Plants are looking good so far, added about 2ml/gal to the reservoir this week and plants responded well. They are all keeping short and stocky so far and should be able to start LST training in a few days I think. I also turned up the light to 750w and the air temps are now hovering between 24c-25c. Water temps are creeping up though in the 21c range, gonna wrap the buckets tonight in foil insulation and build a water cooler for this setup soon as well. Had some Ph issues during week 4 because my pen decided to go wonky. I tried to calibrate it again and had a hard time. So I busted out an older one and decided to calibrate it and see if it worked still... calibrated in a few min and sure enough res ph was well bellow 5. So water was changed as it was time anyway and ph’d proper just before lights out so we will see what happens tomorrow.

Einen wunderschönen guten Tag, liebe Grow-Community, und herzlich willkommen zur fünften Woche meines kleinen Outdoorprojekts! Wir nähern uns mit großen Schritten der eigentlich interessanten Phase meines Gartenprojekts. Jetzt mag der ein oder andere sagen, dass die Pflanze im Vergleich zur letzten Woche kaum Fortschritte gemacht hat, und evtl. habt ihr recht. Allerdings möchte ich zu meiner Verteidigung sagen, dass das Setup so für mich sehr neu gewesen ist und ich zwar indoor „gelernt“ habe, ich jedoch die letzten Grows fast vollständig outdoor kultiviert hatte (seitdem es legal ist, selbstverständlich ;)). Außerdem sehe ich die letzten Wochen noch als Anzuchtphase, also alles halb so wild :). Aber genug der Ausreden :), was stand diese Woche an? Da sich der „Auswilderungszeitpunkt“ jetzt wetterbedingt doch noch um eine Woche verschiebt und die kleinen Substrat und Topf geschuldet den ersten Mangel aufweisen, habe ich den kleinen mal ihre erste richtige Düngung verabreicht (Greenhouse-Powderfeeding 1 g/L). Eigentlich sollten sie schon rausgesetzt werden, allerdings traue ich diesem ganzen Warm-/Kalt-Mumpitz nicht.  Da gönne ich den Damen lieber noch eine Woche in ihren künstlich beleuchteten vier Wänden. Ebenso musste ich die Pflanzen untenrum etwas ausdünnen, da die älteren Blätter leider mangelbedingt irreversibel geschädigt waren. Der Tee wird für ca. 24 Stunden mittels einer Aquarienpumpe in Kombination mit Sprudelsteinen belüftet. Je nach Dauer der Belüftung enthält das Endprodukt mehr Mikroorganismen (24 h), bei länger gebrauten Tees enthält dieser weniger Mikroorganismen, dafür mehr gelöste Nährstoffe und Enzyme sowie Aminosäuren, welche als Futter für bereits bestehende Mikroorganismen fungieren. Um das beste Ergebnis zu erzielen, müsste ich mein Setup noch mit einem Heizstab ergänzen, welcher die Wassertemperatur konstant zwischen 20 und 23 Grad hält. Für den Tee benötigen wir: Ca. 15 L Wasser   30 g 1 l Regenwurmhumus Eine handelsübliche Aquarienpumpe + Sprudelstein Melasse (fungiert als Nahrung und begünstigt die Vermehrung der Bakterien). Der Wurmhumus steuert die Mikrorganismen sowie Huminsäure bei, welche das Pflanzenwachstum unterstützen. Ich verwende ausschließlich Regenwasser, da es weder Chlorrückstände aufweist noch einen niedrigen EC‑Wert (ca. 0,05) hat. Wo liegen die benefits? Fördern den Gasaustausch der Pflanze, indem sie dafür sorgen, dass sich die Stomata schneller und weiter öffnen (wenn als Blattspray angewandt). – Beimpfen den Boden mit nützlichen Mikroorganismen (Pilze, Bakterien, Protozoen, Nematoden etc.) und sorgen dafür, dass ein Boden-Nahrungsnetzwerk aufgebaut wird, welches die organischen Stoffe im Boden zersetzt und diese für Pflanzen verfügbar macht. Morgen werden die Kleinen dann mit dem Tee gegossen. Alles, was übrig bleibt, benutze ich dann, um die bis dahin hoffentlich fertig gemischte Erde anzugießen, bevor sie eine Woche in den Endtöpfen fermentiert. Pressed the 45-90u first at 75°C and a 2nd time at 80°C. First press was 5,65g and 2nd press was 0,5 which i dabbed right away and had some very nice candy fumez terps. Makes it a ~1,2% return on the lower quality, i am hoping for ~4g on the 90-160u which will be my premium quality. Pressed the 90-160u first at 75°C and a 2nd time at 80°C. First press was 4g like i hoped for and 2nd press was only 0,2 which i dabbed right away and had really nice high. Makes premium quality return ~0,8% from fresh frozen, which makes the tmg#1 return roughly 2% in total. Terps on the 90-160u are more subtle for now, but maybe that means i dont lose all the terps curing. Keeping it in the fridge and will only whip when it butters up.

Wegetation 25 weeks

3/8 (0745): CP weedlings look super happy. Can see the next node starting to develop between the fan leaves! HK and 710 germinating away. 3/8 (1600): Horticultural charcoal was delivered yesterday so I did a little top dress on the seedlings. Gave a light watering too. 3/9 (0730): Second node is coming in quick! Seeds still germinating but expecting to see green tonight or tomorrow AM. 3/9 (2230): CP growing strong, expect the second set of leaves by EOD tomorrow. HK and 710 broke soil over the course of the evening and will be upright by tomorrow morning! Learned from some key mistakes: didn’t water as much, planted the seed deeper so the shell would come off. Feeling good!! 3/10 (1200): HK and 710 seedlings are making their way up today! Had to help the 710 out of the inner seed coating, which was holding the cotyledons together. Both seedlings are open and getting sunlight, everyone's very happy. Both CPs are growing their second node quickly. 3/10 (2245): watered CPs. PH 6.4 going in and 7.1 coming out. Have been misting the HK/710 as needed. 3/12 (0900): watered/misted all. PH. 6.2 going in and 6.4 coming out. Much better. CPs are filling out their 3-bangers and have the start of growth for the fives. Ordered some smart plugs yesterday in the hopes of automating environment control a little.

Good growth, Blueberry powering through cal mag issue. Skywalker will be first to harvest for sure. Insane amount of frost on that plant. Glueberry og continues to require fairly frequent defoliations to open up canopy. Blueberry starting to get some subtle berry coming through.

Girls looking very healthy and happy. Due to my short trip had to leave my 🍌💜👊 girls unsupervised for 3 days. Was stunned when opened my cabinet on the Dec 5th. Athena stretched like crazy. Good 3 inches. She better slow down as not much roof space left for her. May tie some taller branches to netting if necessary. Introducing blooming nutes for the first time this week on December 6th at smaller dosage and on the second watering as listed. Week 8 Dec 4 - Dec 10 Dec 5 Leaves tucking Dec 6 Heavier selective defoliation on both girls. Athena fully lolipopped and Xena at 75%. Watered with 8 ltr beetwen both with perfect runoofs PH 6.4. Girls were very thirsty 🤤 Dec 7-8 Just enjoying how my girls developing. Frost has landed and they are start showing colours. All is looking great. Dec 9 Second watering for this week 7 ltr beetwen both. Runoffs PH 6.4 Even with so much difrence in size of my 🍌💜👊 girls it seems that they are drinking my juice almost equally. Dec 10 Applied selective defoliation and tied 3 tallest branches of Athena to netting to avoid any potential burns on these beautiful baby colas. It's the end of the week!
