What a Journey, I enjoyed this "Egghunt " so much Last Decemmber @Silky_smooth, wrote me, if i want to participate into a Challenge called " Egghunt" That means growing a Plant from Seed into 50g Of Soil// Medium That means as much as fit into an Eggshell. So i did not think a lot and said yes. And the " EGGHUNT" begun. I started looking for funny // sweet little Growcontainers, and I found some Fancy ones. Black Sheeps, white Sheeps, ( Eggcups) , and some Tealightholders, one like a Rabbit, and a " Bridge" i filled Soil into the Cups, and Into the Sheepcups were under 10 gram of Soil. The " cups" from the Bridge had 35 g Sooooo... challenge accepted!! In the Beginning it was hard to me not to overwater them.But they Mastered my drownings very well After 14 Days i had to manage the Feeding of the Girls. Until that time they only got Beneficals and the Nutes from the 10g Soil. But i got some help from my Growmies, how to feed them , ( not over and underfeed).....Stoney gave me the Hint for an EC of 1000-1200 And so i did it I mixed bigger amounts of Feedingsolution, and the little Cups were diving into the Feedingsolution daily. I could see they got nice color and look fresh again. The bigger they got, the more they liked to drink Then i switched after 5 Weeks from Vegetation into Floweringmode. So they were diving 2 times in the Day into the Feedingsolution. not every Day, but very often.. From there on, it became much easier to me. Because i could see what they need. And the Fun began. Buds were swelling, and Flowers were smelling. In the last 2 Weeks i topdressed with laygranules, to keep humidity into the Cups Until we reached Today.. So Today i cut them and ooked into the cups, and i got to say,,, i could snot see any sooil, only ROOTS.... Solid , totally woven Roots. Most of the Soil was flushed away from the divings. But Plants looked good until last Day CONCLUSION: I learned so much in this Challenge.I learned so much about Watering/Feeding.. and having Fun on the Little Things I feel like i have Grown, together with my little Plants. I feel very confident to do Soilless/ DWC or any other grow hahaha... I feel like i can grow everything... Method 🎚️ Medium: 🥥🥥🥥🥥🥥 1 volume emoji because there really was no method to this grow. Plant seed, let grow, cut down, enjoy regularly😉. Any time you have the luxury of rooting this plant in the earth (where it belongs) is a huge bonus. She didn’t need much of anything and took all she required (for the most part anyway) from the garden👍. OG’s in the emerald triangle pride themselves on the makeup of their soil and the quality of the plants they grow. I like to think that while this girl didn’t have that benefit - she got as close as she could to it here in the north. She was struggling heavy at the start when she was indoors. It must’ve been my error some how but she hated the coco medium, hated the nutes and hated the grow light. As soon as she was moved outside, she was a completely different plant - like she had been begging for the sun the whole time. 5/5 coconuts because you simply can’t beat growing in the ground as the cannabis gods intended😎. Yield🌴🌴🌴 Ahhh the great equalizer of grower egos. Let’s put all of the above in perspective; this girl ended up where she was out of necessity. She was exposed to the elements and potential rippers and named “the decoy” because her express purpose was to draw attention away from the other 2 plants that we didn’t want anyone messing with. Thankfully, no one with a thought to theft ever really noticed her and it wasn’t until late flower that she demonstrated herself to be an award winning plant👍🤘👍. Woulda thought she’d yielded more with how thin her side branches were in comparison to the buds. They were massive and she was ready to fall over by the time the chop window opened. But the buds were also somewhat less dense which made their final sizes a little deceiving. Another limiting factor was that some of her branches were pollinated - probably from a randy bumblebee that had gotten into it somewhere else. Like the other 2 outdoors this year, we pulled 6 or 7 seeds off this girl that may eventually get used in future grows. I’m certainly not opposed to the occasional seed as long as she’s not a full-on hermie that can’t be used. Who knows, maybe a breeding project Is in the cards next year🤔. End of the day, results were about as expected given her conditions and growing environment - 6.51oz of sun grown, sativa goodness👌. 3/5 palm trees for this - without some training and a more accommodating environment - we definitely left some of her potential on the table here. There’s still more than enough to go around though😉. Props Again, a shout out thank you to GD for the platform. Big thank you to HSO for breeding some wicked, awesome beans. And another shout out to good karma for seeing us through this one. Of course some special mention to those who swung in to creep on it these past weeks. En esta última semana de prefloracion, aprovechamos a hacer otra poda de bajos y defoliación (como podéis observar,si se ha llevado bien hsta ahora el cultivo,y hacer correctamente los cortes,y en su momento, se recuperará en apenas horas/día. Seguimos regulando el led a un 75/85%(225/240w aprox) y entra en acción el terpesyn. Volvemos a aplicar enzynabis

