6 beaplants 960 watts total and a total of 920 grams of wet weed so far

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great week. The Glueberry OG is still hanging in there, she is only 10 inches by week 5, but she appears to be fairly healthy. I did some LST this week, mainly readjusting the uppermost mains to try and allow the lowers to catch up. I did go out of the state for a few days and when I got back the PH in my reservoir was at 7.1 which is way too high. I miscalculated how much it would rise while I was gone, I should have had someone swing by and check it, but i will next time. Fortunately it doesn't appear to have affected this Glueberry OG as all her leaves are still lime green. It did affect the Strawberry Banana from Fastbuds slightly, as the lower leaves have a couple rust spots but nothing major. Fortunately the two youngest plants were not even hooked up to the reservoir yet. I am still very pleased with this Medic Grow light, as I still have her on the V1 Spectrum at 60% now and she is keeping the plants short and bushy. I believe this Glueberry OG is about to start stretching maybe this week or next at the latest. I will do my best to limit her height as much as possible, as this light is way too powerful to have her colas getting any closer than 10-12 inches at most. Not much left to do with this Glueberry OG except continue some minor LST to keep her level, and determine when to switch to flower nutrients. I see many growers switch to flower nutrients as soon as they see pre-flowers, pistils, etc, but I disagree with this method. I continue feeding veg nutrients until I see my lady stop growing vertically. The reason is if you cut off the nitrogen too early she will stop stretching and just produce flowers, so the length of her colas will be GREATLY reduced. If I am running out of vertical space during the stretch, I will make the switch a little early. Without a doubt the best bud I‘ve ever grown! I have nothing but positive things to say about the genetics of this plant. This was my first mephisto grow so very impressed. Buds are sticky and dense after weeks of 90-100 degree weather. No signs of stress or slowing. The plants tackled every hint of def or toxicity with ease. Got a little less yield than I expected, but not complaining as quality is incredible!! Buds dryed for 6 days and cured for 7 as of review. Very dense and sticky. Yielded 5oz dry A-bud, 2oz dry fluff, and 15oz of wet trim. Pressed the fluff with a 11% yield. Rosin is budder-like and smooth. EDIT: Later edited on aug 17 to provide cure update. —-smoke report—- The finished cured bud reeks intensely of diesel, raspberry, and hash! The smoke itself is light on the lungs and heavy in texture. Smoke hints at flavors of raspberry and caramel with sweet notes. High produces strong headband and couchlock effect. Potency is high without a doubt. Smoking a few under 30 day cured bowls produces a high for a solid 3-6 hours even at a high tolerance level. As of mid-august, the cure is complete and stone has intensified. Feels waaay more indica this time. Fully cured bud can knock a seasoned stoner the fuck out. Blew my expectations out of the water This was my first mephisto grow and it made me a diehard fan. Can‘t wait to grow more later in the year!

It’s the third week of flowering, and the plants are starting to show some exciting progress! 🌿 The buds have begun to build mass, and the first signs of trichome development are visible, giving them a light nice, frosty look. ✨ I did notice a few nutrient deficiencies on the leaves, likely due to underfeeding, as I’m using a medium with 50% coco. To fix this, I adjusted the nutrient levels, and the plants seem to be responding well. 🌱 The plant that wasn’t trained with LST is about a week ahead in development compared to the LST version, showing more advanced bud growth. Also, the smell is becoming more pronounced, with the first hints of that classic, sweet aroma filling the tent. 🍬🌿 I’m excited to see how things continue to unfold in the coming weeks! 😁✨

It was a great and enjoyable experience. Although my light was low, I got a good result. My light was 120 watts. In the first week of growth, my plant was uprooted It stopped growing for a week and then Powerful continued to grow

Hi Growmies, I'm excited to share some big news today! Although there have been some unexpected twists, it's all part of the incredible journey of gardening. I've just completed the harvest, a tad earlier than initially planned, due to finding a bit of mold in one of the buds. Despite this minor hiccup, the trichomes were already at a decent 10% to 15% amber. So, all things considered, the timing ended up being pretty spot-on. The harvested weight was a solid 609 grams after trimming, which is quite a feat! A lesson learned for next time: perhaps I let her grow a few too many buds, leading to a denser canopy than ideal. But on the bright side, the aroma is absolutely divine. I sampled an airy bud that had dried a bit, and wow, it packs a stronger punch than its clone mother. And the flavor? Pure, unadulterated cheese – no hint of pineapple here! Now, the anticipation builds for the final dry weight, which I should know in about 3-4 days. It's been a while but the ladies are doing great. Some pretty nice budformation. 1 of the ladies has some special looking buds, I wonder how they'll finish.

