The girls have basically exploded this week! They were drinking a ton and have responded really well to the steady increase in nutrients. With the room being basically self sustaining, it’s been a lot less work. Yesterday was the second round of defoliation and because this is my first time getting this far, I decided to be pretty moderate. There’s a few plants I took quite a bit off as an experiment and they seem to be doing great! The guy at my local hyrdo store recommended GH Floralicious Plus for flavor and smell, so I decided to try it out and this is some pretty potent stuff. After their first feeding of the Floralicious they are smelling delicious! The one plant furthest into flower is starting to show some fade in the lower leaves, she will certainly be done before the rest. She has a very sweet and sour aroma, especially if she gets rustled around a little bit. I’m stoked for the rest of flower and seeing their progress. Also I haven’t seen a fungus gnat in weeks so those yellow sticky traps are a must.

So ready to harvest and dry those already, but must be patient. They are getting close but not quite ripe yet. They are taking a little longer than I expected, But at least they are continuing to swell up.

This week gave me a lot of info. I see purple showing up on the edges of leaves. The trichomes are really starting to line the leaves of the upper buds. Both of those things are like krunkleberry. The longer structure of the buds lean toward critical. The way the buds are filling in looks krunkleberry. The smell is a dank sour dough blueberry with a floral critical back drop. I'm not sure if I want to eat it burn it or stuff a pillow with it! In regard to nutrients over the week. A top dressing of roots organic terp tea was applied at a rate of 1 tsp/ gal of soil. 2 cups of roots organic 707 soil was added as well for the ready available nutes in it. Today a brewed batch of terp tea will be watered in. The tea was brewed for 24 hours. It was mixed at a rate of 1 tsp/gal of water. This next part really just made me smile. The water started at a ph of 7.3. After brewing for 24 hours the terp tea ph was 6.73.

