Day 78 - pheno 1 was cut down, id normally hang dry the whole plant but decided to do it in branches instead. Second pheno has been left in darkness as i haven't had the time to cut. Pheno one is hung up and drying.. Room Humidity 60/60. As soon as she's dry enough I'll finish trimming her up. Then put them into jars. Might use boveda 60% packs but I'll see. Smells strong! Hey folks! ✌️ I was sick for a whole week and skipped last week's update, but I've got some exciting things to share with you now. At the time of this post, we're on day 53 of flowering. While I was down with a fever, the plants suffered a bit due to drying out. The big one was hit the hardest. As soon as I started feeling better, I watered them, but the big plant experienced some gnarly salt buildup. Both plants were emergency flushed, and now the situation is more than good. During this time, the male plants were actively producing pollen, which I collected. I've decided that I have enough pollen for future experiments, so today I culled the males to ease the workload. In my small tent, the LSD auto by Barney's Farm is flowering. I might pollinate one branch to see what happens. The big plant is struggling with the weight of its branches, knocking its neighbors' heads (it even broke off some male branches!). I've tied the heavy branches to wire supports attached to the main stem. Now I can clearly see the seeds forming and maturing. I'll keep the plants until the seeds start dropping onto the floor. The plants have fully recovered and are feeling great. For nutrients, I'm using AB at 40ml per 5l with an PPM of 1695 and pH of 6.1. Day 91 - Started week 14 off with 2 gallons of plain pH’d water. It’s looking like this will probably be her final week and she’ll get the chop this coming weekend. I’m still thinking I’m not going to do a full harvest, I’ll chop the main buds and such and see if I can get the lower popcorn shit to fatten up. This is one of the best plants I’ve grown to date and want to maximize as much of her as I can. Day 92 - She’s getting really close now, I can almost taste her. Thinking about chopping most of here either Friday or Saturday. Buds are nice and dense and wanna get the lower popcorn to fill in after chopping the main colas. Not seeing much for amber trichs but there’s a few in there and she’s all cloudy other than that. Day 93 - Gave her 2 more gallons of plain water today and that will probably be it. She will be getting chopped this weekend and gonna let her dry completely up before cutting. Starting to show quite a bit of amber trichs so she’s ready, just holding out till Friday.

The Afghani x Mac1 auto from DNA recovered well from the training and is in full bloom. Bud sites are looking great. Had an issue with humidity this week and the leaves started looking rough. She got a dose of Recharge this week and drinks about 8-12oz of water throughout each day. All in all she's trucking right along. Very happy with how smooth this solo cup grow is going.

So far, so good. The Dr amazingly grows similar sized buds above the light level as she grows buds behind the lights. Buds are small in general. I fertigate her once a day, 0.4 g/L of the base fertilizer. Inflow conc is 550 ppm (ca,. 1100 uS/cm), and I think I may be slightly underfertilizing. I plan to raise the concentration 150 ppm within two weeks and see if she tolerates that amount. What's fantastic in these long flowering strains, that it seems one has all the time in the world to plan and make changes, in the end, there's so much time to recuperate in case of an inconvenience! Day 107 (29-12) It consoles me that even the infortunate grow disadventures of mine with this "stretchy sativa" I think the journey will turn out successful. Let's some in April! (perhaps somewhat earlier, I dunno) If not for yields, which I reckon thwy may not be as large as I wanted (if for big yield was the original intention of growing this strain I wouldn't grow this one specially -which is know not ot be a big yielder, it was the desire of the experience of growing this noble and beautiful landrace (heirloom) sativa. by myslef...and I have 4 more seeds ;) I raised EC with 0.5 g/L Bloom fertilizer per liter solution, keeping all the other ingredients constant, in concentration and order of mixing. Every day I have the extra work of inspecting the colas to see whether they are being damaged by heat and eventually apart them from the cobs, etc., but in general, I thank God this could have been even much worse. Luckily she resists both the high indoor temperatures (31 ºC by this date, when outside temperatures are of that order), and pro-silicate additive may have been useful to resist heat, as Grotek claims.

Für Pheno2 (B2) hat die letzte Woche begonnen bei Pheno 1 bin ich mir noch nicht ganz sicher. Hoffe immer noch das mir viel Müsli erspart bleibt. Die Blüten glitzern jedenfalls herrlich und duften sehr streng fast wie ein cheese. Oder evt. extrem überreife Bananen? Gelernt habe ich aus diesem Grow: Temperaturen über 50°C finden die Keimlinge nicht so nett!!! 🙄 Es könnte sein, daß sie es sich bis in die Blüte gemerkt, und aufgrund dessen auch ein paar männliche Blüten gebildet haben.
