Hallo zusammen, Wir befinden uns inzwischen in Woche 6 der Blütephase. Es ist sichtlich festzustellen, dass sie identisch wie die erste Purple Coockie Kush, während der Blütephase vereinzelt Versorgungsprobleme aufzeigt. Es liegt zumindest durch den eigen Versuch mit identischen Pflanzengut sehr nah, dass es wirklich weiter vererbt wurde. Dahingehend ein toller eigenversuch mit eher negativen Ausgang aber zugleich, wertvollen Erfahrungen für uns. Aus diesem Grund, sehen wir davon ab, die P.C.K die sich z.Zt im Re veg befindet, weiter zu führen. Am Wochenende werden wir uns noch mal die Blätter die Kraft nehmen, kleinstblüten und wahrscheinlich den einen Unterversorgten Trieb entfernen. Day 43-49 A lot of them are showing signs of going into bloom. Doing their stretch before bloom, so they need more nitrogen before they're done stretching. White Domina is really impressing me with how much the buds bulked up the last two weeds. They are still slowly fatting up, and this week transitioning into heavier resin production and a few of the many white hairs are finally starting to change color. I did switch the lights to turn off 30 minutes sooner at the beginning of the week to hep them transition. So 11.5/12.5 schedule this week. Following weeks is going to be dropped another 30 minutes to 11/13. I also want to start getting the temperatures a considerable amount lower than what they have been so that I do not off-gas my terpenes and negatively affect the potency and flavor. I been battling the humidity, with the plants drinking 6-8 gallons every 2-3 days. I'm hoping reducing the light intensity, as well as the duration will get them to drink a little less, and I can keep my vdp a little better in check.

Another Defoliation at the end of stretch this week for the Northern and she's now in full bud mode at end of Week 8. 3-4 left I think before the chop and she's just a happy monster. Buds forming nicely on't Chemdawg despite a bit of Nutrient Burn on some of the leaves. Skipped a feed last week and replaced with Molasses only just to help her fight off the excess 2nd Chemdawg looks like she will bud from head to toe a fairly straight forward week for all the girls but started to stink and show their flowers nicely. An important event marked this week: plants were indeed heavily defoliated. This was possible also due to their strong (and positive) reaction to the tea (Organic Compost Tea by Soil With Attitude) received last week. All plants are literally exploding with life. 💪

Another good week but I am surprised she is not entering the flowering stage yet. Beautiful color and shape! Excellent canopy growth as I finally have trimmed the lower nodes off a plant. Very light defoilation of some fan leaves as well.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. The ladies are looking good 3 had a rough start but it was either ph or nitro deficiency somehow...im using nftg#4 for base soil and building a living soil...I topdressed 1/4 cup craft blend and 2 tbls Bokashi...

I have successfully cultivated a substantial quantity of dense, heavy buds. The purple hue is visually appealing, and the aroma is exceptionally sweet.

So all my stuff arrived this week. Will be using fox farm ocean floor soil for this grow. I have blue dream going for this grow. My seeds are germinating and I don’t have pics of them from the paper towel and from when I first put them beneath to soil in the dixi cups. The soil I used was miracle grow bloom potting soil for my initial planting (now I know was probably not the best choice) but I actually noticed some great results to start with the grow. I’ll keep updating as I go and hope to get some great feed back and comments while I go along. Happy growing everyone.
