I’ve been hitting spider mites with Bioneem + Neudosan sprays regularly (lights off), and the difference is clear — far fewer webs now. Ants were crawling up stems a while back, but a dish soap rinse handled them well and I’m barely seeing any now. Bud sites are fattening up, trichomes are mostly cloudy, and the smell is classic Blue Cheese funk — sharp and sweet. Harvest Plan: Going for a split harvest: Top colas around day 63–66 (week 9), depending on trichome progress. Lower buds/popcorn will stay on for 5–7 days more for extra ripening. We are in the middle of winter and despite growing in an area that isn't the warmest in Europe, it's really cold now. It's 16-18 degrees Celsius in the house and we need to bring the temperature of the propagator growbox between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius. So we first placed a layer of those 1 cm thick "rubberized" floors that are used for gyms, they are easily found on Amazon and are very useful for insulation. Then a heated resistance mat and then the closed propagator on top. Inside with our seedlings and the light on at minimum 20% we reached 24 degrees, not bad in fact the germination is proceeding very well. 100% opening of the seeds in water and almost all of them are opening in our biodegradable peat pots. ----- Our Ghost Train Haze were the first to open in water and the first to come out of the ground. Day 50 Flowering: Hi all. Another week gone and another week closer to the harvest we get. All of the girls have been behaving very well and adorning themselves with trichromes and scents of their genetics. Six shooter now has a really nice dusty appearance on all her many sugar leaves and budlets which give her a very dangerous look of potency that is usually seen in gg4 and hybrids. She is not big at all but the limbs she has are full of buds and beginning to thicken out as the final two weeks run out . She has a candy sweet smell getting near her now too. Strawberry Pie is now filling her space out nicely under the light with her buds also beginning to fatten during the last week. she has a nice healthy build up of trichromes now amd shows her "cake" side a little more now. She has made a good sized plant amd has been a fairly willing participant to the basic lst she got. Mexican Airline has continued to shine as the starlet of the grow. Her buds are so attractive to look at with their spikey appearance and mixed colours being produced now. Her general size is good and her energy tobgrow has been great too. The buds are really unique looking on this strain and I will be growing this again soon without doubt. Bud sizes are very good at this stage and I hope that the final few weeks will really push her to swell . They are all now on the Dragon force to finish the final two weeks which should power rhe swelling and production of more oils for the harvest. They will be fed this for the next week now before a final week of weak feed to encourage a little fan leaf stores usage. Fingers crossed it all goes to plan. Wish the buds would have got a little bigger but feel like that’s particularly my fault for a short Veg but overall I am blow away by the outcome for all the seeds to just be random bag seeds! 2 of the plants are drying now 3rd one will be cut tomorrow & the other 2 got probably 2 more weeks! Will do a taste & smoke report and also give a weight as soon as they dry & cure a little bit but honestly couldn’t be happier with my first grow! The girls are fully in flower this week which of course is a GREAT sight to see when opening the tent. The smell in the tent is so sweet and fruity it's already making your mouth water!! So this week I feed the girls with a little of the living soil veg so they are still getting a helping hand. They were also given the living soil bloom and some barley which I will admit is the first time using it but so far me plus the girls are very much enjoying!! I have done the necessary light de-foliating on all 4 girls over the past 2 weeks and more LST. Happy toking guys and girls!! The molasses will give the microbial colony some additional food as well as supplying micro-nutrients to the plant. I finished out the daily maintenance giving her a check over and turning her pot 1/4 turn to ensure she gets light to every inch of her. 10/1- Yesterday was a 'no water' day as her pot was still fairly heavy to lift. Today she was watered with her usual of 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 72℉.
