The plants are now putting all their energy into bud production, and it’s really starting to show!🌱 Both are developing bigger and bigger buds, and the smell is becoming more intense every day. #2 has an insanely large main bud, completely covered in trichomes. The aroma is very hazy, deep, and complex. it’s going to be interesting to see how it develops in the coming weeks. #1, on the other hand, continues to impress with its tropical, sweet, and pineapple-like scent, and its buds are also swelling up beautifully! Thriving in the indoor tent. Leaf and node growth all showing well. There is some lower growth in will need to cut but these auto girls are at least 10 days behind so no stress for them.

Not as many photos these past few weeks because this and harvest are the most non-eventful. However, I can add that this variety of cannabis is EXTREMELY robust and vibrant despite light, nutrient and medium constraints! I get why growth is slowing; I've introduced far-red for EOD and BOD 15 minute regiments and I'm slowly decreasing light lengths instead of flipping(I don't want to stress out other plants in room). This is fine with me as not only this plant outgrown its area horizontally, I have roughly 20% vertical space remaining which should work out with flowering stretch. I didn't want to put flowering in this weeks journal despite obvious maturity(pistils are kool-aide red), the transition is slow but the past 3 days have been slow-er than past month. Lots of very lime green new growth which I've associated with a tad bit of light bleaching but actual leaves themselves show no signs of anything, I go back to when this plant was weeks old...it was very lime green then too so Boron, Molybdenum and Magnesium issues are out of the window. Same with iron. This plant is just fine but could use some UVa baths to pull out those phenotypical traits, a couple more days and my custom built board will be added to this room for 6hr increments. Otherwise, all is good. I could transplant but it's not showing it's rootbound. I could also raise my lights, I probably will tonight even though I've grown other plants 1" away with zero burn(around the led edges). I also have been feeding with McCormick(must be an old-school midwest thing) Strawberry Extract and as usual been seeing the plant respond, especially with "oops, too much" moments when using the blackstrap molasses! This micro area has a very humid(despite 45%Rh), dank, floral smell and when doing the rub test; this plant has a very fruity pungency to it. I like using molasses all the way through as when buds are harvested are much more dense, stay humid longer and have much more sugary kief. Rambling. Next week will have the 365nm UV, the results will blow your mind! Until then. Couldn't figure out the extreme lime green new growth despite almost perfect growing conditions all around, concluded light bleaching but never thought N or Iron deficiency. After transplanting, roots were pearl white, no rotting spots and very little soil showing. Good thing I amended heavily with 5-3-3 and 4-15-12 dry amendments and that blood meal I bought weeks back...3 days later the darker green is coming back! Lots of growth and it has a very distinct strawberry candy aromas when watered and when surrounding air is humid. I have also stopped using my 150w ceramic heater, temps hover 76°F to 80°F day and stay constant 66-68° nights. This plant has almost ideal growing conditions and you can see it's now focusing energy to forming sturdy bud sites. 2 more weeks until full blown flower 12/12 cycle but I cannot wait for this heatsink to get here for this UV light I've sourced. This girl has the structure..

Week 6 Vegetation - "Ruby's" rate of growth continued to increase near the beginning of the week. As expected, this plant is overtaking the twin plant in terms of growth rate now that the bushy triplicate foundation is developed. Kinda reminds me of the "Tortoise & Hare" story about slow and steady winning the race XD With the nodes stretching and growing quickly, I've started to implement tucking of the larger fan leaves under new and smaller shoots. I find this "new growth priority" method paired with LST really maximizes and speeds up the growth in comparison to an untrained plant. Merely anecdotal though! You'll notice that in the 3rd shot, the nodes stretched out in about 2 days and just ballooned! now that's what I'm talking about! nearing the middle of the week and the rate of growth is fast enough that I can't remember to take enough pictures between the new nodes. At this point I'm tucking new leaves almost daily, making paths for the light to reach new growth tips. By the end of the week, I'll need to start tying the nodes to the side before they stretch too far up. If they stretch too far before tying them, they can be a PITA to tie down later with dense foliage and such. Tying them down before they get to this point also keeps the nutrients moving to the "new side-nodes" from these branches. Eventually these will be just as thick as the original main stalk. Luckily this plant seems to be bulking just as much as stretching - yay! UPDATE: As you can see with the last photos added, the branches are almost even with the original top of the plant that was tied down. I gave them a thorough fertigation the night before, and only slight folding of the leaves so I must have choked the roots a bit, but nothing long term.

