Partial reset on this girl who is obviously stunted and struggling. Not all strains are created equal and experience combined with skill goes a long way. So, taking my lumps with this girl. So, long story short, I reduced the ppm by draining and replacing 2.5 gallons of ph'd RO w/cal-mag added. This resulted in bringing down the ppm to roughly 500 w/ph at around 5.6. Will continue to monitor ph, ppm, and water levels for the remainder of this week looking for stabilization. At that point, I will gradually raise the ppm levels. If she doesn't make it back before TKO is ready to flip, I may need to scrap her given limited space. Come on girl, let's go... Midweek 4 update: Well, time has come for a decision. I moved the PBCRbx over to the 3x3 grow tent, so I can continue to care for her. Clear case of too much nutrients (high ppm levels) that have stunted early stage veg growth. Tried monitoring and adjusting ph twice a day but ppm remained higher than range resulting in fan leave tips looking burnt. Also some nutrient lock out occurring. Given ppm remaining high and water level dropping, I decided it was time to do a complete flush. Emptied and thoroughly cleaned bucket, air stone, and air line exposed in bucket. RO water with cal-mag and nutrients ph'd to 5.5 w/ppms at roughly 625. A day after flushing, the PBCRbx is looking a lot better. As a back up, I am running a separate PBCRbx by Ethos in a 3 gal fabric of coco peat, which is doing very well.

I'm trying to bend the plant to the right, but the stem is very thick and powerful, and I'm afraid of breaking it, so I'm letting it grow at almost 45 degrees

Did a jump start tea, 3 feeds of cutting edge solutions. For past 4 weeks have Found one adult spider mite per week, and destroyed eggs on the leaf's bottom with the white spots. I have no clue where they came from never had them before. I live next to a river and it is spider season so the normal spiders have been hunting the mites just becasue they are attracted to the lights at night. I don't see the mites as a threat and I'm not going to spray for them I might try to make a ladybug farm if I see more.

Another week has brought loads of new healthy grow with it. This plant is an absolute Queen!! It is just a little maintenance from here on out. 😎🍿🍻

All started to flower and the stretch begins! Lost a few tops with training. I will opt for just topping instead of LST (too time consuming) Will start slowly dropping nitrogen and increase phosphorous and potassium with some molasses! Last two shots are of last bit of LST and leaf tucking/defoliating

Got a new light this week, it's basically a HLG 260 R-Spec except locally manufactured using the same Samsung LEDs. Big Mumma got her 60x60cm tent today and will go in there under one Viparspectra 300W blurple (130w from the wall). I trimmed her, super cropped her main stem and added a scrog net in preparation of flowering her in the next couple of days. Because my other plants were getting up past 75cm after 7 days of flower (100cm is my absolute max) , I decided to supercrop the canopy back down to about 60-65cm - it was pretty scary and I definitely broke the outer stem on some of them. Also gave them a good trim. Fortunately most bounced back strong the next day which are the most up-to-date photos you see (17/4/20).

The first 30 days have come and gone. The stretch is finished, and my most favorite time of the flower process begins, where it actually starts looking like real buds instead of white hairs. The final few weeks are here only a few more to go.

Nearing the end. Defoliated and pulled apart the mass of buds that had all grown into a single main cola. I didn't notice but there were multiple buds all cramed together, blocking out light to the inside. After pulling them apart and carefully tying them down I have been able to increase the airflow, trichome, and overall size while also decreasing the excess nitrogen that had built up in those cramped bud sites. Did all this about 5 days ago and ahe is getting even better. Just a few days left. Also, I cut off a little piece yesterday just cause I'm so desperate. Lol. Next update will be harvest!

Day 43 Lowered grow dose Increased bloom & top max Replaced rhino skin with big bud buds are stacking nicely, pistils are exploding, and frost is coming in. All 3 plants showing slight stress which I believe is from the strong 600w HPS light. Nothing of concern, however not a lot I can do as light is already as full height, however Will Increase air flow more upward. Day 44 Frost has arrived. Bud sites really started to fill out now. Drinking 3L every 1.5 days. Last feed was no grow as wanna cut back on N, and a 50% feed of other nutrients to reduce nute burn. Very happy with progress so far.

Grow Journal Week Zero : Special Project Kickoff 🌱 Hello dear growers and growerettes, I’m thrilled to start this new grow journal, featuring a special project that I'm incredibly excited about. Here are all the details for Week 1: Plant Details The plants are already 9 weeks old when transplanted and have been kept alive through careful repotting. They are topped and include 3 plants of the Banana Krumble feminized strain from Greenhouse Seeds. 🌿🍌 Tent Setup I’m placing them in a 90x90x200 cm tent. They will be in 20 liter fabric pots filled with Living Soil from Florganics. Watering will be managed by the Blumat system, which works particularly well with my living soil, as the soil needs to be kept constantly moist. 💧 Soil Additions Nematodes were added to the soil while mixing the living soil, not during transplanting. Control System Everything is monitored by my TrolMaster Tent-X system, thanks to TrolMaster, who kindly provided me with the controller. This system also controls and dims my lights. Therefore, I’ve decided to go back to basics: only one strain in the tent to refine my skills. 🌱 To focus more on one thing, I chose the Blumat system, which works particularly well with my living soil as it needs to stay constantly moist. During my last Automatic run, I introduced the plants around week 4, which was not the best decision. It was too early, so I had to top them to keep them small, leading me to practice mainlining. I succeeded with one plant, but learned a lot from the other two without any serious damage. After 6-7 weeks of growth under truly wild conditions in terms of VPD and stress, they were finally moved into their 20-liter Living Soil fabric pots and the humidity and temperatures were adjusted. Weekly Progress This journal starts in week 9. The ladies have perfectly adapted to the soil and recovered well in the 2 weeks since being placed in Living Soil. I will create a timelapse of the flowering phase; due to the above-mentioned conditions, it wasn't possible during the vegetative phase. At times, I was really worried about the ladies, but they seem to be recovering. I am excited to see what this run will yield.
