25 and 28 days from planting. A couple of days before, I started cutting off the large leaves. Today I started doing LST. Perhaps I was a little hasty with this, but we'll see. The temperature problem has been resolved. Watering is carried out every 3 days. For the entire volume of the pot.

This week continues with nice flowering with strong smell. One plant is light green, I don't know why. I also added on more light to my grow tent.

Medium: Look, I love coco/soil, organic/synthetic just as much as anyone. I’ve never really hated on any particular method and each has its uses depending upon the environment. That being said.... hydro is likely to be the predominant indoor method for us going forward. It ticks all the boxes that the average hobby grower is looking for. Maintenance is generally pretty easy, while I’ve found myself monitoring ph and tds more frequently, I’m still only mixing nutes once a week instead of three. The hassle factor is crazy mitigated here👍. From a sustainability perspective, nute consumption is wayyyy down, saving more dolla bills y’all! Added bonus is that veg. Growth rates are just insanely fast. From the moment she popped her head out to the start of week 4, this girl was fimmed, pruned, trained and flipped. She put out a full oz. more than the 6 week(v) mainline beside er😳. Now that is just straight amazing😎. The key advantages - BIG F$&K’N YIELDS and auto pilot care for up to 2 weeks. It is a little bit of a tricky medium but once you dial in the ratios - smooth sail’n the whole grow. I can focus on training/maintenance instead of feeding🤟🤟. If there’s a drawback to DWC it would be that I’d have concerns about leaving it for more than a couple days when she’s in full flower. They just drink so much that It’s a constant top off. All told, far and away the most effective and economical medium we’ve used😎. Method 🎚️🎚️🎚️🎚️🎚️ Under this COB light system, the best method to date has definitely been a mainline. It’s got so much canopy penetration that we’re pulling down 16” long colas packed with well developed buds. Here’s where strain, medium and method kinda collide though. This girl was on a hurry up and go schedule. We lost the first one to root rot and had to get this one off the ground and mature before the cycle sched. Was gonna flip. Not to mention it was totally screwing with our spring nursery timing too. She was fimmed once and then splayed with LST. Not much either - just enough to get er spread apart a little. So you combine ultra fast growth rates of hydro with a big yield strain like this on a fast paced training method that limits required recovery times... and you get this monster. Just a perfect grow that anyone would be extremely happy with. We used frozen water bottles In the res. twice a day throughout the grow. My issues with light leaks and temps are well documented and I’m constantly running up against one or the other as a hurdle. This plant was no different and she started to re-veg. In the last few days prior to chop. All due to a light leak from the cabinet beside this one that was running on an 18/6. Gonna have to plug some light holes prior to next grow. Other than that - she was amazing and the method here is getting an unusually high and very rare 5/5.😳 Yield/Harvest🌴🌴🌴🌴 The final number is just so sweet. 6.04oz and she veg’d less than a month. Overall, I could confidently say that’s both faster and better than most typical autos in general😳😎👍👌. Any time your rock’n out 5+oz is a good haul but in this kinda time frame - that’s just crazy. We let her go just a little longer (again, as per Spliff’s direction) and it was worth the extra patience. She’s dense as all hell and a nice add to the stash🤟. The Sensi Seeds Research breeding project has created eleven cannabis seed varieties. How? By combining new cannabis cultivars with a selection of strains from their long-established cannabis gene bank. For the first time in thirty-six years, they are opening the doors of the Sensi Seeds Research and Development Department. Week #7 Plants are growing, needed to give them all the space available and had to switch on all the lights ! It’s full Veg mode now. I will ScrOG them next week, this might be a 9 weeks Veg, will see how they grow into the screen during the next week. Still thinking about the room with 4 x Mars-Hydro SP250, I could be able to save energy and to gain more light ! No nootz this week, just plain pH’d water, the Product-X is doing his job and the BIO Soil is alive. (I’m looking for a job in the Cannabis industry as Master Grower, Mineralogist, Quality Control)

Saturday 23.05 Day 65 Beginning of week 10 video.👍🌱 Monday 25.05 Day 67 Smell is improving still. Cheese cookies still going to be the last to finish but it's really packing on some weight, I sense true indica genes so hopefully now too the cheese side. Sweet cheese is lots of little bud clusters but smells the best and by far the most trichs. Six shooter is packing on weight too, these buds are gonna be special... No smell really though and not much trichs yet. Big devil smells divine, almost like lemon candy. And it probably going to be the first to finish up. 26.05 Day 68 So for one week now according to schedule they get 5ml per litre of mighty bloom. 29.05 Day 71 Last day off week 10. Took a few photos. Shuffled the plants around again, I think they're in the perfect position now to finish off flowering. The boost of mighty bloom has really sent all plants into bud overdrive which is great!

