Very complex, with noticeable haze/jack notes, but also very sour and fruity. They are moving quickly these days! I’m using FF nutrients, then just water, then a mixture of molasses, recharge, and epsom salt, and then water again. Not sure if I’m overdoing it but they seem happy.

Here’s a deep dive into this exciting and educational week: The “Flush” in Full Swing The flush continues as we prepare the ladies for their final days. While we’re a week or so away from harvest, the plants are responding beautifully, showcasing stunning fades that highlight their unique genetics. This fading process is a critical part of the journey, helping the plants naturally finish their cycle while preserving those complex terpene profiles we all love. The Mold Incident: A Teachable Moment This week brought a challenge—a few buds succumbed to bud rot (Botrytis), particularly on the Papaya Zoap and a single bud from the Gorilla Melon. While disheartening, it’s a reminder that mold can occur even in the most well-maintained gardens, especially with dense colas and a full canopy. After a thorough inspection, all affected buds were removed and discarded to prevent the spread. A quick note to all growers: defoliation plays a massive role in airflow and prevention of such issues. This is why mid-flower defoliation is a game-changer, and I’m grateful it kept the rest of the garden healthy! Papaya Zoap’s Unique Quirks The Papaya Zoap continues to be a star of the show with its frosty buds and… albino tips! These tiny white tips are likely from being too close to the lights. While it’s a cosmetic detail that doesn’t affect quality, it’s a fascinating display of how genetics and environment interact. A Frost-Filled Wonderland The room is absolutely glistening with frost. Trichomes are piling up like snow, giving the entire garden a magical wintery appearance. I genuinely believe the ThinkGrow LEDs and TrolMaster spectrum control deserve a shoutout here. Noticed PK deficiency in leaves so added 2 tablespoons on happy frog Bone Meal and 2 tablespoons on Down to earth... Week 9. Plants liked the added PK but damage was dealt plants getting a heavy flushing.

Just put them into flower.

Most important to note from this week: Even a small dose of cal mag to plants 3 and 6 slightly stunted growth. There seems to be a lot of nutrients in this soil which might be why the added cal mag slowed growth and showed very dark leaves (too much nitrogen from the cal mag). I am using RO water so thought that cal mag would help but didn't. PH in correct range along with recharge and silica really calls for no nuts in this soil! Transplanted to 1 gallon pot with Ocean Forest soil on days 16 and 17. Still only using recharge and silica w/ no extra nutrients. I did add 2ml of cal mag to the plant with light spotting which seemed to help slightly by day 20. All ph ranges are right at about 6.5. I found that watering at 6.7 with a low ppm water brings me to a good ph range for this soil. No signs of deficiency so no extra nutrients for now. Average relative humidity slightly lowered to 60%. I'm paying attention to light distance and power closely to keep ppfm in 300-400 range. 2 plants did not make it. I believe due to overwatering. 5 white widows left I performed LST on Day 21. Plants are short and bushy so I felt no need to top. LST combined with scrog is the plan.

Good morning, we're finally here. We've changed locations, still in southern Spain, but this time much closer to the sea and with a Mediterranean climate, like my Italian roots. Love it. We'll start with the autoflowering plants first; this time, they'll all be grown without cutting techniques. We'll always have two plants: one grown with just a little tidying and left to grow straight, and the other using techniques that don't involve cutting, and therefore slowing things down. I need weed; the grower must also consider this, so the autoflowering plants will finish as quickly as possible. In most cases, it will be a nice, firm LST, not too delicate, and I'll fim if the plant seems to touch the sky, as has happened recently, probably thanks to the Plagron fertilizers, which will be with us this time too. The chosen soil is the recently released Plagron Bio LightMix, which will allow us a more regular and reliable start without the sudden changes that liquid fertilizers can cause. We're 100% organic this time too. For the germination, we also used Seedbooster as soon as it arrived with the last and first 75% water + 25% hydrogen peroxide - *** In my opinion, it's very important to add hydrogen peroxide if you start with the seed in a small glass of water. As soon as it's opened, it would drown too; the oxygen bubbles in the hydrogen peroxide prevent suffocation. www.plagron.com Our Karen Kush really started off like a rocket, the fastest of all.