2nd time around is in her 6th week of flower and unfortunately I found 2 bud rot places and a worm on my outdoor grow. Because of this, I am harvesting her a bit early so I don't loose the whole plant. I read an article that said this was the right decision to make because bud rot can travel quickly. HOWEVER, if you look at the magnified pictures of her, you will see a few amber trichomes starting to show which really means it is entering its later stages of ripening. So, I'm okay with harvesting today. @Divine Seed Auto Candy is a beautiful cannibas plant to grow. She is tall and has thick buds. Check out my picture and you will see her heavy cola bending over from her weight. Her flowery/sweet smell is spreading all over my backyard!! Hope the neighbors don't mind:) As usual, I clipped off a bud and took some close up pictures for you to gaze your eyes upon. @Divine Seeds, this was a wonderful plant to grow. It is everything @Divine seeds said it would be. I am excited to hang her up and dry her out for a couple of weeks. As usual, Be Happy and stay tuned for the harvest weigh in and smoke report! ALRIGHT! I think i had a successful first week of the first grow :D The bitches are showing steady growth, started giving m a mix of Terra Grow, Pure Zyme & Power Roots. they seem to like it but hey what do i know? Don't know why the other half of my lights is taking so long to get here but we'll survive. temperature is still a little on the high side during the day, around 29 degrees, i will be installing 2 fans tonight which should fix that problem. (bought some fancy ass controller to automatically adjust the fan speed when temperatures rise, hope it works as good as it souds) This week will also be moving week, filled 6.5L 20x20cm pots with those brown balls and Plagron Grow Mix. started watering them in with a mix of Rain & Tapwater + Pure Roots & Power Zym. WHY?? again idk, there are so many tips online i'll just follow all of m. Doing the same again tomorrow morning and transplant them 2 hours before the lights go on. *day 12 edit. Moved the plants into the new pots, within 12 hours i could see them grow again so that must mean they like it, the rest of my lights arrived so we're growing under 10x 23w philips tornado CFL now because they are cheap as fuck and it works amazing. the whole temperature activated fan cooling system is out for now since the temperature is at a stable 26 degrees, and i didnt know that fans make so much noise turning off and on the whole time damnnnnn Let me know what i'm doing wrong & happy growing 😘

The ladies are doing a lot better this week. They got fed and cal-mag . Banana Purple Punch and Forbidden Runtz finally are developing and growing. Slowly but surely.

Well, another week has passed and the end of the second week has come and the pistils have already shown themselves and I continue watering with top crop bloom, first time testing this fertilizer and I'm only using two of them, top veg and top bloom, next cycle I'm going to use General Hydroponics fertilizers because I have a friend who uses them and he's having great results, I still want to talk to my friends about this strain because I think it hasn't grown as it should, but anyway we're studying to improve ourselves for the next ones, the rest is all experience for the next ones it grows. =D

Note: I didn't necessarily flush but I didn't add any more additives or nutrients while away so I've set the nutrient values in the diary to null. --------------------------------------- June 12 (Day 90) --------------------------------------- Away - Camping. --------------------------------------- June 13 (Day 91) --------------------------------------- Away - Camping. After camping, they survived the summer heatwave and look pretty good. The stench in the tent is not like your typical Northern Lights or White Widow. It's straight-up funk that hits you in the back of your throat. I can't really pinpoint any specific scents but it's a very rich and pungent odor for sure. I’m 100% confident the roots are probably degrading with rot after the warm temps. The only problem I had while away is was the AC fills into a 5gallon bucket and it couldn’t keep up with demand about an hour before I got home. After a quick cleanup, I took a closer look and I’m happy with trichomes on both plants. This was supposed to be a 65-75 day fast finisher. Today is day 91. I’m satisfied. I consumed a test bud on weekend that went under a 3 day dry. White ash, no harshness, and punchy in regards to the effects. Chopping them tomorrow.

Harvest time

WEEK 5!!! Final top dress this week with 2 tbsp/gl of a 70/30 mix of 2-8-4 and 4-4-4 Gaia Green organic dry amendments. Started the week with compost tea @ 1250 ppm. GSD leaves always droopy, continuing to turn purple, then yellow on leaves so going to give her some seaweed extract and bat guano for the added Potassium that I think she's hangry for. Checked soil PH with my trusty BlueLab soil PH pen and low and behold the ph had somehow climbed to 7.0-7.4 on all (should be @ 6.5-6.7). Going to PH water to 6.0-6.2 for a couple of waters and recheck soil. The WW is just fuckin packing on buds and they're getting sticky as hell as well as the smells coming off all but the pissed off BD. Have learned that you have to be ABSOLUTELY on point with that strain!

Strong germination. LSD 25 was the first to pop out. Zkittles was the 4th. 100% germination. Temps were 80-82f and humidity 70-80%. Looking forward to trying out the lsd 25 in particular. This is my second time growing both and lsd 25 was actually the very first plant I ever grew. Stay tuned folks!

Well there is not a whole lot to talk about , the legendary team over at Seedsman have been throwing out fire for so long . Was a great frosty strain to grow and would be a winner for hash or dabs extraction fans a must . .. it's a winner for sure in my books . She germinated fast in a paper towel and water in a warm spot. It lived well in soil amended with garden soil and compost .. never skipping a beat it was a good yielding strain and given enough room could have been the best in garden . The only draw back I had was it's resistance to pm .. it didn't matter what I did I was battling that in the final two weeks before harvest but nothing crazy just on down lower branches . Over all it took my mistakes and overfeeding with out even skipping a beat and could have easily been a monster that is very well suited for extracts because of the high trichomes content .. cheers and happy growing ..