Day 92 (September 16th): so I’ve realized a PH issue in the soil… unfortunately it’s too late to make a drastic change, but I’ve lowered the PH in my water to try and level her out until harvest. This would explain my multitude of deficiencies I’ve been having. Still not sure how to better manage soil PH but you can be damn sure I’ll do my research so it won’t happen again. Soil is hard haha. Day 94: starting to see more and more amber trichomes. This will likely be my last week of flower. Should be ready around day 100. Let’s see what happens! Day 97: So I’m starting to think I was wrong… these may have more time than I thought still. I’m definitely okay with that. Hopefully they continue to produce and thicken up.

09.07 After 75 days of bloom and 5 days without water I harvested all of the plants, It's the beginning of the harvest window declared by the breeder. They werent ready to 100% but I needed to harvest them with the other plants

9/11 Wed. 12 am Raised lights and the watts. NYC is tall now even after topping. Looking really nice. 5 am lights up to 88W didn't raise the light any higher. 330 pm Got some nice shots of NYC, She is getting tall so I may top her twice and keep the bottom 4 colas, not sure yet. 9/12 12 am good. 2 am light up to 93W and raised 3 clicks. 93 at 8 to 14 inches for the shorter plants should be enough power. 2pm. Spent 6 hours putting in extra dirt and perlite and cut NYC in half!!! She's too tall for this grown, but Im sure I can still do just great with 4 colas well trimmed!! 9/12 11 pm. They are doing good NYC is growing good after 2nd topping. GOAT is doing great. 9/13 12am Cutting NYC in half yesterday worked!!!! She's doing great. GOAT is great too 9/13 12 am. Moved 3 plants that were small into their own tent. 2:30am They are doing better in the new tent with more space. 9/14 4 am.I used 1 gram of Maxibloom Powder and .6ml of purpinator yesterday will keep the mix for a few days 9/15 Looking good light up to 95. Got some nice pics of GOAT forming flowers, her leaves have a peach color the microscope pics are good. had to get a new one.

The girls look really nice, growing strong and fast, except 1, I’m growing 2 Alakazam from Seedmakers and 2 Tangerine Dream from Barney’s. T There’s one Alakazam that has presented problems since germination. Some of the leaves have yellow-brown dots, most of her root system is healthy, but it has some brown areas, it seems kinda weak overall, it’s the one that has grown more but the one showing problems. The other Alakazam and the 2 Tangerine Dream are looking really nice. Have been doing 50% nute strength feeding, adjusting ph level daily and showing them a lot of love. Should I do something different with the Alakazam or is it just a weak seed? Thanks!

So today I started the flush, is the first time I used a product to flush, I have read and basically, the community is split in half about to flush or not to flush, I will see first hand if actually flushing creates a better quality.

Which means airflow and internal light penetration become critical early. And that’s exactly why this week mattered. ⸻ 🍃 The Defoliation — Not Aesthetic. Architectural. This was not cosmetic trimming. It was: • Removing large fan leaves blocking interior bud sites • Cleaning inner congestion • Opening airflow channels • Resetting light distribution across the canopy • Helping the entire room environment (not just this plant) The room needed air — this plant was advanced enough to handle stress. That’s key. Week 3 of flower is the transition window: • Stretch is slowing • Bud sites are set • Energy shifts toward stacking At this stage, a strategic defoliation: • Improves transpiration efficiency • Reduces microclimate humidity pockets • Prevents internal leaf-to-leaf condensation • Encourages bud site activation below the top canopy This was structural architecture. Not haircut vanity. ⸻ 🌡️ 28°C in Flower — “Too Hot?” Let’s Go Deep. People panic when they hear 28°C in flower. But here’s where most growers confuse: 🔥 HPS vs LED Heat Behavior Under HPS: • Radiant heat warms leaf surfaces directly • Leaf temperature often equals or exceeds room temp • 28°C air under HPS can mean 30–32°C leaf temp • That pushes VPD dangerously high Under LED: • Less infrared radiation • Leaf surface temp is typically 1–3°C LOWER than room temp • So at 28°C room temp, leaf temp might be 25–26°C And VPD calculations depend on leaf temperature, not air temperature. ⸻ 🌿 What Is Leaf VPD? VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) measures the difference between: • Moisture inside the leaf • Moisture in the surrounding air But if you calculate VPD using only room temp, you’re missing the real transpiration dynamics. With: • 28°C air • ~25–26°C leaf surface (LED) • 65% RH Leaf VPD sits in a very workable mid-flower zone. Not extreme. Not stress-inducing. Not shutdown territory. We’re driving metabolism, not cooking terpenes. ⸻ 💧 Why 65% RH Isn’t Dangerous Here Context matters: • Good airflow • Opened canopy • Compact but cleaned structure • Early-mid flower (Week 3, not Week 7) At this stage: • Pistils are forming • Bud density is still moderate • Transpiration is active High humidity becomes dangerous when: • Bud mass is dense • Internal airflow is poor • Late flower resin traps moisture We’re not there yet. And we just improved airflow with defoliation. ⸻ ⚡ EC 2.9 — Aggressive but Intentional That EC is strong.
