A lot more happening this week! As shown in the pics, and as suspected, I have a manganese deficiency. I've been keeping my pH level at 6.2 in coco, manganese is taken up best by the plant below 6.0 pH. Dropping my ph level to 5.8 pH, and flushing with lower pH, hopefully it will solve the issue over the course of a few days. I made a new frame for a SCROG, with a "custom bend" in the CPVC pipe on both ends. The bend will allow me to take advantage of the slack material in the sides of my 4x4 tent. I'd previously taken 4" out of all the upright poles to shorten the tent so it would fit in the room due to low ceilings, meaning I had extra slack in my tent walls. The bend in the net frame pushes the sides of the tent out to 5 foot wide. My first SCROG net was a 6" mesh from Amazon, immediately knew I wanted a smaller mesh. Next time around I built my own with a 4" mesh and used the 4" for several grows. This time I decided to go with an even smaller, 3" mesh, and already I like it better. I don't really see myself going much smaller than 3" mesh though. It seems to work well, and any smaller and it may be too tight trying to work the plant through the opening sometimes, which if not careful, will damage the plant. I usually use a & gal cloth pot, grow off rules stated we 0had to use a 5 gal pot. Seeing as I only had 7 gal on hand, I was stuck picking up a Root Farm 5 gal cloth pot locally, as you can see, the roots didn't really stay contained, nor did they "air prune", i had to tear them off before installing the net above. On the last day of week 6 I finally got my net installed, and the plant SCROGged. I should have put the net in place a week or two earlier, it would have been easier to manipulate the plant, however the plant will still have a week to recover. I tie the net in place above the plant, and slowly lower it down, as I bend and super crop the main stalk over parallel to the net, and work all the branches underneath and spread them out. As the plant grows I'll continue to push branches back down through the net and moving them out to the next hole. This will greatly increase yields by allowing light to more bud sites, keeping all buds the same height and thus the same distance from the light. small budsites on a vertical branch, will transform into their own cola once the branch is laid on its side. Instead of a Christmas tree type of plant, with one large main cola, and smaller and smaller buds as you move further down the plant, you end up with a bunch of colas that are all close to the same size, and more importantly, the same level of maturity. The SCROG method, combined with super cropping, and defoliation has greatly increased my yields. As the plant is getting worked into the net, I'll defoliate where necessary, ie a huge fan leaf covering bud sites, however for the next several weeks I'll be defoliating so mush every night or two, systematically trimming off all fan leaves, and stripping everything below the net, and any small bud sites that wont produce well. Usually by the time I'm half way through the flower stage there are no big fan leaves left to be found. It helps with light penetration, which results in a higher quality, higher quantity yield, as well as airflow, which will help prevent White Powdery Mildew and other molds etc. Once a fan leaf is 14 days old, its ability to photosynthesize light, starts to degrade. Once it reaches a certain point, the leaf drains more energy from the plant, than it's giving the plant. My best yields have been from heavily defoliated plants, my last grow I couldn't physically defoliate quite as heavily as usual, and I ended up about 25-30% less bud than expected

In the beginning of this week ( Monday in the late afternoon) I started seeing some burnt tips. Not really a big deal if you give less nutrients in the future, but i don't like it. Thats why i decided to flush my plants and check the run-off. PH levels where decent but the EC was to high. Not a suprise because I forced them a bit last week by giving some more nutrients. So right now my PH and EC for the kushes are arround PH 5.8-6 with 1.3-1.5 EC and for my shamans PH 6.3-6.4 with ec 1.5-1.6 After my flush, I gave all the plants some Canna RHIZOTONIC ( root stimulator). I advice everyone to give root stimulator after stressing the plant out with like flushing. In this grow i always weight my pots, therefor i always know when to perfectly feed them. They dronk 9 to 10 liters of water/feeding in like 96hours(4 full days) which is insane because it wasn't that sunny/hot (evaporation) and they are not trees being in the open ground. and maybe the most importent thing is that normaly your roots will stress a bit because of overwatering(flushing) and will go into a shutdown or having a hard time for a period as a result that your pots will stay heavy(full of water) for some days. In my case, this didn't happen at all. Wednesday I sprayed all the leafs with Canna Cure for some nice leaf nutrients,getting rid of minor trips and to prevent other unwanted renters. Friday I started feeding them again with nutrients, like 2-3 liters each plant and today I gave them water 2-3 liters each plant with only Enzymen in it. It was a crazy thirsty week for them with an average of 1.6-1.7 liters a day😅 Sadly one lower branch got damaged and had to get rid of it but I didn't mind that much since these buds where far behind other buds in developement. I placed one bud under the microscope for fun and saw insane amounts of thc on it haha, and that for just week 5 of flowering for a outside grow. Made a picture of it, just take a look at it. - Critical kushes started getting into preflower, finnally!! but still, only 6 weeks left before it gets to cold outside. - Did some LST again because the criticalkushes are still stretching. They might still stretch for another 1 to 2 weeks, its getting out of hand haha. - Shamans and the critical kushes get different feeding schedules, Should had done that waaaaay earliyer but I didn't care about it until now. - Forgot to supercrop my plants LOL, for the shamans it is to late, don't want to stress them out in their stage, but i did in on the kushes, since they are only 1 week in flowering, still growing a bit, it would't harm them that much. No need for steering them around, already done that. Just doing it to stress them out a bit so they will send more nutrients to the branches for bigger yield. Have to keep remind myself that this is just an outside fun grow but I just can't help myself buying stuff and wanting to do more/better. Hope you guys enjoyed watching and reading.