01/27/2022 Got a couple stragglers in cups but working on getting more pots. I apologize for rough looking leaves on the plants, I've been spraying neem oil as a preventative, and to also boost immune responses I've been doing aspirin in water regime so leaves can get beaten up being scavenged for extra energy. (to fight a non existing threat) At least in my experiences. 02/02/2022 Potted up a Lemon OG into ? gallon self watering pot will top dress with Coast of Maine 5-2-4 and water in for first week or two, then to 12-12 for her

From the start the sour zkittlez show me nothing really outside the fact that she's fine I didn't really see much at her seedling stage but down in flower is where this lady shines, she is just really a good strain. She smells amazing, the buds get a beautiful color in the last part of flowering, got no issues while growing unless you count I had to support her and to me that's fine because the final product I got from the sour zkittlez and how she was grown I would definitely recommend to friends and family and also do a few more rounds with her.

Black Opium is looking faat! These colas are beasts. I'm enjoying this plant very much 😁 I definitely need to stake some more of the plant as the buds are too heavy to support the flowers. Absolutely beautiful plant, buds are super heavy, what's not to love! Here is what I did this week. 12.9.25: I watered with 2.5L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.5 with; 💜 5ml Trace 💜 5ml Flourish PH: 6.5 PPM: 335 16.9.25: I watered with 4L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.5 with; 💜 5ml Trace 💜 1 TSP Biosys PH: 6.5 PPM: 316 The fungus gnats have really incresed since I did a watering of the whole tent. I have some more sticky traps set out, and I will not water for several days. Once it has dried the top soil, I will add some more Diatomaceous Earth to the top 5cm. Glad with the results. The purple punch and the Blue gelato 41 already has a strong smell, girls are healthy all is going well.

Her leaves are grow-ing! She has the most leaves of all the babies. She's definitely ready to soak up all that light. She's not getting much taller very quickly but growing more horizontally. She'll be staying indoors with me.

Everything is goin by smoothly I started to give them silica. I topped them and did some LST but the have since then recovered well I will be switching to flower In the next two weeks or so but everything is filling in nicely with new bud sites popping up each day. Happy Growing gromies

This is the moment all LST fans around the world been waiting for… lol so week 3 is behind, seems I have some mess-ups with the watering, because I’m really confused about the amount and frequency of watering. the info i get from the internet is contradictory “dont overwater” vs “pour till it runs out”. Yesterday (day21) finally bought a fan to make them dance a bit, and overnight I noticed a visible reduction in stem movement, meaning they reacted with stronger rooting (I want to beleive 🤓). and today 25.09 (day22) I’ve performed LST. first thoughts were “not as easy as it seemed on youtube” but then got the hang of it. the biggest challenge is the soft pot having so much give and its hard to fix the wire in place. btw, used 2,5mm electrical wire, because couldn't find a thick gardening wire. No issues in the process. setting up a timelapse to see how the lst works out and a little “side project”. Always wanted to buy a plant of rosmary and grow it. I found an old aluminum milk(?) pot in the garbage the other day, so decided to make a pot out of it. turned out pretty nice, I think

Week 6 Veg Their last full week in the veg tent before they'll be flipped to flower. The Surf Purp siblings are looking very healthy and showing different traits and structures allround. I'm thinking #3 could be a man as it's growing quicker and taller than the rest. It's not a reliable way of sexing, and could still be female so until we see it's flowers, we won't know for sure. Remo Micro and Grow have been increased, along with MagNifiCal to see how they react. By the end of the week they seem to be in perfect health. I regularly move them around the tent and turn them daily to ensure the entire plant gets an even amount of light, promoting even growth from all of them. This is to ensure each plant keeps a level canopy and doesn't start to lean to one side when growing towards the light. Looking forward to getting these in flower! Been a great germination week with plenty of growth, let's hope the next 2 weeks will provide enough growth, it will be interesting now I've amended the ph over the whole garden, ph was at 6.6 run off on other strains in the same medium, started to see some deformities, let's see if this fixes them issues before they arise with this baby 👶
