Well shit..... Here is a reminder for everyone out there, calibrate your pH monitoring equipment on its recommended schedule! Of all the things to forget about. Sigh. My pH has been out of whack, looks like it was far to low and I have been effectively starving the plants of phosphorus. At least is what the leaves are starting to show, a definite deficiency. It was hard to see on the right plant at first as the purple hit the spots rather well. They just started turning necrotic in places. It really jumped out on the left plant and was easier to spot. It was reading 6.1 but was more like 5.2 Lesson learned, stay on top of that pH. I think it is time to retire these old Milwaukee MC120's in favor of some newer models. I could just replace the probes and double down on the calibration but I've had these things for nearly ten years now. I think sitting in that moderately humid environment has taken its toll on the internals. They aren't exactly made well. Oh well, these won't end up looking perfectly pretty in the end I guess. Given that I already wasn't to happy with the pheno, I'm not expecting much from these plants now.

I am pretty excited. 🙂. They are coming along nicely. The ladies arms are getting more and more swollen every day. The stretch has stopped. I have done some more defoliation (can't keep my hands away from the damn scissors. Lol). I will update throughout the week. 😎

One didn't get hit enough water from the sprinkler so it got stunted hard and had to go, the plan was to only do 2 this run so all good, I used this one in a breeding experiment and it recovered very well despite the conditions, but this is not part of this diary. Starting this week I will also add ORP and CF metrics, the ORP probe is not calibrated and values are to be taken with a grain of salt. Values are average of the day. Starting my first grow in the new tent with my first Mephisto seeds. Grabbed these from seedslocker a few months ago and they've been sitting in my seed vault in the fridge since. Popped them in a glass of water at 8pm on 10/18. Broke out the AC Infinity propagation system and added a bit of RO water to some coco pucks. About 24 hours later they sunk in the glass and had opened up a bit with root peaking out, so into the pucks they went on the evening of 10/19. No real movement on 10/20, turned the heat pad off because they were a little warm. Morning of 10/21 the Compound V I have in the propagator is popping and the pucks for the Fugue State seem to be moving a bit, I think they'll make their way out tonight. Opened vents on the dome to let them breathe a bit more. Fugue State all popping / on the cusp of popping by the early evening. Solid day of sprouting. 10/22 continued to develop as seedlings, one of the Fugue State is a bit stuck in it's shell, hoping it pops through soon. 10/23 transplanted into grow tent, working on dialing in humidity and temp. Dialed in lights at 1.5ft and level 2, checked with PAR meter and DLI calculator. #2 still stuck in it's shell, let's go little buddy! The tent has been stood up and cooking a bit w/ the lights blazing and a dehumidifier running to dry out our soil a bit. Had issues with fungus gnats last grow and I'm trying to prevent that this time. Ordered some beneficial nematodes as a line of defense and sprayed soil with a good soak of neem oil as a precaution after drying out. Sticky traps show no gnats so far. Soil is Coast Of Maine Stonington Blend Aeration Formula, a 70 / 30 Coco / Perlite blend that I've used before. I have Coast of Maine dry nutrients and Fox Farm liquid nutrients, will likely try to stick to the dry nutrients unless fungus gnats emerge again. Soil is in 5 gallon fabric pots. I added 2/3 cup of Stonington Blend Plant Food and 1/3 cup of Wiscasset Blend Earthworm Castings to each pot along with some Mycorrhizal Fungi spores and worked it in. I have been using the AC Infinity self watering bases but as I'm running 6 total plants this grow I've ordered the new Vivosun self watering bases to compare them.

Only 1 plant is flowering while other 2 still on veg witch is good Day 23 come along and I just start using bloom and topmax and try my best on lst training want to get max yield off each Plant finger crossed 🤞 Day 24 still not flowering for other 2plant witch it very good I'm not rush and I glad they can grow up to max yield Today i have mate around and he couldn't believe they only 24days from seed next week they will be double in size or even bigger will keep pic and video daily on this stage due very fast grow in preflowering Day 25 come along and she grow so fast guys when I wake up I check them I see alot different I feed them with silica on every watering till day 35 (when stop grow in size )this run be come very very big size of autoflower let see guys Day 26 I start bring down grow nuts and add more bloom I feed 1ml silica .5 calmag 2.5 bio grow 2ml bio heaven 2ml acti vera 1 alg amic 1ml bio bloom .5 top max I just use silica every other watering also I feed with the 1.5 L nut everyday Will reduce bio grow and then day 35 I'm going to stop feeling with grow

A bit of defoliation early in this week with some LST, looked a little shabby after but they bounced back within a day or so. Also installed up right fan to blow air under and over the plants and small dehumidifier. Loving these plants and learning how to grow.

I’m adding a timer to my exhaust fan so it won’t be running 24/7 I’ll set it to exhaust the dry room every 3 hours for a half hr. I have my dehumidifier running in there so it’s not going to get above the set level. My only concern is mold, considering I only ever lose a few grams each harvest from mold I figure I should be safe if my humidity stays under 50 from here on. Would have went a lot smoother if everything was done the same day because the humidity would gradually go down on its own while the buds dry out however I have been adding plants as they finish causing timing to be off. Would have liked to just check them every few days. Now I’ll have to check them daily knowing some will be dry before others. Bright side is that gives me a break from trimming. It’s only me trimming so it’s going to take me a while. Roughly 25 plants each with a few ounces so I hope it’s only around 2000 grams to trim by myself

Got pretty hot in the afternoons when ac crapped out finished outdoors for the last 2 weeks Hang dryed for 7 days at 60°60% now bagged

👉The calixs have gotten plump and not many fresh pistols are around, just the occasional on on each cola. Fox-tailing has been more pronounced and what looks like a see has appered at the tips of a couple of colas. I have not seen a hermie bit , but the plant is big and impossible to inspect very closely. I wont be able to get a better look at it until the gorilla is out of the tent and I can move the plant into the center and rotate it. The lowest leaves around the base have started yellowing between the veins. I'm sure I'm not finished with all the little issues this plant will show. The aroma is nice and sweet, hard to smell it over the intensely strong Gorilla glue, which I just finished harvesting. To touch the buds leaves a pine sol aroma that is typical. 👉I moved thru the 8 week mid bloom mix to the 9th week mid bloom mix on the General Hydroponics Drain to waste feed chart for the Flora series. I will move to the 10th week late bloom tomorrow. I have given two (I think...at least two) H2Only irrigations (always followed by full strength fertigations. I may move to the Ripen mix by the end of the week. I think I was expecting it to take a little longer but I may have been wrong. With the plant alone in the tent now I can rotate it again and get a better overal veiw of the plant. Many of the trichomes are already cloudy and this one may finish before the buds get very plump. But that's fine, they are super frosty and dense enough. The structure looks just what a sativa bud might look like, just needs to plump up a bit.

The buds are growing and the pistils started to turn brown. Watering as usual, see report in the pictures for more info. Now that I add more Bio-Bloom, the leaves seem quite well so I will continue and see what happens. I continued to remove some leaves here and there and will probably do that until the end. Plants have now reach their final heights, it's buds time :) This week, I made the daily pictures under the "VEG" light instead of the "BLOOM" light (see weeks 3 and 9 for more info about that). I think it's better and that's where the colour difference compared to the previous week comes from.

Well we have hit day 16 and that was a tough ride to say the least learning all the time .The light was to close had her at 22" inches but 34 " was the sweet spot as you can see she recovered quickly . Besides that I've been giving her nutrients and a foiler spray and am excited to see her next week , thanks for checking in canna family ...
