⚗️ FERMAKOR – Neutralisation & Filtering (Final Stage) 🧠 “From reactor to bottle — the first real batch.” --- 13.10.25 — Pulled about 1L of the finished FERMAKOR extract into a 5L bucket and added roughly 2L of clean water. Let it sit for a bit to calm down and cool off before touching the pH. Sample came back around pH 6.8–7, totally non-caustic — exactly what I wanted before acidifying for storage. Started adding phosphoric acid (59%) slow and steady, stirring between each pour. Ended up using about 50ml total before the colour flipped red on the GHE drops, landing the mix right around pH 3–3.5. No foam, no violent reaction, just smooth. Smell turned clean and metallic-sweet — the kind of smell that tells you it’s done reacting. --- Filtering setup Used a pillowcase and cheesecloth layered together as the filter stack. The pillowcase handled all the heavy junk, the cheesecloth grabbed the fine silt. It came out thick, dark amber, glossy — zero grit. I’ll leave it to rest overnight, open, just to let any tiny bubbles or gases clear out before bottling. --- Final note This batch is officially FERMAKOR B Concentrate V1.0 (1:4). Storage pH locked between 3.3–3.8, ready to bottle and shake before use. This one’s rich in P, K, Mg, and micros, while Calcium Nitrate will handle the N and Ca on the A-part side. --- 🌱 Closing the diary That’s it for this round — extraction phase complete. I’ll be closing this diary here and opening a new one called “FERMAKOR A+B Test Grow – V1.” Testing starts Monday, 20.10.2025 on a single plant. Very very lemony and gassy, can't even believe it didn't expect that type of smell at all I thought she was gonna be very sweet, the aroma is so powerful but she smells very citric and gassy, can't wait to try her smoke ❄️🤤 let's see how she performs at the end! These ladies are in full flower and progressing like a dream. The colas on them are chunky to all get out. And to think they've barely begun the flower period is mind blowing to me. I'll go in this week and do a good cleaning taking out some of the crispy leafs on the under canopy. Over all though Happy Growing.

Plants are looking healthy, OS fel over and started growing sideways. Just keeping it straight with soft tie. Not much to report🌱 Tent is running in the night and in off in the hottest time of the day.

Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. I made too strong soil, With my additional amendments ( Which Gaia has most already ) . Basically double down on 4 of them . Working on the canopy and making sure the lower leafs are getting light , and even. It feels shes a week or two behind --------------------------------------------------------------- ----- AI Trouble Shooting ----- --------------------------------------------------------------- I use Claude AI to help with python / php programming, so I figured I'd run my soil recipe through this AI. Asked if there would be any issues, Pretty good response! Here was the response. ( I troubleshot the plant prior ) " Potential Issues: Salt Build-up: Worm castings + Bone Fish Meal together can lead to salt accumulation Watch for leaf tip burning or nutrient lockout Nutrient Overlap/Excess: Multiple calcium sources (Gypsum + Bone Fish Meal) Could potentially lock out magnesium uptake if too concentrated pH Considerations: Bone Fish Meal can lower pH over time Gypsum is pH neutral but can affect nutrient availability Deficiency Risks: Magnesium might become deficient due to high calcium levels Iron availability might be reduced due to pH fluctuations Nitrogen could become limited during heavy flowering "