🌱 Week 3 | Purple Haze Photo | Folder 7B | Growing at Her Own Pace Welcome back to another chapter of Project Blue, where every Purple Haze phenotype receives its own dedicated diary. Although every plant shares the same genetics, environment, nutrients, and lighting schedule, each one expresses its own unique growth pattern, making every folder a story of its own. This diary is part of my ongoing exploration of 12/12 From Seed, a cultivation technique that has become one of my favourites. From the day these seeds emerged from the soil, they have grown under a 12-hour light cycle, encouraging compact development, excellent internodal spacing, and allowing every phenotype to reveal its natural structure without excessive vegetative growth. Purple Haze 7B reminds us of one of the most important lessons in growing: Not every healthy plant develops at the same speed. She entered Week 3 slightly behind some of her sisters, but she never showed signs of stress or weakness. Instead, she quietly focused on building a strong foundation. Comparing the first photographs with those taken at the end of the week, the improvement is obvious. New nodes are stacking, the stem has thickened, and the canopy is beginning to take shape beautifully. Sometimes patience is the best nutrient we can provide. āø» šŸŒ”ļø Week 3 Growing Environment Every phenotype in Project Blue benefits from the same carefully controlled environment. During this week the room remained stable with the following conditions: • šŸŒ”ļø Day Temperature: 27°C • šŸŒ™ Night Temperature: 25°C • šŸ’§ Relative Humidity: 55% • 🌱 Root Zone Temperature: 21°C • 🚰 Nutrient Solution Temperature: 20°C • āš–ļø pH: 6.0 • ⚔ EC: 1.3 • šŸŒ¬ļø COā‚‚: approximately 666 ppm • šŸ’” Photoperiod: 12 Hours ON / 12 Hours OFF • ā˜€ļø Average PPFD: 600–700 Providing identical environmental conditions across every plant allows each phenotype to express its own genetic potential, making differences in growth much easier to observe and document. āø» 🌿 Feeding Schedule Purple Haze 7B continues receiving the complete Plagron Terra vegetative feeding program: • Terra Grow — 1.8 ml/L • Power Roots — 1 ml/L • Pure Zym — 1 ml/L • Sugar Royal — 1 ml/L Rather than increasing nutrients simply because another plant grows faster, I prefer feeding according to overall health. She has shown excellent colour, healthy new growth, and no indication that she needs anything beyond a consistent and balanced feeding schedule. Healthy roots always come before explosive growth. āø» šŸƒ Letting the Plant Set the Tempo One thing I enjoy about phenotype hunts is learning to respect each plant’s individual pace. It’s tempting to compare sisters growing side by side, but plants don’t read calendars. Purple Haze 7B may have started the week slightly behind, yet every day she added another piece to the puzzle. Her leaves gradually became larger, her stem gained strength, and fresh shoots began emerging confidently from each node. Rather than chasing rapid vertical growth, she invested her energy into creating a sturdy framework for the weeks ahead. That’s exactly the kind of patience I like to see. āø» 🌱 Preparing for Future Training With several healthy nodes now established, this phenotype is approaching the point where gentle canopy management will begin. For now, the focus remains simple. Allow every branch to develop naturally. Maintain strong root growth. Keep the environment stable. As the side branches continue to elongate over the coming days, they’ll become excellent candidates for gentle leaf tucking and Low Stress Training (LST), helping open the canopy without interrupting the plant’s natural momentum. There’s no need to rush the process. Every training technique works best when the plant tells you she’s ready. āø» 🌿 Quiet Progress Is Still Progress One of my favourite things about Purple Haze 7B is her balance. The leaves remain a beautiful healthy green. Internodal spacing is nice and compact. New growth appears vibrant and vigorous. The stem continues to strengthen with each passing day. Although she’s one of the smaller ladies in the room, she carries herself with confidence, and every new set of leaves suggests she’s finding her rhythm. She may not be leading the race today. But healthy, steady plants often become some of the biggest surprises later in flower. āø» šŸ” Looking Ahead Week 3 has given Purple Haze 7B exactly what she needed: time. Time to establish healthy roots. Time to strengthen her stem. Time to build the structural foundation that will support future flowering. As she enters the coming week, I expect her side branches to accelerate, her canopy to become fuller, and her compact frame to transform into a well-balanced flowering structure. With stable environmental conditions and consistent nutrition, she’s now perfectly positioned to continue catching up naturally. Some phenotypes sprint. Others build quietly before showing what they’re truly capable of. Growers Love and I have a feeling 7B belongs to the second group. A massive thank you to Plagron for providing the outstanding Terra nutrient line that keeps Project Blue thriving, to Zamnesia for making this incredible journey possible, and to everyone following these individual phenotype diaries. Every comment, question, and bit of encouragement makes this adventure even more rewarding.A massive thank you to Plagron for providing the outstanding Terra nutrient line that keeps Project Blue thriving, to Zamnesia for making this incredible journey possible, and to everyone following these individual phenotype diaries. This week the strech reached almost 70cm , and the ladies almost grew into the growlight one day so i moved it higher up to stay at a distance if 30cm. i alo defoliated more this time and started strecheing some branches out so everything gets enought light down. they seem to really like the feeding schedule too. The werent any nutrient issues anymore. trhichome production also started and is already about to cover the surrounding keafes. they are going to be pretty frostyyšŸ€ā„ļøā„ļø

Probably the smoothest week since the start, I think that this pheno is a light feeder compared to Strawberry Lemonade in DWC, still running EC at 0.9 max and they’re doing fine, will be increasing the EC in a few days time to around 1.2, last thing I want is lockout during the stretch! Roots are pretty darn big, the bottom right plant is growing well again now although she has probably lost a week or two on the rest of the pack, I’ll try to train plants close to her away so she can get a decent share of light. Flipping them to 12/12 today so the long march to harvest starts now. Dates on the time lapse are unfortunately the dates I uploaded to the app, not necessarily when the pic was taken, but it gives a good enough steer on progress and how long it has taken. Take care all!

dry weight of buds after trimming = 93 gram and about 5 gram of Trim so 98g Total. Actual plan was to leave the plant some more days but after seeing some Nanas developing inside the buds i decided to cut it at day 65 of flower. great smell and cant wait to smoke the final product. All in all definetly a good strain for living soil.

