She is ripe, danky, sticky, full of resin, solid, and I am pleasently suprised at the yield. This is not your ordinary Auto Afghan variety. She produces heavy buds and a lot of them. This is also the first auto I have grown using DWC in 12 weeks without manipulation - 18 hours straight from start to finish. I pushed her to the limit. Now she will hang in the closet at 50-55% RH and 70 degrees F, for about 7-10 days curing. Then she will trimmed and put into one quart glass mason jars, with 62% Boveda TurpShield and burped until 62% RH is maintained. The full potency potential and terp profile will be reached in about 30-45 days. 📆 19 July 2024 The Smoq Report: After 7 days of hanging, she was ready to cut. I trim and shape each individual bud, removing unwanted leaf and stem. It’s a process but worth it if you smoke bud. Her potency is evident. It will take the experienced smoker to a satisfying high and keep you there for a good hour or more before you want another hit. The smell and taste is of a typical Afghan. I was expecting a heavier yield, but in the end I guess we all hope for a little more! Hello Diary, Another week is behind me, Medusa F1 is incredibly fast, as you can see in the photos, already after the third week of flowering it looks quite mature. The smell is incredible, an extremely strong fruity aroma overwhelms me as soon as I open the grow box. The first Medusa (on the left in the grow box) is a little smaller and more mature than the second one, so I will probably harvest it first. But he certainly has another ten days if she continues like this. The flowers have filled in nicely, they are hard and very very sticky to the touch. After any work with plants, I need some time to wash my hands and remove the smell. Watering is more frequent, they become thirstier, but I no longer add any nutrients to them, only clean drained water to which I adjust the pH. on 6.0. The conditions at the Farm are excellent, the temperature is around 25 degrees, while the humidity is around 40%. Here's how it looked last week. 02/03/2023. - Day 37. Watering. I prepared 8 liters of water, let it sit for 24 hours to evaporate as much chlorine as possible, added Plagron's Lemon Kick to bring the p.H down to 6.0. I watered both plants evenly with that amount. 06/03/2023. - Day 41. Watering. I repeated the same procedure as four days earlier. 07/03/2023. - Day 42. This week has yielded positive results from the FIM And LST. I topped the internodal new branching that grew from the FIM job as well this week and the 2 extra tops are growing in response on each branching. She is now under a 4 bulb vivosun T5 6500K fixture and is responding very well to the light changes. Her stems are begging to give off terpines when rubbed. She smells of tart sweet lemons and diesel fuel haha. I am very happy about this grow and am expecting preflower to begin soon.

Been growing for a while but I need to keep track of things better. One plant has some browning leaves so I’ll research that this week. Week 6 They’re doing well for the most part. Pistols coming in. They love high ppm and drink plenty.

Day 42. She’s flowering and looking beautiful. I defoliated her so she could get more light penetration to the lower bud sites. She’s drinking pretty consistently and eating heavy and she seems to be green and happy with life. Really excited to watch her book and see how big she will truly get.

Hi Potheads, During the course of the week there was a small addition of 3 More CFL LIGHTS through the use of Splitters and sockets thus freeing more outlets, the remaining were programmed to have different schedule that had increasing / peak /decreasing intensities of light sources according time before total blackout, harshly emulating outdoors but with the benefit of keeping thermals , consumption and electronics lifespam at range. VEGGING WEEK TWO: 10 days of 21 vegging remaining if everything goes according to the plan but there is an impending menace that has to go out before putting plants to flower . Plants had a good growth response to the budget light, used soil and non-canon nutrient combos , but in the aspect plague control has been a bit more tedious, and even through im using an agressive product (Aceite de Springhill - Anasac) it does keep them at bay but it doesn't totally eradicate them, seeing a few small flying white dots and some moths when plants are shaken in search of bugs , having really low stretch horizontal plants does make harder to inspect the reverse of the leafs, some of them with clear signs of being chewed , and the bit size is like a hole made with a mechanical pencil and that can react to pesticide toxicity if overdose. This is totally my fault because the reused soil with a lot of organic content is a perfect host for plagues and doing aggresive LST is easing the way to climb or jump towards the plants for any bug. For plant placement inside the tent , u can use week 1, pic 1 for reference. G13 Hashplant : The four specimens are the most affected by plagues persistence, because they have the most vegetal mass and trained branches that vermin can hide. In consequence, it also has received more spray doses of Aceite de Springhill (paraffin oil) and this losing battle contrasts absolutely with their spectacular growth , ramification and thick stems. Santa Bilbo: The four specimens received topping with lst through last week, if there is a net above their cup, its because i already know that when it's stretches, it shows ALL her sativa ascendancy, don't believe in her morphology, preflowering is very messy indeed!. Also, The nutrient deficency didn't had heavy impact on the plants after they were transplanted and received both nutrient & plague control formulas. Eleven Roses: All the plants were healthy but with different vigor, making the desition of the ones that will stay inside according to their reaction to topping. Eleven roses, althrough is declared 100% indica by her crushing effect, it can present phenos with longer internodal distance and flowering stretch , so i reccomend a bit of height control in it's grow stage as well.

