Today they were watered with clear water. Each lady got a good 3.5 liters of water, also to rinse the soil. The LST was also readjusted. -DAY 42 The fifth vegetation week comes to an end. The plants are looking good. The LST has been readjusted and a few of the sun leaves have been removed.

This week has gone fine. The lemon still looks sorry for itself. I am thinking they may all finish at the same time maybe the lemon is a little behind the others. Double fucking grape completely impressed with this outcome leaving tomorrow to head outta state visit family. so I'll miss about 4 days. No worries. All it's going great. 2 waterings of 8ltr on 03/01 no runoff and second on 06/01 9.5ltr! Runoffs PH at 6.2. Purchased larger dehumidifier and installed on 03/01 instantly humidity decreaseed from 55-59 to 50-55 on avg. and at night from 62-69 to 54-60. Light from 01/01 on max power output 110 watts. Nutes slightly adjusted. Buds on both girls gaining size, weight. Trichomes on Athena mostly milky and clear with only very few ambers. Xena mostly 50/50 clear and milky, They are smelling gorgeously, not sure if I should smoke or eat them first. Next week will still feed with nutes and keep an eye on trichomes development but it seems that girls are not in a hurry at all. That's okay me neither 😁 Stay tuned for next week entry very soon! The solo cup Afghani x Mac1 from DNA Junkies is coming to an end. These sticky buds are starting to fade and turning a blueish purple. The smell is strong. Very fruit forward with petrol. Still feeding off the last top dressing.

What can I say fast buds have done it again with another amazing strain, she grew really fast, showed great response to lst. She has the most beautiful colours on her when in flower, she would’ve filled out abit more if I gave her another week or 2 but due to certain circumstances she had to be pulled, which is sure a shame but she’s still frosty as hell and stinks! Will certainly be doing this strain again outdoor and indoor! Will update smoke in another week or so. Happy growing! 🌱

Day 57. Girl is flying and becoming tallest from all. Flowers are very chunky, it will produce few grenades ;)))) Still same 500 ppm as extra once a week of Mg. Approx 3g of mycos and phosphorus is added to the pot once a week. Day 58. have very high humidity, so all oscillation fans on max, extraction fan on 70%. Happy Growing !!!

Things have kinda been on cruise control pulled maybe 3 dead leaves. No major issues this week. One more week of nutes then I’m giving her a flush.

march 2: start of week 5 room temp is now 25celcius and plants no longer curl. veg got slowed down a lot finally they got healthy now march 7: changed water to lucas formula (0-8-16) also added 1ml/L H2o2 after 3 days again. to stop algae forming around the hoses and the rubber rings around the pipes.

Soil is drying a lot better now because of the improved airflow. nov 15. megacrop 1.06gr/litre ph'ed at 6.05. about 250 ml nov 18. megacrop 1.06gr/litre ph'ed at 6.05. about 250 ml nov 20. megacrop 1.06gr/litre ph'ed at 6.3. about 400 ml nov 20. LSTed against the net in the back. Changed the LED position and upped it to about 75% from around 50%

Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way.
