nice indica structure, compact nugs , full of trichomes. smell is gassy on the front, with tangerine citrus on the back, acid, but sweet, cant wait to smoke it

Time for this permanent bluez to get the chop , she was ready at 10% amber . This girl turned out well , really sweet smelling sticky buds prolly end up with around 10oz dry . Smokes great. I didn’t know what to expect with IZI but they’ve proven to be pretty good hey .

The grow is going well and there are very big differences between all 3 plants. The height: Plant 1 (left): 115 cm tall Plant 2 (middle): 84 cm tall Plant 3 (right): 130 cm tall As 2 plants stretched all the way into the LED light, I have now tied them to the back of the tent. This results in the top colas being pulled sideways away from the center of the LED and reducing the light intensity. The top colas closest to the LED have shown some signs of stress. Slight burning and foxtailing of the top colas is the result of this. However the problem should be solved as they now receive substantially less light. The plants are also very different in their development. Plant 1 (left): still is full of white hairs, bud development is a little slower, moderate trichrome production. I think this plant will take the longest to finish. Plant 2 (middle): most hairs have turned orange, most bud development of all 3 plants and good trichrome production. I feel this plant will be finished the earliest. Plant 3 (right): a mix of white and orange hairs, bud development and trichrome production is ok. I feel this plant will finish in-between the other 2 plants. So far I am happiest with the middle plant (plant 2). It has the nicest bud development and overall looks the prettiest so far. However, in the end we will have to see how the end product turns out. The prettiest plant isn't always the best smoke. So let's see what these ladies do towards the end of flower. I'm using Plagron Green Sensation for the end of flower to help bud production. So far so good. Thanks again to Plagron and Zamnesia for sponsoring the comp and the grow. Buds just keep getting bigger and bigger!! I think they need atleast 2 weeks more, so i gave them 1 week more pk booster and i want to try and give GHE ripen for late flowering next week. Going to flush them when i think they are as good as ready to chop, till they yellow and hopefully get purple :) Cya next week!

Day 31 - 38 (Day 32) I’m going to lower the humidity in the room to 55-60. Still no bananas but I’m still quite worried about #3 fully popping and ruining my whole crop. Since there is a good chance it’s going to herm, I’m going to give it with a small feeding today and watch it like a hawk this week. I think the boost actually made a decent difference in #5 from last week. I’m seeing slightly fatter main colas but that could just be from less topping/smaller plant or less nitrogen. I’ve decided to push my luck and give a boost to each plant. These things just aren’t filling out like they should. They look like they are on day 23 not 33. I’m going to top dress 3 tablespoons of 1-4-2 Destiny launch and later tonight I’m going to water in a low strength feeding of 0-0-15 kelp extract. I’m going to give a final heaping tablespoon of nature’s pride bloom to #5 so it can stretch to the end. I’m also going to lower the lights by a few inches. The tallest cola is now about 13 inches away and the rest of the canopy is at about 18–24. If I see signs of light stress I’ll raise it back up but I’m sure it could use the extra light on the lowers. (Day 33) I’ve been reading that bigger plants just take longer to mature and that’s probably why my plant hasn’t fully filled out or is about a week behind. I still could have done a better job defoliating some of the smaller larf branches on the bottom which just robs the good branches of energy. The more I think about it, the more I think I did a very poor job of defoliating the middle canopy. I’m still seeing lots of larf and small buds on the inside not getting much light. I’m still really worried about herms after finding that branch so I don’t want to stress them anymore. Removing suckers now is pointless. I missed my window of opportunity and now I have to deal with it. I’m going to slide an old DVD player underneath #6 to bring it up to canopy level. It’s lower buds are definitely not getting enough light. (Day 34) Ever since lowering the light, the canopy has gotten a few degrees warmer. I’ve noticed the buds don’t feel as sticky on top compared to the lower tucked branches that feel almost wet with resin. Outdoor weed grown in my climate will never reach the temperature where it degrades resin luckily. (Day 36) The buds are definitely swelling but not to the degree I want. Call me picky but I prefer my nugs as chunky as possible. I’m seeing lots of pistils but not much nug matter. Ive heard too many pistils can be caused by the overuse of alfalfa, kelp and seaweed extracts because of the natural PGR’s in them. I’m definitely going to reduce the amount of that stuff I use next round. I hope I’m just wrong and this tent is going to really fatten up this week but I have my doubts. (Day 37) A purple fade is starting on the underside of every plant except the bush who still is super dark green still. Last watering I got a nice amount of runoff so I’m just going to leave her until the end. I’m seeing a bit of yellowing on #5. I’m going to give it one final full strength feeding plus some rock dust and oyster shell tomorrow and that’s a wrap for nutrients. I might as well hit everything else with a final low strength 0-0-15 too. (Day 38) I’m amazed at how much this stuff smells compared to my last round. It smells very earthy and floral with a hint of pine. Definitely not that gassy smelling pine but more of a sweet pine.

9/29/2024 The plant is looking extremely healthy! There are tons of flower sights and they are starting to bulk up with nice frost development as well. Daytime air temps and humidity are slightly higher than I would prefer, but working to control it the best I can. Lights are currently at 90%, planning to increase to 95% in the next few days. Stretching looks to have stopped or slowed to a crawl at this point. I am continuing to defoliate large fan leaves and any areas of overgrowth/overlapping of leaves to open up the canopy and promote airflow. 10/1/2024 Raised light directly over the plant about an inch. Starting to put some thought into support as the branches are already putting on some weight and swaying from the fans. Have some 4-foot wooden dowels on standby and plenty of bunchers twine. Small issue with roots in the drain line causing the water level in the bucket to rise. Removed the roots and the issue was resolved. Working to maintain 800-900 PPM in the reservoir. 10/5/2025 Overall pretty stress-free week. Continued to add pH-adjusted water only to maintain 800-900 PPM when needed. Still defoliating a few leaves per day to continue to open things up throughout the canopy. Flowers are developing nicely and the frost is everywhere. The smell in the tent is wonderful and quite pungent! Arm hair is getting sticky from reaching in to grab leaves!

i started with LST. unfortunately the plant grew too fast in height, which doesn't make it any easier now. next week i'll try it with twine. maybe i should it just let it grow as it likes.

Day 106, Flower Day 50. Looked at Trichomes this morning. GSC still showing some glassy/milky look. Bubba is pretty milky colored. Still needs at least a week. Went on vacation last week. Had somebody else water. They closed the door, so not as good air circulation. Bubba showed powdery mildew. Not yet severe, so I took the plant outside, trimmed off some fan leaves that showed mildew. Then I sprayed the entire plant with a 25% milk solution (whole milk) and let it dry. Back in the tent. Cranked up the inline fans and added a small fan to the Bubba tent. Just need a couple more weeks.

F47, riego pH 6.3 y EC 1.5, cogollos grandes y densos, los tricomas ya presentan tonos lechosos, a un par de días de cortar. Bajé el rango de temperatura para que en las noches sea más frío, y las plantas se adapten al supuesto invierno que se acerca, de está manera, generando más tricomas. F50, las temperaturas mas bajas han aumentado los tricomas, los cogollos han aumentado su densidad, no se ven cambios en tamaño, pero algunas ramas se están doblando debido al aumento de peso. En 2 días más aproximadamente se hará el corte para empezar el secado.
