Week 10 Flower After 4 whole weeks of flush this girl has finally met the scissors ✂️ It took her quite some time to fade out, but after cutting down the most faded half of the plant that was closest to the light on Day 65, and then the rest on Day 70 it was long enough. I'm very impressed with how fat and chunky this girl has become. I wasn't expecting quite this size from first look at her thinner stems and branchy structure earlier in flower, but her buds have swelled up nonetheless and she's stacked well. I always cut my girls down around half an hour (or a bit more) before the lights are due to turn on. This prevents her from starting any chlorophyll production in order to maintain the best flavour and burn. Only a few fans were taken off before being left to hang dry as she's absolutely covered in trichomes! Don't throw away your sugar trim (leaves with trichomes) as this can later be used for dry sift, which can then be pressed for some dank rosin. Harvest update coming soon! I'm excited to report that the flowering phase has officially begun, with only T-55 days/60 days left to go! 🌸🌿 Currently, my lights are set to 50% intensity, but I plan to gradually increase them to 75% over the next few days. 💡✨ I'm happy to say that everything is looking great in the grow room, as I've managed to dial in all the necessary parameters. Two of us, including myself, are in the initial week of flower, while the remaining two are at week 3 and 4 respectively. Thursday this week has been good so far, I pulled each plant out yesterday and tidied everything up. I got rid of all the tiny lateral branches that didn’t make the cut and I got Rid of everything that was below about half way down the plant. Obviously the lateral branches that grew to the same height as the canopy are staying it’s just all the non starter stuff below. I annoyingly had my in take fan die on me. We’ll sort of, it just keeps tripping the fuse on my electric so I assume it’s from when I had my res flood onto the floor - I forgot it was there on the floor because it was hidden behind the res

Week 3 Flower (Bloom Week 3) – Daily Tasks Evening (Lights On) Check environment (temp 24–27°C, RH 55–60%). Inspect leaves and buds for pests, mold, or deficiencies. Water/feed (depending on medium): balanced bloom nutrients with slightly higher P and K. Ensure good airflow (oscillating fans). Adjust plant training (light defoliation if leaves block bud sites). Check for early signs of stretch finishing. Evening (Before Lights Off) Ensure irrigation is not too late in the cycle to avoid wet medium during dark period. 👉 In Week 3 bloom, the plants are finishing their stretch and starting to put more energy into forming bud sites. We are on auto-cruise right now. Feed and water everyday. Like watching the side root grow. For my first cannabonsi I think I've done well so far. Hope I can keep it up. I'm showing the saucer I made at the start at the grow. That's all you get of it for now until more toward the end of the grow. Had a blast making it.

It's amazing how quickly the weather can change. Just a few weeks ago we were bundled up in our warmest coats, and now it's finally starting to feel like springtime. With temps in the 40s and 50s, it's the perfect time to get outside and enjoy the sunshine. My pound cake plant is finally getting somewhere. It's totally weird, because the stems turned this super cool purple color. Soon it's going to be covered in pound cake buds that'll be ready to eat. I'm thinking fancy frosting might be the way to go, but I'm also considering something fruity on top.

We're in the Dirty South this time, and for the music on the reel, we've dusted off a Ludacris, whom I consider the father of that so-so music that can be summed up with the word trap. I've always preferred real hip-hop, but this time it doesn't hurt.
