Black Lobster - Cipher Genetics Week 6 Bloom 🌸 The changes in her bulking are becoming less noticeable as the days go on, so this means her bulk phase is coming to an end. She has developed medium sized flower that is completely covered in trichomes, she's incredibly sticky and her gassy blueberry scent lingers on you for a good few minutes after you brush up on her! Her pistils are turning amber and her colouring is becoming more deep green with dark purple tips, the sugar coating of trichomes (she is 100% bred for hash/rosin) makes it look like something from outer space! She's really beautiful! 😍 Temperatures have started to drop now, which is perfect timing for these girls as they all have about 3-4 weeks of scheduled bloom left. ✂️ I've removed her lowest most side stems that were too far behind the canopy, they will only cause problems and use up energy that could go upward. Other than that, she is in great health 👍🏻 💧 Watered every three days with 5L of RO water, nutrients were mixed individually, in order and then finally pH'd to 6.3. The purple punch cookies is looking happy. Will be switching them to flower in a week or less. I gave them a flush and fresh nutrients. The humic acid really makes a huge difference in the uptake of nutrients. I am at about half dose on nutrients compared to what I would have to feed without it. Winter is approaching and bringing the low humidity with it. All of the humidifiers I have tried either dont work or I have to constantly refill the tank. So I decided to use my redneck engineering skills to throw this humidifier together. It holds 4 gallons of water and she pumps like a freight train. I have dubbed her the Steam Queen. I got 2 cool mist foggers that put out about 400ml per hour each and used some things I had around to make them a little float. Added an old computer fan to force the mist out through a 2 inch pipe. She won't win any beauty contests but she pumps out plenty of cool moist air. I also upgraded my exhaust to a variable speed for more added environmental control. Just going to do a little more training over the next week then try to make some buds.

Edit from 19th May. Literally 00:09 Pre-Flowering. Fat Banana looks like Hermie. Royal Critical = clean pre-flower. Edit from 19th May. 16:26 Fat Banana had balls sack and pistils growing all over the place. I nuked everything that had balls on it. I left only top node with pistils. Royal Critical is full of pistils, no balls. Now I wish I had photoperiod seeds instead of automatics. I would give Critical 1 extra week in veg. She is around 10-15cm smaller then Fat Banana. I switched the lights back to 400W. Edit from 20th May. 14:45 I think 32C is maximum what these plants can handle. With 600W I was reaching 34C on some top leaves and that could possibly turn the Fat Banana into hermit (she was the tallest). I open the tent a little (front doors), I put big-ass fan on second gear blowing strong wind through the mesh-window of a tent. I put the lights straight up to the ceiling, I literally can't put them any higher. Fat banana is now 58cm tall and around 80cm away from the light. Day 65 : officially 1st day of flush . Changed the reservoir with fresh water and 1.2g/5 gallons of Yucca extract and 5ml/gallon of Cleanex from Botanicare . Day 68- I did some defoliate. Few more days until harvest.

8/26 she started showing flower. She has been looking very happy. Her leaves pointing high. Since I have been feeding her more her color has been looking much better. Her green is darker then it has ever been. 9/9 Fed 8 tablespoons Foxfarm Big Bloom 28 MLs Foxfarm Tiger Bloom. 9/11 Gave her a little rice water and regular water. Cloudy and some rain today. Also she is starting to smell from a distance. 9/12 4 tablespoons Foxfarm Big Bloom 12 MLs Foxfarm Tiger Bloom. Couple of cloudy days, so only 1 gallon. 9/15 Fed 1.25 teaspoons of Foxfarm Beasti Bloom. She is not growing anymore and working on her bud. So this is her first week of Beasti Bloom. She seems to be budding ok, don't have anything to compare her to. The way I trained her, she is almost all tops. She is greener than she has ever been before. Also a couple of the lower leaves that where fading a bit. The tips look are browning. The leaves where already fading, so I'm not sure if it's a little nuit burn. None of the top and newer growth leaves have any issues. Still I am going to cut back on the nuits a little. This strain is supposed to be a heavy feeder. So I'm going to cut back, but just a little. Probably drop it down to 2 feedings a week. Very nervous about this part of the grow. My autoflower grows were poor genetics. So I am counting on this plant to hold me over for the winter and even spring. Her leaves are a solid green. So I think she is good on N, so I'm thinking maybe this week I should switch over to the Foxfarm Beasti Bloom. Make sure she is solid with P and K.

Went into this week just using mute from fox farm ocean then began nutrients due to deficiencies, getting in under control but overall doing well also started 3 new plants going to start a diary for them soon

Decided after seeing the improvement in the Tangerine Dream to continue with the new feeding schedule, which will include a flush in a few days. She got pretty burnt from the salt based nutes, but her flowers have thickened up considerable over the last few days so I will try to get as much out of her as possible. NCH x SB trichomes are finally beginning to fill out with milk, and several sugar leaves have already gone 30% amber. One more week of flushing and I think I’ll chop her down. Feed pH 6.5, EC 0.9. Flush pH 6.2, EC 0.3.

And here we are! CHOP DAY! This strain has been impressive and smells like a bag of oranges! Oh so lovely! This girl packed on the weight. Several branches are hanging and has caused some side branching to separate from the main stalk(my fault for cutting the scrog net). Will definitely be growing this strain again!
