Grow Diary Update: Week 5 - Pre-Flowering and LST Evaluation Entering Pre-Flowering Stage At the end of last week, the first pistils appeared, marking the beginning of the pre-flowering stage for my plants 🙌 There's much to manage now. To support optimal stretching, I've adjusted the nutrients following 2/3 of the Terra Aquatica feeding schedule: CalMag: 2 ml/l (Starting EC before adding nutrients: 0.45 mS/cm) Grow: 1.33 ml/l Bloom: 1.0 ml/l Micro: 1.33 ml/l The nutrient solution now has an EC of 1.3 mS/cm (638 ppm PPM-500/TDS) with a pH of 6.1. These adjustments aim to promote vigorous growth and prepare the plants for flowering. Weather and Growth With significant weather improvements, my plants are thriving at full speed. Every centimeter gained now counts towards maximizing the final yield, turning around from the challenging weeks prior. Pest Management I'm fortunate not to have encountered pests like spider mites, aphids, or thrips. However, the persistent snail issue remains. Nightly patrols with a flashlight have been effective, and placing old lettuce leaves away from the plants has helped trap and remove snails, ensuring the plants remain undisturbed. LST Experiment Results The two plants I trained with LST have responded admirably, showing healthy adaptation to the bending and vigorous growth. Yet, I'm at a crossroads regarding the upcoming stretch phase: should I continue to tie down branches to maintain an even canopy or allow natural upward growth to potentially boost vertical yield? Week 2 of flower and they have grown fast. Incorporated flower fuel and calimagic into their watering. Definitely getting a bigger tent. They are about to explode I can tell. I had one grow too tall and started to burn from the light so I'm trying to learn more about scrog and hst to help this grow flourish. I also removed a few fan leaves that were dying and some others to allow more light to the bottom.

Unfortunately, the plants have numerous leaves which look unhealthy (discolored, droopy, crispy/decayed). I removed the 3-4 worst looking leaves from each plant every other day, although I know that can be harmful to autos. Started adding in "Sensi Cal" this week to hopefully rebound from potential mineral deficiencies. Still using Recharge microbes once a week. Nutrients are now being administered accurately and at 1/4 the recommended level. Despite the unhealthy state of the plants, the pre-flowering bud sites look pretty good to me. I'm happy to see healthy looking pistils. Needless to say, I'm very eager to get these girls back on track and looking vibrant and verdant ASAP.

6. Woche So langsam legt sie mit dem Stretch für die Bloom los. Jetzt wirds in nächster Zeit interessant zu Beobachten, wie sie sich entwickeln wird. Auf das Training hat sie gut reagiert und jetzt darf sie sich die Zeit für die Bloom nehmen 😊

I Did 5 in paper towel and 3 directly in dirt so far 4 out of 5 in paper towel 2 out of 3 in soil both in cool dark place. I will check remaining two in a few days ILGM GSCE AUTO

Day 43 - I have started LST as this plant i know won't grow much in height, im gonna use it to teach myself techniques/perfect a technique. I hope ive done a decent job of it. Excited to see what happens over next few days. Day 44 - im very proud of my little plant. It looks so strong after the first day of LST. Definitely surprised with the results. Day 45 - Plant seems to be adjusting just fine to LST i do keep checking it. There is a bit of leaves overcrowding to pne side. I will probably have to move if i can! Day 46 - I'm thinking if i need to do more LST or just leave it now to grow. Day 47 - the plant is really starting to woden out and stretch as well. I need to see when it will flower it looks like it might do soon. Day 48 - The plant looks well. I believe she has started to flower so i really have to get my fan and filter asap. Day 49 - She defo started flowing and i just bent ome stem to allow more space between each other ;But they looks really good. Also entering another competition can't win if you don't partake.

La cantidad de agua cada 48h entre riegos. Esta semana añadimos nutrientes de la gama Agrobeta. Las plantas están bastante bien subió algo la temperatura esta semana pero por el momento no les afectó, a ver si consigo bajar un poco la temperatura estas próximas semanas y acabamos todo bien. Estas próximas semanas veremos como avanzan y como engordan las flores. Just gave alil recharge so far , besides having some water issues here (tap got funky funky) but had some rv water filters plopped onto the tap and all is in range ec/ph wise now. Issue averted atleast i caught it, got in the habit of checking PPM of the tap everytime just to be sure (I aerate 5gal of tap water as I use it to mix whicheve stuff I maybe using aswell. That's about the only major thingy that really happened. I am seeing some leaf variegation I hope it's nothing more serious havnt had any tmv before so I'll be keeping a tight eye. Fingers crossed tho, I do have a second started that was gonna ne ran without plagron but if she's sick I got a back up. Mar 24: Watering till runoff now... runoff ppm was 2500+... Will be using very mild nutes to flush over 1 - 3 feeds... or until I am near my input. Mar 26: Continuing to use 650ppm feed with bloom focus, 2L per plant gives 15% runoff... Runoff ppm is still very high... I wanted to check pH of runoff but the color is so vibrant i cant use the pH drops to view color, need to get a pH probe. Plants are thriving, no issues at all. the extra fan fixed the post-water droop. One plant is bushy and has the most bud sites, One is the smallest but has the most uniform structure, this one has the biggest buds and thickest stalk, One is about in the middle of the 2. Mar 29: one of these girls gets droopy early when its time for water, thought the canopy was too high so i tied down some more, no cigar... gonna try increasing calmag, if that doesent work im going to reposition in the grow box to a side instead of middle, may not need the upper end ppfd...

Propa first week of flower finish. I change light shedule and now girls have propa night not like before there was a bit of light leaking when they supposed to sleep. This learn me if they sleeping it has to be 100 % of darkness. We learn all our life 🤙