28-9-2019 Out of the 3 different strains I am growing right now.This purple Kush is doing absolutely marvelous. No sign of deficiencies at all. The main stock is so thick and fat I am totally surprised( larger than a thumb) leaves are lush green and no tip burns anywhere. As soon as my new 940 watt Conversion bulb gets here (this week) It's flower time baby.😎

First week of florwering is over. They all already show pistills so induction was successful. I did a little defoliation to uncover bud sites and LST-d Strawberry Cough since it was much higher than the rest of the ladies. Now I do have even-ish canopy. CA$H and Mimozz are going superb. Cough is okay, not great, not bad. Grandpa's Cookies is a runt but I'll try to have at least some weed from this one also 💪

Week 8 Flower The last week of flush for these two. They were taken down on Day 56, after a 16 Day flush. I think Twin2 could have finished at 7 weeks, but of course I hadn't planned for this, or I would have flushed sooner. So she was taken to the originally planned 8 weeks. Twin2 has also foxtailed quite a bit, from only slightly higher temps and also because she's having a last attempt at catching any pollen in order to reproduce. Although the pots were slightly damp still when I harvested, it is best to take them down when they're dry. The only reason I didn't, was because I knew I'd be too busy the next day, and there were plants in veg that were desperate to be thrown into the flower tent! The pics do make them look wetter than they were though. Their fan leaves were taken off and they were each hung in seperate boxes, where they'll dry as slowly as possible for between 6-10 days. I dont suffer with very high humidity, so I'm able to do this without any issues. When I feel it is too humid, I simply burp the box for the first day or 2 once a day. The slower the dry the better the buds will taste/smell. Once she's dry enough she'll be trimmed and jarred for curing. It's going to be a pretty tough one for keeper pheno! They both have similar but very different smells. By that I mean, they both smell very floral and sweet, but T2 smells extra sweet (although definitely not as dense). That doesn't mean T1 doesn't smell just as nice. Hers buds are thicker and more dense, so even though I've favourited T2 in the pics, I think I'm leaning towards T1 still. But in all honesty it's still down to dry weight and the taste test! This can all be looked forward to in the harvest update! It's been a seriously fun diary with these two twins. During week 4 (=flowering week 2) the 18 CANNALOPE HAZE plants from DNA-GENETICS grew like hell and started to develop their first white hairs (=female pistils of the plant). The speed in which the little white crowns appear is astounding to me, I LOVE IT! The lamps are now hung at the producer recommended distance of 22 cm (=LUMATEK) and 45 cm (=SANlight) and both run at 100% power (=no more dimming for now!). The difference between the left side (=Lumatek) and right side (=SANlight) can be seen clearly in the videos. The plants on the right under the Q6W-Gen. 2 LED-Lamps from SANlight have a darker, healthier green color and have produced VISIBLY MORE FLOWERS then the plants on the left side under the Lumatek PRO 600W. Well well well! We made it to week 3 of flower and everything is just fine. Hahahahaha! Much excite! 11/11/2025 So here we are! Ready for a new week and some new stuff to look at. Over the last couple weeks we've been focused on upward outward growth. Height and leaf structure. Roots and nutes. (Had to tune there. Just had to do it.) But now that the stretch has basically ended, it's time to focus on the buds. We're going to focus on the lowers this run. I feel like tho This week we are changing some things. I've decreased the humidity down to 45% and increased the temp to 78°. I might drop it back down to 75°, but I've read you can have it warmer and brighter with CO2 in the mix. And I happen to have CO2 in the mix. So I'm trying it out. Plus, I think the plants are looking for more light. They are praying a bit I increased the light intensity to 90%. It should be around 850 PPFD. I know that's a bit high for an autoflower, but these 2 are definitely enjoying the light. As for the solution, it's stays the same this week. I set the pH to 5.9 as I have read a slightly higher pH is good for the flowering stage. Probably helps with specific nutrient uptake. Papaya Cookies is looking fantastic. I noticed that she has a circle of tops all leaning out and making a nice open canopy. As for any ailments, I don't see anything anymore. I got rid of all the leaves with any type of issue on them and am now at all fresh growth. And some of the older leaves just to keep some energy coming in. Thos of course wasn't today. But the circle of tops looks great. I may have to use the scrog net. We shall see. Lemon Cherry Cookies also looks fantastic. She has tops everywhere. Nothing leaning out, but a pretty even spread of tops all over. I did notice that she got a little bit taller than Papaya Cookies. But I'm not sure when that happened. They were perfectly level the other day. Now she's about an inch taller than her counterpart. Maybe a bit more. Something tells me this little lady has a bit more growth in her. I'm just not seeing it. Hopefully she gets over 24". That's what I want. 2 ft plant. I'd prefer a 3 ft plant, but I can't have everything. This one will do just fine. Tons of bud sites. Lots of light and air flow. Perfectly fed. I also need to address the fact that I won't be cleaning out my buckets this week. There's no change in nutrients, and I made sure to at least wipe the sides of the bucket just over the water. There's a lot of air and water circulation, so I'm not all that worried about anything slimy or icky. There's just no point. They are getting just under a gallon of fresh water every day. So it eventually replaces the older water and depleted nutrients. Anyway, rant over. Lol. Oh no! I just spilled my humidifier! Shit!... Well that sucked. Anyway, I have these new grow tent duct vents. They are supposed to block out the light and let the air in. The ones I got go on the 8" ports on the bottom of my tent. Good airflow. That's all for now.