Ok so I chopped her.... I had too.... as I found rot in Blue Gelato, I knew she could have some... and I was right. Sometimes I hate being right... lately more often than not. But on a good note. She really only had a little 2 or 3 buds I don't remember... Trimmed lightly and hung to dry... I have to run a dehumidifier due to all the rain.. I have only been getting 10 hrs of sun total, I realised now.. normally i use supplemental light in the winter and i grow autos usually. But I'm always changing crap... and forgetting what I should do when... so really fuck it.. I will keep flowering with 10 hrs of light. I will have to figure something out soon if I'm going to grow outside this year..

Hi Growers. Everything is going well. Earlier this week I did another super light feeding, the same as last week. I raised the light to 50” and increased the light to 80% and will adjust accordingly per plant and environmental needs. I did notice a bit of yellowing on the PE and yesterday decided to do a stronger feed and go from there. I don’t want them starving and getting stressed into flower. After the first light feeds they popped up nicely so I’m interested to see how they like the higher feed. Environment wise, I turned on the oscillating fan to just help them strengthen their stocks and branches and still have the humidifier on. Temps & RH are good, no hot temp is a bit cool but it’s only 4 hrs. What week do you growers start training autos?? I’m starting node 5. Thanks for stopping, leave a like or comment if you’d like. Diese Farben bei der LCC sind schon crazy fast schon schwarz, und die terps werden immer intensiver. Die living soil von Sonnenerde arbeitet sehr gut und wir müssen nur calmag hinzugeben. These colors in the LCC are crazy, almost black, and the terps are getting more and more intense. The living soil from Sonnenerde works very well, and we only need to add Calmag.

Currently in the 9th day of Flower and the buds are starting to form nicely. I am spotting a small zinc deficiency on the leaves, the colour inside the leaf is light greenish. The PH was a bit too high and last week also might overdid it with the nutes. Solution for now is down the PH day by day till I reach 5.8 and then let it rise up again slowly. Lets see how the new leaves will form and the bud thickens. Smell is really great, strong pungent and exotic.

