Normally, I wouldn't top an automatic of the Red Family from Sweet Seeds from experience. Somehow they had problems more often, when I did. When they were fully grown, they were usually very productive and healthy. She simply had too weak nerves. But that's ok. My nerves are also pretty down. Due to the loss of my beloved Quimaria - I miss my sweet cat girl insanely. That's why I didn't want to interrupt this passage with the good old Secret Jardin to set up the Homebox. Too many beautiful memories stick to this tent, because my ladybug always sat at the edge of the bed, when I did my gardening. For me, this also means a kind of farewell. Regular feeds twice a day the most consistent enviroment ive ever run, and the rewards are there to see. She is stacking great loads of space for her colas and the nicest stawberry smell.. I have a bed of stawberries in the garden and its amazing just how fruity these flowers are.. No drama and nothing to report so a little boring. Maybe the pics will be eye candy for you as much as they are for me.. Stay safe Grow well..

01/26 - (Clone mother) - She got a little funky last week and was in recovery mode for about 2 days - She has since then recovered (24hrs) and is performing amazingly - Running high temps High humidity - 2 part feed (Clean/Nute) on micro-dose program.

This week has been a good one all round. The sun has been beaming down all day for days and I still due to continue for a while. The gorilla 🦍 has now started to get to a nice bushy size, unfortunately outgrowing the original tent position. After the mistake I made with the Rhino Ryder I grew by taking the bold move to leave permanently in the elements, the cold temps at night really slowed bud production. I have had to improvise and make a shoddy attempt at lifting the tent to allow the room needed.

This week went well for the Durban Nights. Not much to report, she hit day 14 today and is working on her 3rd node, I will transplant her in 48 hours, then hopefully top her in about a week or less. I will wait for her to grow at least 7 nodes so I am sure her roots are solid before the topping, but she will absolutely explode after transplanted into coco coir so that shouldnt be a problem. I will also complete the first two sets of toppings at the 3rd node, so that should shave a little time off as well as I previously completed the 2nd and 3rd toppings at the 5th and 3rd node to further spread out the plant. Super excited for this strain as it is a cross of Durban Thai and Jack Herer which are two of my favorite Sative Strains. I hope everyone has a safe weekend. First time to ever do this method. My lessons learned here were: (1) Remove the wine bottle label! The heat from the water is minimized if paper label remains. (2) Dry your hash properly if you want a temple ball at the end. Small fine grains if needed... to ensure the last of the moisture escapes. And it smokes and melts away. (3) Hashmasters of GrowDiaries are telling me that BubbHash can't be bricked or temple balled in general. Hmmm... So it isn't my error then .. it's the hash! 🤣🤣 I’ll keep on trying the Frenchie method until I get it. 😅 Wish me luck!