I always find it hard to say how much water they are taking because the whole auto pot thing. It would be more useful to maybe have an option to be able to change the unit because it would be way easier for me to say how much water has been put in the res during the week - sometimes even that’s hard to remember for me! Aaaaanyway, things are going fine in the grow - I turned down the light just a tiny bit as the pistols were showing signs of having too much light and they were just looking a little bleached out, so I turned down the light to around 80-90% as well as I think I raised it a little bit also. It’s much harder keeping everything stable in such a small space when I am used to having a room to use but oh well, it is what it is - I am really lucky / stupid to be doing this one, however, I also went into the grow knowing I may have to kill her at any moment - dependant upon visits etc. I know photo growers always say there is no difference in speed between autos and photos but there is a couple of weeks in it most of the time - at the very least. I tried it, my last proper grow I selected all fairly fast flowering photos (not those photos that have been bred with autos to make them quick but just generally fast flowering plants) and it still took longer than my longest auto has taken and it annoyingly Hermes so had to turn into hash coz it was super annoying.) but that’s all in the past now… So I haven’t had to resort to using my AC yet but I did get a 1/4 of the price knocked off because it doesn’t work with the app properly and that’s basically what it was sold on! Don’t go to klarstein, people! She’s def been stretching for sure but I remember this being a really squat plant anyway and I have also trained it in a bit of an odd manner so that it grew outwards with a flatter canopy - I wouldn’t top in future. I don’t really know why I did - maybe because I always have (for the most part) but I think she’d have grown taller and had bigger side branching if I hadn’t but having said that it is pretty much impossible to tell! Unless you do an A/B test - which I obviously don’t have room for! In the next week I am hoping to see her get really hairy and hoping to have to attach a carbon filter - as that would mean she’s happy and I’m going to get some dank. With regards to expected harvest - I genuinely have no idea. She averages at around 2.5z/plant going on the info put into grow diaries and that it about what I got last time - I don’t think I ever weighed it tbh coz I grew it just to turn into rosin. Having said that, it is a totally different set up and the first time I am using this light, so I’m not sure of the capabilities of what is probably a 120-140w light - now I have dimmed it down. I mean, I guess if she was starved for light I wouldn’t have had to turn it down so I’m confident it can produce sticky buds. I will also turn it up to full power in the last couple weeks. She’s meant to be a 10 week or 70 day strain - and I hope that is true because I am going on holiday in early July so I can’t have her going on and on and on. She will have to be cut when she will have to be cut - and maybe hung whilst I am away with the ability to control the environment over Wi-Fi (and probably a camera). Iv just looked at dates and actually she can go on for 13 weeks and so it is all good - she should still be drying by the time I go there and should be ready for me when I get back - I’ll be doing a dry trim as I always do just because it slows down the drying process even more - although actually to be fair the main reason I used to do that was I didn’t have seperate climate control for drying and couldn’t use the tent as was on a perpetual grow. This time I’ll be able to set it tov 60%/60f and hopefully keep it there for a full couple of weeks. Obviously I get rid of big the fan leaves and also chop it into smaller branches but other than that I prefer to do it all dry - saves your choppers for one thing!

They’re looking extremely healthy..gave em their first nute feed with the last watering seem to be doing fairly well..fimmed the GG and LST. Did not touch the unkown as it looks smaller to be the same age. Running GHE base line with few extra supplements. ****UPDATE**** Both are LST’d..might rethink the way I tie them. Going for a “coil” type look, we’ll see though. They’re looking great! Hoping for females!

Here we are again, after hot summer ready to start again, always under the sign of Zamnesia, we make our fantastic plants and we show you what we are capable of. We have 5 autoflowering strains and 5 photoperiodic and now we present them to you. The first lady we present to you is the Blue Cheese F1 Auto, I asked the Zamnesia elves to send me these seeds because I loved this strain so much in the past. I remember well when it came out on a trip to Amsterdam we went crazy. And I remember well when a dear friend of mine used it with phenomenal results. This strain has a background in me. Great fruity flavors very intense I remember. Let's see what comes out. To explain my germination method which is a combination of experiences acquired in the field and readings of right advisors, I chose to divide it into phases so whoever wants can follow them and understand better step by step. Preparation Phase Check the average temperature in the room, humidity status to understand if it is the case to start or wait, I decided for the end of August because the temperatures start to drop towards the 22-25 degrees recommended for germination. Then another thing more or less credible depending on the sensitivity is the control of the lunar phases. I believe in it a lot, it is a method that ancient farmers used to understand when it was best to plant depending on the attraction of the moon. To make my life easier I use a simple app that advises you on the right time to plant, harvest and put in the jar (depending on the lunar phases). Phase 1 - Soaking in water. There are many authoritative friends who advise against this method due to the risk of drowning, but I have always been fine and I follow the rule if it opens in water the seed is almost certainly healthy and will come out of the soil 90% normally. Phase 2 - Opening the seed in water. As soon as the seed opens and the root comes out a little, you have to be very very careful not to leave the seed in the water open for too long. This is why there is a risk of drowning. So as soon as the root comes out, it must be planted. Do not wait for it to stretch out a lot, you can wait a little longer in the absorbent paper in water, no. Phase 3 - In the meantime, while I soaked the seeds, I prepared my pots: I use small biodegradable pots (choose those with holes underneath for drainage). A few hours before working with the opened seeds, I moistened the soil with water adjusted to the right pH (5.8 - 6.2) and Plagron Power Roots. The small root is now open and we can make a little hole with a toothpick, widen it and insert the seed. Not too deep with the root facing downwards. From Serious Seeds we learned the dome technique: if you put a small dome of soil on the seed the water will settle on the sides avoiding overwatering problems. Phase 4 - The plant emerges from the soil. So far I have not put the light, now I turn it on at minimum after half a day of soil to give direction to the seedlings. The first week the light will be gradually brought from 40% to 60% to go to 70% - 75% in the remaining weeks of veg. During the first week maximum, I keep the cycle of 24 hours to avoid stretching.
