Week 3 Flower After 21 days she's no longer stretching, but now concentrating on her flowers. She's already starting to show trichomes later on in the week too. Her base nutrients were gradually changed to the above, at a 1:2:3 G:M:B ratio. Now she's finished her stretch, silicon was decreased slightly and will be stopped by day 28. A few leaves were plucked here and there, to stop a few tops from being shaded. I'm happy with her health and growth in this early stage of flower. Now I'm looking forward to seeing her bulk up and also what smells she gives off. I added a little slo mo video on the end too 😉 Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

Gorilla, gorilla, my problem child. The only one popping out of 5 but she is weaker than her roommates. She stays behind compared to them. But what can I do other than TLC, she has the best conditions, which are optimal in this grow room, also judging by the other two plants. Until I have a bigger operation, which in the current political climate, is not soon, where I can make mothers and clone them, breed my own strains, and root out runts like this, we do it like life. We play the hand as it is dealt to us and we love all our children the same... although this one is special. So not a genderfluid Silverback yet, but it ain't over till the voluptuous lady sings. We shall nurse this little runt until adulthood, who knows she might surprise us, she should have the mighty Gorilla Glue Number Fouh genes in there somewhere. Now come on out here and show daddy what you're made of... This week we spread out the leaves and branches, some leaf tucking and gentle LST, to prepare for some higher stress and super cropping today. Two days back we made the switch and set the lights to 12/12. Now the flowering stretch will begin, thus we bend the branches further outward in preparation for the canopy. When I do this I notice the branches are thick and sturdy, with no breakage at all unlike my previous grow, the gelato 33. I snapped some branches applying the super cropping and just normal bending with those. It seems like the fan (I didn't have a good option previous grow, hence the flimsier branches there) but also this lighting and soil regime are topnotch, asides from outdoor I haven't seen such lush bushiness yet, even on a more runt-like plant. This MarsHydro SP3000 is still performing great, such controlled temperatures, such an ocean of light. I only wish I started growing with this earlier. It is so well made, it oozes quality, I just want to touch it every time (also to check if it stays cool) and it is just sexy, slender, and compared to my other 300 watt light, a completely different spectrum and clarity. This light could signal to other galaxies. I sincerely recommend good sunglasses with this light. Only thing I'm adding is an infrared light Sunshine found. With this I'm going to simulate sunrise and sunset and try to prevent stress by easing the light in and out, like in nature. We are in flowering now, very excited to see what she will do here. What can she perform? Will she cover the net? Will she deliver gorgeous buds, like she is known to do? Well the buds are stacking up pretty well. They have been trying to stretch a little this week so I have been LST branches as they pop up and trying to keep them from getting too close to the lights. Its a really tight fit so going forward I gotta be careful what strains I grow in this cabinet. I will have to get some small/short strains to grow in here and recommendations?

The week ends Sunday Mar-1, being day 61 - week 8 of flowering since flipping the lights. From first pistils shown, it's day 45 which is a more accurate snapshot of where the plants actually are in their maturity. Started the ripening feed phase for the plant. No other nutrients or supplements added (other than enzyme). Lots of orange hairs covering the top buds and buds lower are beginning to also ripen. Trichomes are cloudy now across the canopy with a few amber. Will be monitored for any changes to initiate flushing for 2 days prior to harvesting the tops. Not much change in the buds development on the plant. The CBD has dense nugget style buds with some swelling starting. Light is maintained at 30cm above the canopy, with single daily fertigation at lights on - watering 3L per day. Fertigation pH target is 5.9-6.2 whilst flowering. Stopped the practice of fertigating at lights off due to the other pot developing a springtales infestation. Need to allow at least 2-4hrs of lights on period after fertigation. The coco is not dry but still damp on the surface after 24hrs from fertigation. Seems the plant is slowing down the amount of water intake which is expected at this stage. Trying to maintaining an average RH in the space at 50% but it's getting harder now with all flowers. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The grow setup includes; - Secret Jardin DS120W tent (120cm x 60cm x 180cm) placed inside the bedroom. Passive & active intake of air is from a closed off section of the room where the central heating boiler sits - the intake is warm air (20 degC.) and fairly dry (40% RH) during the winter months. - Mars Hydro SP250 LED light - extraction fan - AC Infinity Cloudline T6 - ventilation fans - aquarium heater - small oil heater - small dehumidifier - 20L Airpots and 3.5L general pots for seedling stage - Canna Coco substrate and nutrients - GHE Flora trio nutrients - pH and EC/TDS meters - 2x Govee Thermo/Hygro meters (one at canopy the other at the roots level)

Smooth sailing at this point... I have just a few key things to discuss going forward this week. No more nitrogen being fed to these plants at this point. My PK booster has no nitrogen, and I plan on using it once or twice more. The majority of nutrition at this point is coming from the rooted leaf Cal-Mag fuel which is an organic source of food. I've also been using the Golden Tree 0-0-2 but unfortunately I ran out this week. To replace it, I'll be using an organic black strap molasses. My temperatures have also dropped at night. By by about 7° c. My daytime temperatures are down two or three degrees Celsius. CO2 dosage is set to 800 parts per million

Sometimes it may be good, sometimes it may be shit. When you don't care for your plants it do be shit. Let this be a lesson for the future and also for those who think growing its just placing a seed in the ground, if you don't care for it, you get weed but not the highest grade. Altho i must say all of the auto's from this round were pretty good at smoking with the exception of one that tasted like a fart in a jar lost in the ocean for a decade, that meanwhile was eaten and shat by a whale, not good, but the others were pretty good, enjoyable to say the least.

Not going to call flower on this one yet, but it looks like she is starting to stretch and switching to flower. She has really strong branches and everything is running smooth. Tried to spread her branches out a little but she fights every bend. Probably just do some defoliation on her and let do her thing.

Als Unterlage verwende ich einen Untersetzer mit Blähton der Körnung 4/8mm, der Topf läßt sich so besser ausrichten aus mit der gröberen Körnung. Das blaue Unterteil des Topfes habe ich mit einem doppellagigen Stück Insektenschutznetz versehen, damit die gute Erde nicht so schnell rausrieselt. Damit sind wir beim 2. Punkt der Neuigkeiten. Diesmal verwende ich die Bio-Hanferde von Sonnenerde. Die Aussicht, meine Pflanzen in Living Soil ohne Düngergefrickel anzubauen, stimmt mich neugierig. Auch die Aussicht, die Erde mehrfach benutzen zu können gefällt mir ausgesprochen gut. Zum Mulchen habe ich von Sonnenerde die Bio-Faser vorgesehen. Tag 79: Die Z-Up Automatic von FastBuds hat unglaublich frostige Blüten. Die Blütenfäden sind zum größten Teil orangefarben. Die Trichome sind zum großen Teil noch klar. Day 42, start of flowering week 3: they are growing nicely, had to do a lot of defoliation on each plant, except the one in the 3L pot. Day 43, I started to discover that the roots are coming out aggressively from the bottom of the pot. I did not move the ones in the back, but I guess same thing. The one in the 3L pot doesn't have this problem. Day 45: getting really excited for these guys! I'm trying to keep the temp and humidity low, and I hope I can achieve some of the purple color :P any advice on that? day46: defoliaton
