Off and running with some flowers starting to show up and swell. Had some nutrient deficiencies I had to address but looks like all is dialed in now. Started using Fish Shit and some Grow Big to help with deficiencies and this seems to have helped, but I will continue to monitor and update. 🌱🤙

Two of the main buds have some bud rot due to the high humidity of the 2 last days ... high humidity due to the fact that I am working without air extractor and box half open but I've closed my box for less than. 48h and when zinc opened it the wall were full of water drops ( more than drops ) To help with that issue I've done a defoliation to have a better air circulation around the buds even if it's not recommended to do it that far in flowering. I've also observed the trichomes and they are mostly cloudy with a few brown and like 40% of clear trichs : surprising as the looks like she may need 1 extra week or 2 before cutting

So i have finished LST by end of week 4 and did start with removing low budsights and branches below the cannopy so that i would get more likely big equal compact buds instead of the fluffy not so yum buds. I plan to not defoliate any more than i have right now, unless there's a leave throwing shade onto a potential big budsights i might remove the leave in order to get that budsight maximum light it could have. Growing really is a big learning curve, like by now i have learned so much about to tell signs of the health state of a plant. Like one plant got slightly yellow leave tips, because it got nutrient burnt probably. Like when i noticed the tips i kind of digged into plant health and telling health state by colour, appearance of the leave. Really starting to enjoy the process of growing, like adjusting LST bit by bit, starting to see rewards of it more and more. Also actuelly noticing things that werent the best decision which i can definetly improve on by the next grow. Cant wait to see the end results, i really hope i get terpenes on a decent level. Since for me it became such a enjoyable thing to just smoke weed that actually is tasting lovely

This week was a light defoliation on triple p and just both of them were given a watering of 6.2 pH water and then today's feeding was paged at 6.2 as well. The smell is getting stronger. Triple p still has a minty note up front and apple strudel. I still can't determine what it smells like. Stay tuned

Week 6 and my babies are still in veg 😥 but I'm sure next week they will finally flip! 😁 Now, what can I say about the girl that's on the back? - She has some really long leaves and those stems are thin if I compare them to other plants I've grown. - Some of her leaves look too shiny, dunno why! - The internodes are really short, which is good and she's VERY bushy. Perhaps she went thru some kind of deficiency and that's why she looks like that? Or maybe it's something else? No idea! The other hand, the other baby: - She's developing really well. Ahead of her sister and I'm sure she'll be the first one to flip! I mean, it looks like she's already developing some pre-flowers! :D - She's a little taller compared to her sister - The internodes are short and the leaves are huge! They are also slightly darker compared to her sister. I reinforced the LST on both of my girls and I both tucked the leaves (a lot) and defoliated the plants just a little. Here we go... week 2! Everything went pretty smoothly during germination and week 1. I'm starting to think about nutrients, as i do plan to start feeding, VERY lightly, sometime this coming week. I figure my soil should probably be okay for 3-4 weeks but i'm going to be feeding only 2 of the 3 plants starting in week 2. I'll start feeding the 3rd plant in week 3. I want to see if there's any difference or problems that arise. Day 8: - Temp: 74-80F - RH: 68-71% - no water, reduced exhaust fan speed to 10% at night due to colder outdoor temperature. Day 9: - Temp: 72F-79F - RH: 62-69% - lightly watered with de-chlorinated tap water Day 10: I've now desgnated the plants as "L-1", "L-2" and "L-3", based on their germination and seedling stage growth, with "L-1" being the most vigorous. - Temp: 72-76F - RH: 65-68% - Lightly watered "L-2" and "L-3" with a very weak nutrient mixture using Remo Nutrients' "Micro", "Grow", "Velokelp" and "MagNifiCal". Remo's feeding chart recommends 6ml/gal for week 2. I used .5ml/.5gal... 1/6th the recommended dose. - "L-1" was watered with just dechlorinated tap water. - Both adjusted to pH6.5 Day 11: - Temp: 69-76F - RH: 62-68% - No water - added sticky traps for fungus gnats, which have afflicted one of my girlfriend's orchids in our house. We've quarantined the orchid and will be giving our houseplants a few doses of BTI. Crossing my fingers that they don't cause me any issues in the tent! Day 12: - no signs of fungus gnats in tent - Temp: 69-77F - RH: 62-68% - No water Day 13: - no signs of fungus gnats in tent - turned humidifier off - ambient RH is about 60% - Temp: 69-77F - noticing leaf edges curling. Possibly due to high RH and/or over-watering. - Calibrated pH meter. Was off by +0.3 pH. - Watered lightly with pH adjusted tap water @ 6.4pH Day 14: - No water - Replaced the 24" Sunblaster T5HO fixture with a 24" Sunblaster LED, which now makes two of them. I plan on switching the 6400K T5 bulb with a 2700K bulb in the T5HO fixture. Once flowering starts, I'll pull out the two 6400K LED fixtures and put in the 2700K T5 fixtures (I still need to pick up one more T5 fixture so that i have two, which i'll be placing at either end of my 2x4 tent as supplemental lighting). - Distance to canopy (24w Sunblaster LED): 12" - Distance to canopy (HLG Elite 360): 24" - Elite 360 Light Intensity: 35%

Hey everyone! Do-Si-Dos ladies are growing inside the grow tent now and under a 250w HID, which is a HPS since my MH bulb burnt. They are growing very strongly, fast and healthy. With a decent thick stock for their age I believe. This genetics are very strong, so far no problems, no stunt growth. Made a 4-way topping, where you must leave 2 nodes only. The plant had around 6 nodes before topped. Will start LST on branches and shape them for the scrog I might apply later. They leave a sweet smell scent in the air. Roots are also growing pretty fast. This girl was a treat to grow. A little scary when I first broke her branch but she recovered well. She is pungent and quick to stink up a room. Covered in trichomes. I have sifted her trim for kief and it was very flavorful through my vaporizer. She is a couple rh% points away from curing. Can't wait until I get to really smoke/vape and enjoy her. She was so delightful that I decided to do a really slow dry and cure. All is well :)
