Grow Diary – Wochenupdate 🌱 Diese Woche verlief insgesamt ziemlich entspannt. Großartig eingreifen musste ich nicht, nur bei der kleineren Pflanze, die nicht getoppt wurde, habe ich nochmal etwas nachgeschnitten – vor allem ein paar Blätter, da doch wieder einiges nachgewachsen ist. Aktuell sehen beide Pflanzen sehr gesund aus und machen einen stabilen Eindruck. Man merkt jetzt schon deutlich den Unterschied zwischen getoppt und nicht getoppt, was sich auch im Aufbau und der Struktur zeigt. Für den nächsten Run ist der Plan klar: Beide Pflanzen werden wieder getoppt und zusätzlich mit Scrog gearbeitet. Der Vergleich zu den vorherigen Grows zeigt einfach, dass sich der Mehraufwand definitiv lohnt. Bin gespannt, was die nächsten Wochen noch bringen. Happy Growing Growmies

Alright grow cycle, mistakes, improvements, etc... She did stay in veg for too long, her growth was slow and not the best and so she took quite long, next time i'll be there from the beginning so I can take care of her throughout. But her growth is really fun. It is a tall growing sativa with fairly tight noding when trained accordingly, producing long filled colas. The buds grow fairly dense and fluffly but do air out a little when dried. Trichome production was pretty impressive as well as terpene production. She had thrips since her early days but did not seem to mind them at all. I did spray them initially but once flower started I stopped. I believe predatory mites might have been feeding on the pupae in the soil, if that is what this specific species of thrips did, the reason I say that is I could never see adults only larvae. Whatever the case maybe they were there but the population never really increased. Something I did not mention during the grow is that those plants were played music during the days, music that is apparently developed for plants. The 10L pot was WAY too small for a true sustainable living organic and to provide enough space for the plant, that was a mistake, I'd say a 20L would be the bare minimum and still. The bigger the better. The hempy transfer did not hurt the plant and I believe even helped to some extent, BUT, I am still running test on the subject and so can't confirm anything, here are my observations Roots did not colonize the perlite, a little on top and the sides but that was it, I was expecting to see a big root mass in there. I believe hempy are great for salt fert as it hold a soup of nutes where the plant can feed from since the coco only holds very little Whereas in nature most nutrient are in the top soil where the highest amount of decomposition happens, this is where the highest microbial activity happens and so where the plant will find food. Living organic is trying to reproduce nature and so there is no need for the plant's roots to gather at the bottom of the pot. Although it could have potentially provided the plant access to a larger amount of water and possibly more oxygenation of the pot. Those are all theories, please speak up if you have other proofs. In conclusion , unless i get proven otherwise by someone or my latest running experiment , I will not be using hempies again as I believe it brings more complication and issues than a simple fabric pot. The lights, The 600w at the start was good, then I decided to add a 400w...😂 That was completely overkill and not necessary. Waste of electricity. And they started suffering from too much light it seems at some point, I raised the light by a good 30 cm and they were fine. 600 is more than enough. I am happy about how the soil performed but it has room for improvements. As for the watering technique I have been watering large ammount every few days, next time I will be giving constant small amount of water each day and a soak every week or so, I believe the soil might perform better under those conditions. She was also an easy plant to harvest whit her long colas which had very little foliage, I do trim in excess as I like my buds extra clean but the buds are not excessively bushy. The trims were use to make some bubble hash, around 100g of wet trims yielded around 1.5-2g of bubble hash. I did add a negative effect but only because it wouldn't give me a smile otherwise, but to be honnest it barely dries your mouth. The soil is going to be recycled and reused in a next grow. I can't think of anything else at the moment but if you have any question don't hesitate.