🌱 Germination Journey with Terpyz Mutant Mentha de Croco 🌱 Hey Grow Fam! Today kicks off an exciting adventure with Terpyz Mutant Mentha de Croco genetics. I’ve got 10 regular seeds ready to sprout, and I’m looking forward to discovering some beautiful female phenotypes—and maybe even a standout male for potential future breeding. It’s been a while since I’ve worked with regular seeds, so I’m thrilled to dive in! Germination Process Overview: Here’s a step-by-step rundown of the germination setup and process, with a special focus on the equipment and nutrients that are helping these seeds thrive right from the start. Step 1: TheCannaKan Germination Pod 🌱 For germination, I rely on TheCannaKan—a device I’ve come to love and trust. It’s designed to create the perfect microclimate for seed germination, and within just 24 hours, the seeds started showing signs of life. By the 32-hour mark, they were all ready to be transferred to the next stage! I can’t recommend this gadget enough for anyone serious about getting strong, early growth from their seeds. • Why TheCannaKan? • Humidity Control: Ensures seeds stay hydrated without oversaturation. • Stable Temperature: Maintains an even temperature around the seeds, so there’s no shock or stalling. • Enhanced Oxygenation: Keeps fresh air circulating, helping prevent mold and ensuring seeds don’t suffocate. Step 2: Transfer to Root Riots & Aptus Holland Supplements šŸ’§ Once the seeds were sprouted, I transferred them into Root Riots, known for their excellent water retention and structure that encourages strong root growth. Root Riots also have a pH-balanced, spongy texture that makes it easy for roots to penetrate, promoting sturdy, healthy root systems. At this stage, I started using Aptus Holland’s Regulator and Startbooster at 1ml/L each. Here’s why I chose these products for early growth: • Aptus Regulator (1ml/L): Helps strengthen the plants against environmental stresses by supporting cell wall structure. It’s a fantastic choice for giving young seedlings an early boost in resilience. • Aptus Startbooster (1ml/L): This product provides essential microbes and nutrients that stimulate root growth and early plant vigor. Especially for regular seeds, the early root development makes a noticeable difference in later growth stages. Step 3: Lighting with Future of Grow (FOG) LED at 200 PPFD šŸ’” For lighting, I’m using a Future of Grow (FOG) 600W LED. For the germination stage, I’ve dimmed it to around 200 PPFD (photosynthetic photon flux density), which provides just enough light for healthy, strong seedling growth without overwhelming them. • Why Low Intensity? • 200 PPFD ensures that young plants aren’t exposed to too much light, which could cause stress or stunting. This level of intensity is perfect for encouraging healthy development without risking ā€œstretching.ā€ • The FOG LED provides a balanced spectrum tailored to plant growth, setting up these young sprouts for success as they grow. Step 4: Environmental Control with TrolMaster Tent X Controller šŸ“² For monitoring and control, I’m using the TrolMaster Tent X Controller, which lets me dial in every aspect of the environment to make sure these little ones have the perfect conditions for germination and early growth. • TrolMaster Benefits: • Precision Control: Adjust temperature, humidity, and lighting all in one place. • Notifications: Sends updates in real-time to my device, so I can make adjustments as needed without being physically present. • Consistency: Maintains stable conditions around the clock, reducing stress on seedlings and ensuring they’re thriving. Grow Tips & Reflections: Germination is one of the most crucial stages in a plant’s lifecycle. Starting with strong genetics like Terpyz Mutant Mentha de Croco, combined with a solid germination setup and the right nutrients, creates the foundation for a successful grow. šŸ’” Quick Tips for Fellow Growers: • Hydration Balance: Don’t oversaturate! Moisture levels should be high enough for the seeds to sprout but not so wet that they drown. • Light Management: A low PPFD for young seedlings prevents stretch and keeps nodes tight, preparing them for a healthy vegetative phase. • Environment Consistency: Use a reliable controller like the TrolMaster Tent X to manage your settings, and consider monitoring tools for real-time adjustments. Shout Outs to the Community: Big thanks to Terpyz Genetics for these incredible seeds, Aptus Holland for their top-notch nutrients, Future of Grow for the stellar LED lights, and TrolMaster for the amazing controller. Also, shout out to all of you in the growing community—you make this journey exciting and filled with endless learning. Let’s keep growing and sharing together! That’s it for the germination update! Next up, I’ll be monitoring growth closely to identify strong females (and maybe a standout male for breeding).