Servus Also die Woche hab ich big geupgradet und mir einen neuen Wasserbefeuchter geholt der ist aber auf grund der hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit direkt kaputt gegangen 💀 Aufgrund dieser unkontrolierbarkeit der Luftfeuchtigkeit in einem so kleinen Raum hab ich dann eine recht effektive Box in meinen Schrank gebastelt (achso kleiner seiteneinschub PC Lüfter egal wie alt sind super einfach am ein altes USB Kabel anschließen und alles ist in sane ) Zu dem habe ich LST betrieben bei jeder Pflanze mit einem individuellen "Förderplahn". Zu dem habe ich alle mit einem "wurzeldünger" gegossen (widentrieben mit Wasser püriert und dann nach 20 Minuten wieder rausgesucht(also wenn ihr grüne kleine Dinge auf dem Boden seht ist das (bisjetzt) kein schimmel)) Habe auf der in dem großen und bemalten Topf irgendwelche spinnenweben und kleine rote Fischer gefunden hab davon schonmal irgendwas gehört und die schnell weggeräumt habe an den darauf folgenden Tagen keine roten Punkte mehr gesehen Kann mir irgendwer beantworten wie weit eine Pflanze ca zum toppen sein muss? Will das nicht zu früh machen um die Pflanze nicht unnötig zu belasten aber auch nicht wenn die Blüte schon los geht und ich habe angst das ich dieses interval verpasse Hab heute am 9. Endlich meine Erde bekommen und habe umgetopft dabei sind mir leider alle stammwurzeln abgebrochen weil mein erdmix in den tontöpfnen geklebt habt wie angetrocknetes essen (2 der Töpfe haben das umtopfen nicht überstanden )ich hatte mich für tontöpfe auf grund der Verfügbarkeit und der überlegenen luftzirkulation entschieden werde das aber nicht wiederholen insofern noch umgetopft werden soll 2 von den Pflanzen werden eventuell nocheinmal umgetopf weil sie erst in 5 l Töpfen sind (auf pastik) für die andere habe ich direkt einen 7 l tontopfgefunden das sollte denke ich reichen Was sagt ihr reichen die 5 l Töpfe oder denkt ihr ich sollte auch hier noch auf 7 aufstocken Achso die Erde ist die haferde von sonnenerde diese scheint mir ein gutes Gesamtpaket mit guter preißleißtung zu sein wird sich ja noch zeigen aber die Konsistenz und wasserbindenden Fähigkeiten sagen mir jetzt schon sehr zu Zu dem hab jch das LST unter brechen das der bruch der stammwurzel wahrscheinlich genug stress ist Wie fatal ist es das die stammwurzel gebrochen ist ? Habe zu dem nochmal diesen "weidentee" gegossen in der Hoffnung das das den Wurzeln beim regenerieren hilft setzt euch gerne auf einen Gartenstuhl und genießt den Anblick wie ein Anfänger alles neu lernt und alles altbekannten Fehler wiederholt oder mit einfachsten Mitteln beste Blüten florierenlässt Achso zu dem ist einer der USB Lüfter auf einer der Ladys gefallen die ist aber so eine kannte das der Lüfter einfach stehen geblieben ist (konnte wirklich egal wie gut ich gesucht habe keine Verletzungen an der Pflanze finden) also füttern richtig fest machen denn wenn der über seine eigentlichen 16 und nicht nur über die 5 volt USB verfügt hätte hätte ich jetzt eine 5gk salatschüssel in der fast nur Erde ist und das wollen wir ja nicht LG eure Herz Damen

Englisch: Now about 7 days have passed since the seeds were planted and all the plants are growing relatively evenly and vigorously. Lights are running on 25% for now. As the main root of all the plants was already growing out of the bottom of the seed pot after 6 days, I decided to repot them into the 2L growing pots earlier than usual. I used Great White Mycorrhizae to further stimulate root growth. Let's see how the ladies cope with being repotted so early. German: Nun sind ca 7 Tage seit dem setzen der Samen vergangen und alle Pflanzen wachsen relativ gleichmäßig und kräftig. Aktuell läuft die LED bei 25%. Da bei allen Pflanzen nach 6 Tagen die Hauptwurzel bereits am Boden des Anzuchttopfes herauswuchs, entschied ich mich dazu, früher als gewöhnlich in die 2L Wuchstöpfe umzutopfen. Dabei verwendete ich Great White Mycorrhizae um den Wurzelwachstum weiter anzuregen. Mal schauen wie die Ladies es vertragen, so früh umgetopft zu werden.

Day 49 today and after yesterday's watering (just 1 watering a week atm) the gorilla's seem to be buffing up slowly. The Zambeza SSH auto is looking so big so early, I'm curious how much fatter the buds are gonna get, seeing I'm just over half way... Its looking more mature all ready real nice find! (not many seed banks have it I think)

She´s amazing, really strong and so beautiful. I made some defoliation and she´s even´t get notice. Their buds are amazing, getting a lot of top buds who makes me dream with a good heavy harvest.

This thing is insane! Rapidly growing everyday. I need to keep it under control for another for about 30 more days before I can fit it in my other tent.

The stretch is complete, finally starting to see the blooms fatten up some. Still struggling with nute because of miracle gro soil. Making the best of it. Four of the seven plants are getting full nutes with very little signs of trouble. The remaining three I am supplying with half the nutes every other watering, the soil has affected those the most. I am looking forward to how much the plants flowers mature this week.
