I didn't like the speed at which the flowers were produced. I think 4,5 liters of soil is after all too little to get the result I was hoping for organically. So this week I started giving some canna terra flores. I started with 0,7 EC and gradually increased it to now 1,3. For now it seems the plant is taking it very well. Today I'll be doing some defoliation because it's getting kinda crowded in the middle of the plant.

10/03 - La semilla de estuvo hidratando por 24hs en agua. 11/03 - La semilla se encuentra germinando en papel húmedo. 14/03 - Germino y aprox la raíz media 3cm. Fue directo a un vaso de plástico chico con sustrato. 18/03 - Brotó. Desde su germinación hasta ahora pasaron 17 días en total. Por el momento viene bien, ya en su segunda semana de vida comencé a regar poco con los fertilizantes. Solo agregue 0.5ml por 1L de agua. No agregue toda la mezcla a la planta.

AUGUST 24 to AUGUST 30, 2024 Sunrise 07:05, sunset 20:50 for total daylight of 13:45 hours. Specimen continues to push upwards, gaining approximately 13cm in height over the past week. Plant is taller than anticipated and planned for, which could present some difficulties as it's getting into the oscillating air circulation fan's wake. Was surprised to see the continued stretch, but there were two days of high heat that may have been the trigger, or, it may have been the result of defoliation and pruning, or it was simply the plant's final push, or a combination of all those factors. It appears to have crowned, or is close to being fully crowned, and as such I undertook a fairly heavy defoliation to improve airflow through the bottom of the plant, and strategically removed leaves in the upper canopy to improve light exposure. Fungus gnats did regain their hold, and so I decided to top dress with Bacillus Thuringiensis Israelensis (delivered via pulverized Mosquito Dunks) in an effort to kill larvae, treated with Soil Pest Defense (Neem Oil, Castile Soap and Yucca Extract) and replaced Bug Scan Yellow Sticky Traps at soil level. Effects were pretty immediate, but I will need to stay on top of this. Would like to cease use of Neem Oil in the soil, so considering acquiring some beneficial nematodes to combat the pest issue. Overall, specimen and its' "neighbours" in the greenhouse are doing well, and filling the room. When accounting for the bench and containers, tops of plants are over 152cm (5ft) from ground level. It is making management a little more challenging, and proving to be more difficult to find good angles to photograph (the space is pretty much filled up). The scent of citrus, skunk and spice emanating from the greenhouse is building, and at times quite strong. Still appears to me to be on-track for ripening the week of October 14, 2024. Day 120 - n/a Day 121 - Drip watered 5.0L of plain rainwater with pH of 6.7 Day 122 - n/a Day 123 - Defoliated specimens, focused on removing leaves from lower parts of the plant to improve airflow (lollipop), pruning hidden or non-producing branches, and strategically removing select upper fan leaves to improve light exposure and airflow. Day 124 - Top dressed with pulverized Mosquito Dunk (1/4 unit per specimen); 1.5L drip watered with plain rainwater in the morning; Hand watered 2.0L of Soil Pest Defense Drench in the afternoon; Hand watered 1.0L of plain rainwater about 30 minutes after soil drench; Replaced Bug Scan Yellow Sticky Traps (1 unit per specimen, cut in half and rested at soil surface on two sides; With defoliation from yesterday, room air flow seems adequate, after increasing speed of lower fans. Day 125 - n/a Day 126 - n/a Next week, planning to feed the rhizosphere with Compost Tea and continue efforts to control fungus gnat population.

Alright, bad news ladies and gents, I got the bud rot. It’s been humid as hell here and I think the buds were way to dense and not drying. I noticed it by inspecting the buds. As bud rot rots from the inside out, I noticed a few “out of place” leaves on the buds that were brown. From my experience with late season bud rot last year I knew right away. I peeled open the bud and sure enough rot. I looked around a bit more and found it in a few more places, I decided right away to take the large buds, and leave some on the plant to mature. The big green behind the garage, I also found some on one bud, I cut and tossed it. The purple one has no rot yet, I think because of the spacing between the bud sites, it’s not dense. Anyway here is a partial harvest, and some bud rot pics. I’m letting them finish, I’ll just keep an eye on them. Pray for dry weather for me. Cheers.

12/11Might be a day early but I'm calling it the start of a new week. The ladies have been looking super unhappy last couple days determined they were root bound so got em put into their final home this morning. Chop and dropped cover crop put thin layer of mixture of BAD worm castings and Coast of Maine lobster compost and watered in with goodies. Set the ppfd to 300 and vpd closer to 1.0 12/13 everyone is looking happier but a bit hungry mixed up light foliar mainly for one girl but gave it to all of em. Inoculated the bed with BB+, Gnarly barley, and Kashi Gold, put down straw layer and watered in some wdg3000. 12/16 top dressed around each plant with craft blend and ocean blend and a mixture of castings and compost. Then watered in a quart each with all the goodies

Week one starts today well actually yesterday Feb 9th was first day but who cares imma document it as today top dressed with power bloom days ago and top watered today Since the bottom watering pan was dry

START WEEK 03/29/22 +Started with some Medium Defoliation this week. Sort of spooky. The girls don't enjoy being jacked around. However, they seemed to have recovered nicely. I'm relieved. +Saw some real stretch the past week, beginning to form buds, pretty amazing and fun to watch the girls grow! +I do realize my plants are different sizes because of experimentation. Not a good idea in practice but great learning. 2 plants have been ScrOG, topped, fimmed, supercrop, you name it. 1 plant just fimmed and 1 plant untouched. The results speak for themselves. 2 plants really wind up being trellised and natural. I hope I can make some decent and consistent buds to make "sort of" final comparison. +bumped ppm to 1200 +beginning to smell VERY strong. +I will do some leaf picking (not enough to consider defoliation) this week just to expose a few more sites. This week went pretty good, the flowers are getting super sticky and smell amazing, but they're packing on quite as much weight as I hoped. I had a friend over who told me it looked like I was growing a tree in a solo cup, so I think I might run these same genetics back next and pot her up from a solo cup to a 3 gallon pot, get the manifold built, then pot up to a 12.5 gallon air pot. I am going to take the wife on a couple vacations or "holidays" as most of you would say. But yeah I plan to run the same genetics, same training, same lights, everything and see what kind of difference a larger pot alone can make. Week 4 of little Guava. She is finally speeding up a bit, but the weather was still far from good. Very cloudy at day, too cold at night – so she still was allowed to sleep inside. When it's raining she can hide under a table, but it's not ideal. Started to slowly feed her a bit, seems to take it well. Hoping for betten weather now.

Week 6, added Biobizz top max according to their schedule. Great to see so many pistils growing and the smell is strengthening. A lot of growth the past week and this week, the height went to 36 cm and down to 30cm due to LST. In hindsight (writing this in week 8,5) I should've spread the large cola stems even further outwards and guide one/the big main cola to the center, I did try a bit but couldn't see what stems to move to the center.

Day 87 - Feeding day today. Removed Acti_Vera completely. She´s really starting to look mature. Tomorrow ill check trichomes. Also slightly defoliated dying leafs and to get more light at lower buds. They´re also developing well. Day 90 - Still see some clear trichomes. Will keep the plan i had in mind, ill feed her one more time and start flushing at the end of this week. This beast is really getting beautifull, love this fruity hashy blueberry aroma. Fingers really get sticky. Day 91 - Last feeding today. Day 93 - She´s really getting mature, so today i will start flushing. At the end of next week i´ll harvest. Flushed 3L of pH´d water (around 6)