WEEK 8 (04/18/2021 - 04/24/2021) Day 59: 04/18/2021 Defoliated some growth from each plant before I installed my custom-built SCRoG net made of: pvc piping, drywall screws, and jute twine for the netting. It’s slightly smaller than the tent, 41”x41” with a second level for another net. It fits perfectly, leaving plenty of room to work around the edges and move the fan around if needed. Immediately after defoliation and installing the net, I watered using ½ strength Botanicare Hydroguard. Watering was different. I used a battery-powered liquid transfer pump to help water the plants a little faster and more efficiently. Also helps to reach the plants I can’t access as easily in the corner. I am unable to test/collect any of the runoff at the moment since installing the net, which wouldn’t be an issue by itself, but my saucers are just barely large enough to fit the base of the 5 gallon pots into. I have no way of sticking a pH pen or TDS meter in the runoff. They simply won't fit between the pot and the saucer. This is extremely unfortunate, as I am now unable to monitor the ppm of the soil with each watering. Will have to pick up some larger saucers soon or think of another solution. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 61: 04/20/2021 ‘Tis the season to be medicated. Happy Holidaze! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 62: 04/21/2021 Upping the amount of water going into the pots this watering. Previously I was doing 1 gallon of water per 5 gallon pot. I’m increasing the amount of water to 1.5 gallons. Hopefully that will produce enough runoff for taking measurements. It’s going to be a painfully difficult task to take readings but I really need to know what the condition of the soil is right now. Will not be using any nutrients this time considering the runoff was kind of high when I fed on 4/10. (some amount of time later) Tap water: 245ppm, 6.1 pH (9 gallons) pH Down: 30ml JB#1 - 2730ppm, 7.0 pH JB#2 - 2290ppm, (pH pen died again on this plant) AP#1 - 2380ppm, 6.9 pH AP#2 - 3610ppm (seems extremely high), 7.0 pH GC#1 - 2320ppm, 6.9 pH GC#2 - 2340ppm, 7.1 pH I don’t know what was up with the measurements on the AP#2. The saucers the pots are sitting in are a little small so I think the ppm might have been reading high because the bottom of the fabric pot was sitting in the runoff. Maybe I’m just saying that to reassure myself. Either way, the 3000+ ppm seemed very off. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 66: 04/24/2021 Defoliation + weaving/securing branches through SCRoG. I'm not 100% sure that the SCRoG was the most optimal technique of choice given the very limited space within the grow tent. Also, I almost feel like I installed the screen a little late. Maybe not? Either way, I have read about them and the potential of increased yields, which got me excited enough to build one to try out for myself. I was aware going into it that there would be some difficulties using a SCRoG. I can no longer move my pots around is the main thing. Not being able to move the pots around has increased the difficulty factor of watering/feeding. I now have to access 3 different sides of the tent to get all 6 plants. I've clipped all the ties holding the branches down from previous LST sessions. There was just no way I was going to spend hours weaving in and out of all the ties trying to water each plant while also dealing with the difficulties of a SCRoG obstructing the work space. That would also wreck my poor back. From here, things are going to get real exciting. Tomorrow (04/25) I am rescheduling the light cycle to 12/12 to initiate flowering. Another 60-70 days to go, growing buds and packing on trichomes. With that said, I'm excited to have made it through my very first full vegetative cycle. I've definitely made my fair share of mistakes, as expected, but as long as I keep learning from them future harvest will only continue to increase in quality and yield. Harvest day! This is my first autoflower ever and after 66 days this is what I got. Now it's hanging to dry for a dry trim. Definitely not the best, but feeling happy with the outcome. Even with some major feeding mistakes, I managed to finish her. Learned so much. I will update with the final weight and a strain review!
