I did an extended vegetation on these girls and I topped them a couple of times, to which they responded well. It is day 127 (18 weeks total), but only end of Week four of flowering. They are looking beautiful and very nice size, considering they are only about half way through flowering.

she already has a strong smell .. and milky trichomes ... and some amber by 5% ... already beginning its maturation process ... with its of woody wood and like a mint smell ... just I have to be patient to enjoy it ... we'll see how it goes

Got better at week 8 end. Finally lots of trichomes, buds are gettin denser last couple days. Made a couple of pure water waterings between nutrition. Defoliated hard and seems like this is last time before harvest. Please share any thoughts/tips on better growing this baby👇 Peace🙏

Nate in inizio aprile le prime gorilla glue xl sono da subito partite alla grande, una fase vegetativa molto notevole, ad inizi agosto già sfiorava i due metri di altezza la gorilla xl! Hanno resistito bene al caldo afoso del sud Italia estivo, hanno resistito ai forti temporali di fine settembre, la temperatura diurna e notturna è calata drasticamente causando colorazioni viola in gran parte delle infiorescenze di gorilla glue xl, gelato Olandese e Critical XL, a parte una gorilla gigante, le altre e 5 sono rimaste di statura media ma molto piene di infiorescenze sempre più resinose e profumate e colorate.. Da subito a metà agosto hanno iniziato a fiorire e attualmente manca qualche giorno alla fine di questo magico outdoor, grazie alle varietà di dutchfem Seeds siamo sempre più soddisfatti, cosa pretendere di più?? Anche le autofiorenti sono state magnifiche.. Piante di grande quantità e grande qualità.. Forza dutchfem seeds!

Day 35 Flower Hey Growers. Things are going well here, other than the delicious funk that is emanating from my house. The carbon filter is not able to keep up with these beauties and the FastBuds flowering at the same time. It’s also about 5 years old so…..time for a new one. It also doesn’t help that the 4 ft of snow around the house is melting and I have to have the grow room door open for the sump line, but whatever. These girls are just cruising along. I watered with 950 ppm and 1650 was the runoff. I’m noticing a bit of tip burn but I hear that normalish for full spectrum leds. They make the plants draw extra mag, seems like the Epsom is helping with that. I’m getting to a point where I may need to water twice a day to achieve denser quality buds, the next couple weeks will dictate that. Hand watering hydro is a terrible idea!!!!!!!!!! Too late to turn back. I am running the Vipar Spectra XS2000 at the recommended 16” at 100%. I’m also alternating from the right to left side of the tent each day like a poor man’s light mover. I’m noticing leaf edge curl (tacoing) but it’s nothing major and they pointing upwards. They seem happy. All in all I’m happy with how it’s going, just gonna keep it on cruise control and tuck or remove leaves causing problems. Happy Growing 🌱

Day 37 - Giving her another light feed with sufficient calmag to rectify the calcium deficiency. Day 39 - Received another feed with everything listed above at 600ppm. The lush green is coming back to the leaves and the wilting has been reduced with the small heater. I’m aiming to keep the tent above 67 or 10-12 deg lower than day time temps which were last averaging 77 and 55%RH.

She is growing perfectly, I hope she continues to feel comfortable in the tent. The flower heads are already there and the leaves are a rich green.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. 09/16: Fed 30/70 blend of Veg to Bloom to all the photos. Noticed PM on True OG. Didn't notice yet but my OBW (and some other autos) also had a bad PM infection. Light defoliation and trimming 09/21: More PM found. Again light defoliation and trimming. Aphids also found on some of the autos.

End off week 11, concluding week 7 off flowering: Hi(gh) Guys! Thanks for viewing my weekly update (i hope again?)! The girls are doing great. I have to come back on a previous statement, i said that 3 girls are ahead of the rest and up for an early harvest, although that is both true, actually there straight on schedule, and i think the rest is behind. The manual on this strain says they need 9 weeks and flowering week 7 is now concluded. They start to gain weight all three and the stems are beginning to bend. This upcoming week they will get their last nutrients, but week 9 they will only get water, so i can flush properly for the upcoming week and a half. End of week 9 they will be terminated, because my vaporizer is idle for too long already! As for the rest, they will need at least 2 or 3 weeks longer, because everywhere i look i see loads of white hairs, and i’m seeing forward to show you some off my biggest nugs ever! This is my first time on this website and i’m having a lot of fun. Earlier i'd grow my best round ever with 9 Gorilla Glue #4 ladieboys, what nice buds did they produce. But i guess the OG is going to be at least as close. That’s good for me because this is my favorite strain. Please leave a comment, and like my post. My account needs a little more love!
