Well finally got word on my lights I’ll be picking them up tomorrow! Still keeping it light on the feed! Doing plant Guard once a week and feeding once a week! It’s going to fun changing out lights with a full room! But I couldn’t turn down the offer! But I’m ready to flip! But I might strip the plants a bit and give them a week to recover! I stripped them good a while back but looks like I didn’t do s damn thin now!🤷‍♂️🏽

was a solid week. all green, all happy. the birthday cake auto seems to be coming around. so today i set the lights to 12 12 .. lets see how the flower. ive done all what i can in ability and space to set them up i hope. i find mixing nutrients in calcium water (thicker density, almost milk,) produces a quicker visible result in the plants and also you seem to get less variation in how they take the days feed. Frohe Festtage

On day 1 the plants are looking good. I confirmed that my one cola was seeded, so I removed all visible seed pods. After this run I will do a deep cleaning to make sure there is no pollen in my grow box. The rest of my plant colas seem fine... I changed out my reservoir and adjusted the PH to 6.1. I also dimmed my light to 75% to mimic spring conditions. On day 2 I adjusted the PH of the reservoir down to 6.1. The plants are looking great besides a few fox tails from too much light. On day 3 the PH in the reservoir is 6.2. On day 4 I diluted my reservoir with plain water to lower the ppm down to 400 ppm, and I adjusted PH to 6.2 . The buds are ripening for sure and smell great! I haven't gotten any autumn colors yet even though I have dimmed my grow light and lowered my night time temps. I hope by 8 weeks the plants will have some more purple tones but if not I'm good with the flower quality thus far :). The breeder says 7-8 weeks so I'm hoping I am close to the finish line. I will continue to monitor the trichomes for ripeness. On day 5 I adjusted the reservoirs PH to 6.0. I harvested my seeded cola on Pheno #1 as it had stopped growing/ripening and would be a good tester ;) On day 6 the reservoirs PH is 6.2. On day 7 the PH is 6.0 50 % pistils have turned amber so I believe I have entered my harvest window and expect to flush and harvest soon:) very excited!

Fast to flower some decently large nugs! This girl is the only one that survived my "initial torture test" for my sf4000(dimmed to 75% (333watts) in quarter of my 3x3 tent)! She was very resistant to "too much light intensity" as a seedling, and didn't mutate! Once the light was at an ideal height, she started vegging very strong, but 1 week of important time had been lost. She started to flower, and stacked up a bunch of dense buds very nicely! I'm very excited to be growing this strain again next run!-with more training.

7/24/23 - Day 42 - Ok, so where to start? I'm going to go over the last couple days of issues/troubleshooting. We had an issue with the lights not coming on for a whole day/night cycle. That was a couple of days ago, and everything seems okay since then. I had some Canoeing/tacoing on the leaves once the lights were back on. I think I had the PH too low, 5.8. In flower, I should start moving it up the scale. Once I corrected the PH to 6.2, the canoeing/tacoing in the leaves seemed to be gone/almost gone. I'm REALLY worried about the height of the plant. She is only 12 in. from the light that I cannot move. I added a second scrogg net???? I don't know if that's done a lot, but I'm going to try and stop if from growing straight up. I think the best I can do is give it a lean. So Ill call this the ScoggGL (GangstaLean). You'll see some pictures up top as I start the ScoggGL I did the first big trim and pulled a 3-gallon bucket of fan leaves out. I cut off a few side branches I didn't want the plant to waste energy on. I trimmed so many leaves off it was crazy. The smells have been awesome! You all know the smell of the fresh plant stems and leaves as you trim and rub across them. It's one of my favorite smells, which is in full effect. I noticed that I have some pistils growing. I know what that means, shes going to have some flowers here in the next week. I couldn't be more excited!!!!! The roots are just downright ruthless; they have been growing out of control. I have a great picture of them in there with no water. I should note that I did two things that might have solved the Tacoing in the leaves. It could have been one or the other, but it also could be a combo of both things. I did the trimming to get some airflow between the leaves and changed the target for my PH from 5.8 to 6.2. When moving into flowering, I should have already done that. But I did both things while the leaves were Tacoing, and now they are not. I wanted to make sure I noted that. 7/26/23 - Day 44 - Things are looking great. No more tacoing, she's growing and still drinking about 2+ gallons a day of water. I hope the vertical growth stops soon, I want to remove a ton more fan leaves, and I'm hoping that it spends more time growing around than up, I'm keeping some leaves on just to slow some vertical growth. 7/27/23 - Day 45 - She's sleeping right now, but I will chop some more fan leaves when she wakes up. She's growing too tall, and I need to find a way to stop her. I think shocking her system will help stunt her growth. How crazy is this, what a conundrum I'm in. Normally I stress out trying to find the right time to trim to avoid stunting growth. I always keep my plants busy and do one or two chops. I think they need to grow as mother nature intended. Let them grow and do one, maybe two fan leave chops. That's always been my motto and its always worked out great for me. This is now the exact opposite. Feels weird even thinking about it, doing a leave chop two weeks into flower..... ARE YOU INSANE!!!!!! Lol The 2nd chop has happened. I took a ton of fan leaves off. It's time for the plant to slow down heal and start working on the buds! Let's see how this goes over the next couple of days. I added a timelapse of me chopping her up. 7/28/23 - Day 46 - After adding more water last night, I was checking PH, and I did a quick check on the ppm from the nutes. If it went from 600ppm down to 130ppm in a couple of days. So we decided to give her another dose of nutes so she has something to eat. I'll update you after she wakes up for the day. Day 36 she keeps stretching and looks very happy i'm also very happy because soil PH is finally good, now it's 6.5PH after watering with 5.2 PH'ed water(with nutes in it) for the last several waterings. Light is 30cm away from the canopy ~850 PPFD Cut some leaves from center of the canopy for better air circulation and light penetration. Day 38 : watered with 2.5 L of water with nutes and 5.6 PH water, runoff water PH is now perfect 6.5 Day 39: She's been stretching very well, can't wait to deflate already(maybe tomorrow) Day 40: deefoliation day finally has come! And i'm so happy how she turned out after all. I did some LST to even out canopy for better light penetration and air movement! Note: she uses much Calcium - Magnesium (cal-mag) soo you definitely need to add it in your water.

After the trichomes have been checked (70% milky 30% amber) as always, it was left in complete darkness for 48 hours before it was neatly trimmed by hand. After trimming, she was put back in the drying tent on nets. There they are allowed to dry for the next 8-12 days at 62% humidity before they are put into the jar to ferment with 62% boveda packs. After about 4-6 weeks in the jar I will swap the 62% boveda pack for a 58% boveda pack where it can be ready for another 4-6 weeks to enjoy :-). As always, the remains of the leaves are used to make Ice o Lator and oil. Of course, as always, there is a final update during the fermentation process. Not bad at all, chopped on day 73. It should / could have gone a little longer, but it was dying. After the lockout it stopped eating and drinking, and with the new light they had to much heat and the tops started drying up. One morning I opened up the tent and felt like the smell was burnt away, I lowered the temps and started flushing until it was smelly again and chopped it.