Week 8 begins for mandarin dreams and divine storm. All four ladies are frosty, sticky and the mandarin smell is incredibly strong. I love how these girls look and are growing under the TSW2000, they look better than round 1, grown under my own custom Samsung strip's. Thank you Mars-Hydro for the light! 1/11/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 1- I have a root almost in the water.. Yay!! Top feeding is almost done. she is looking a little sad as I work the transition Top feeding but once the roots are fully in the water she will start to take off. Ensured my PPFD is set between 250-300 it is set to: 258 1/12/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 2- I have a root in the water.... NO TOP FEED TODAY SIR!!! now that a root is touching the water and she looks stable, I am not going to topfeed, I will see how she looks tomorrow and as long as everything looks good I am going to go ahead and do a change and week 1 fill on Nutes.. I know it is a couple of days in but the same Nutes go through Week 2 and get changed at Week 3 So I should be good to go.. I will just ensure I fill to root touching the water when I change tomorrow. 1/13/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 3- Water Change Day!! I added 36 Gallons of Water to the system: Silica= .5mil/gal= 18mil CalMag= .75mil/gal = 27mil FloraMicro=3.0mil/gal = 108mil FloraGro=2.0mil/gal = 72mil FloraBloom= 2.0mil/gal = 72mil PH DOWN= 30mil Very important thing with this system is to now wait the 24 hours for the system to adjust.. Do not make any further adjustments to your PH up or Down for 24 hours to allow time for the system to balance. 1/14/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 4- Today I just adjusted the PH to ensure that it was right at 6.0 1/15/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 5- Today I Cleaned up the lower damaged leaves from the transition from top feeding to roots in the water. She looks good today. 1/16/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 6- Today I just took a picture of the beautiful lady for Log. Other than that just normal day to day operations, check the pH, check the Humidifiers and fill as necessary, check level of water in the Res. Everything looks great. onto Tomorrow!! 1/17/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 7- Today I filled the humidifers, checked the PH and just let her grow.. Grow baby Grow.....

Day 83 of cycle Week 6 of flowering - Day 45 of flowering Purple punch will definitely not yield much as we can see, but the buds are looking frosty and smelling really good.. a bit citrusy.. I am in love with 😍.. The breeder says it’s 50 to 60 days of flowering so I decided to take her to flush on day 45 as the plant looks to be in the last weeks.. to be honest now I think its just the time to get the trichomes more amber to chop it off. Let’s go and the watching has started 💥🍁🔥

Both alive and well, watered on Day 1 with 200 ml of PH'd tap water and a sprinkle (0,5ml/L) of PowerRoots. Light is sitting at 360-400 ppfd at 40 cm. Humidity dome came off and i cranked up my humidifier, we will see how it goes! Day 3 500 ml of 5,9PH 0,7EC Tapwater with 1ml/L PowerRoots

Day 66 - Today i fed her, kept same feeding as lat week, will only feed acti-vera every couple times. She´s been very healthy im very happy. Im still confused about the "rust" spots, but it´s not spreading. Day 68 - These last couple days was cloudy. Today probably will rain. She´s smelling :) Has a very fresh greenish blueberry smell. Day 69 - Today was a hard day. I woke up and the bottom leafs were yellowing and she wasn´t happy. Is it N deficiency or overfeeding? Or maybe fading already? Will keep a close eye and watch how/if it develops. Spotted leaf septoria and removed infected leqfs right away and also spotted some rot in one bud, which i removed. Cricket bites are exposing the plant. Let´s keep strong and help the plant fight and recover. I need to get neem oil Day 71 - Today i fed her, but now i am doubting myself as im thinking i should have flushed at least once with ph´d water. Is she fading already at this stage? I´ll work to keep things in control. Today i also slightly defoliated her, removed inside and top fan leaves that were shading the buds mostly to also improve airflow, as buds are getting shaped. I also want to keep leaf septoria, bud rot, and other diseases away.

In my experience, mango is a bit hard to to achieve the best looking and tasty smoking buds. I had to do many extra stuff at the end, gave a lot of stress to plants. Fortunately, everything worked out so well, the stress doesn't interfere with the taste much. It smoked very good, hit heavy indica with tropical kush taste. Lastly, Within a control environment with proper knowledge, I did all of these in my whole plant cycle : LST, HST, chiropractic, stem splitting, extreme cold stress, and total darkness.

Day 50 since Germaniation. Genetics are really nice and strong. Even against high amounts of nutritions. Rqs never disappoints but this genetics i like the most so far. Cant wait to see the result

This week I transplanted them into their final homes, 2 liter mountain dew bottles. I cut tiny holes 2" up from the bottom to create a reservoir. My plan is to fill a 2x2 tent with these 2liters. Next week I flip to 12/12. Plants are barely 6-7".

We have a runner. She's growing to the sun 🌞 can't wait to get her outside. The male I grew was extremely tall I'm going to keep her short and bushy, hopefully. One of my favorite daytime strains for an uplifting mood that I've had so far.