24/01/2024 Spread her out! Time for the show. Welcome to my "Barrel Of Laughs" look what shes grown in lol 25/01/2024 Lights on and moved the pot to the left side of the tent, then sorted out the canopy with the scrog! Fed her with extra seaweed to the mix. Unfortunately, she got burnt. I made the mistake of moving the light too close, overfeeding, and overusing 12% food-grade hydrogen peroxide. Conclusion: Well, onwards and upwards! I need to sort this out. Since I used hydrogen peroxide, flushing is a bad idea. I don't want to reactivate what's settled in the leaves and soil until it's no longer active. I removed all the badly damaged leaves, likening it to a necessary amputation, but luckily I'm at the early stages of flower. I'll keep a close eye on her. 25/01/2024 Mid-day Not looking good; the new growth is the same after the flush. 25/01/2024 Lights out! Can't believe I spoiled the grow, but she'll hopefully recover. The lights, particularly the sk600 and Cropmaster, are too intense and powerful. I'm wiring up a dimmer switch to reduce it to 420 watts. The Cropmaster will be removed until maturity as having over 1000 watts of LED in a small tent is too much. 26/01/2024 Mid-day Check Time! She's looking a lot better. Taking photos is a good calf workout and lower back exercise when shooting at 0.6x at 12m. There are positives to all the negative occurrences during the growing, raising, and breeding of these plants. Weed can inspire creativity, debate, contemplation, and intelligence. It's important to focus on the positive aspects these plants can bring. 26/01/2024 Temps are more normal now since removing the Cropmaster, which was very powerful. The dimmer didn't work due to incorrect volts, but I managed to reduce the light to 10% today by tapping its relay wires. Mid-day: Looking a bit better. I sorted a few branches out to rearrange and ensure they will grow straight. Allowing the plant to stretch freely. Will need to reposition a few colas as needed but expecting smooth sailing from here onward. I've definitely underestimated the level of care and attention this strain requires, especially when it comes to feeding. This is a valuable lesson to keep in mind for my future growing endeavors. In addition, I'll seek out alternatives to the wire support I've been using, to eliminate any potential sources of contamination for the plant. Bueno , este es el segundo cultivo que realizó del la cepa "Waka" , el anterior lo tengo igualmente documentado en otro diario . en esta ocasión cultivamos los clones que habíamos recolectado del cultivo pasado , guardando los fenotipos que nos gustaron más y los clones restantes los pasamos a floración que fueron los que se le hizo seguimiento en este diario. El crecimiento fue bastante explosivo y reaccionaron muy bien a cada trasplante realizado . pude observar que los clones de cada fenotipo seleccionado se desarrolló con mucha similitud al de sus madres . El olor en vegetación es bastante discreto y en floración se pone un más intenso El desarrollo en floración fue explosivo generando bastante resina y se vieron muy hambientras . Al fumar se puede sentir un rico toque cítrico en las N° 4 se siente un fuerte sabor a limón en algunas flores mucho mas marcado que en otras, N° 3 y 13 un agradable toque a naranjas muy rico de sentir en el paladar , La N° 8 con pizcas dulces bastante interesantes. El humo al fumar es muy suave lo que permite sentir mejor el sabor de cada fenotipo.- saludos y buenos humos😉 Al momento de cosechar se cortaron los clone y se dejo secando en oscuridad a temperatura ambiente por cerca de 16 días posterior a eso se pasó a curar en frascos

A week on everything is going ok. The mutant is still hanging in there doing its own thing with growth. The other two are coming along nicely, the smaller one is very uniform and has good structure to it. The bigger one is just a beast! Growth is rapid and the shape is nice. She drinks a lot more than the other two. Getting the second light was a good idea based on the umol m2 (572 with both switches on).

Auch diese Woche verlief wieder recht entspannt. Die Pflanze weist momentan keine Mängel- oder Stresserscheinungen auf. Die ersten Tage der Woche durfte sie sich noch von den vorangegangenen Entlaubungen und dem neuen LST erholen. An Tag 46 lagen die Triebspitzen einheitlich bei einer Höhe von 19-20cm und die Beleuchtung wurde auf 12/12 umgestellt. Tag 47 war dann der erste komplette Tag mit dem neuen Lichtzyklus und zählt ab hier der Einfachheit halber als BT1, auch wenn ich diese Woche hier noch als Wachstumswoche eintrage. Das ist mein erster Grow mit dieser Genetik, aber ich hoffe auf einen Stretch von ungefähr 150%. Zum Ende der Woche lagen die acht Haupttriebe nach nur leichten LST-Korrekturen relativ gleichmäßig bei etwa 22 cm. Der Stretch scheint damit langsam einzusetzen, die Struktur bleibt bisher aber noch sehr homogen. Das sie vor allem mit der Umstellung des Lichtzyklus anfing ziemlich durstig zu werden, wurde diese Woche insgesamt 3 mal gegossen. Dabei habe ich begonnen, das Düngeschema langsam in Richtung Blütephase zu verschieben. Hierzu wird sukzessive der Fish-Mix durch Bio Grow ersetzt und zusätzlich kommen CalMag, Bio-Bloom und Top-Max hinzu. 1. Mit der Qualität der Webcamaufnahmen bin ich zunehmend unzufrieden und werde diese eventuell in den nächsten Tagen durch ein etwas neueres Modell ersetzen.

This strain is beautiful. It loved the LST and grew very well without any problem. Today I lollipopped her, so now the plant can concentrate all her energies on the top colas. The colas are just beautiful, and the smell is soo good, the best I have ever smelt.

Unfortunately I'm not going to harvest much off these girls.

Z-Up is looking healthy and about to start stretching soon🌿 Doing some daily defoliation just 2–3 leaves a day to let the lower parts get more light☀️

So insomnia won out N I finally got round to topping the plant to try a style of mainlining. Ive lolly-popped the bottom and left 3 nodes untill topping the main stalk. I then topped all lowers aswell. Lets see how she heals,as her stalk was hollow😫Fingers crossed N see how she bounces back with the CO2 from the Enhancer N Shogun Fretlisers.
