These girls are getting super frosty, especially the Pineapple Skunk. In the middle of the week I learned a lesson. I chopped off a few larger leaves from Pineapple Express 1 and that stressed it out sending out just one (hopefully) banana. I pulled the banana and since I didn't see any other bananas or signs of stress I decided to carry on and not harvest early. The smell started to become stronger this week, I can get a big whiff of it when I open the door early in the morning before the fans take all the smell out. In the middle of the week I moved from "Late Bloom" nutrient mix into "Ripen". I want this to be on the early side of the harvest so it is more awake. At the end of this week I saw little to no amber trichomes. Nothing exciting except the awesome photos! They have all become very fat and crystallized. I have no idea what to except for harvest weight. Maybe the same as my last grow which had taller but thinner stalks in the same grow space. Stay-tuned for the final week and the harvest updates! I have already started my next grow and I'll be raising 2-3 Blue Dream plants. Hoping to get that monster harvest I've been shooting for! That might not be this time but maybe next.

going fine. that tip bleaching is here to stay :) i’m defoliating and lollipopping everyday. couple of leaves here couple of leaves there a growth tip here a side shoot there.. watered yesterday with 3.5l or something. distilled dehum water. caribe transitioned too fast. it didnt give me any stretch which was strange and cannalope as expected hasnt even started transitioning. i think caribe is gonna be overshadowed by the cannalope. dinachem looks lighter in the photos but its not really that light green in color. dinachem x peyote cookies gave me more stretch than i expected but seed runs are always full of surprises haha they both finished stretching atm so they will start filling up in the coming weeks. destroyers are fine too. yeah tip bleached a bit but leaves are very healthy otherwise. they feel soft and firm which is how they should feel. i’m plucking 10-20 leaves daily and it grows back the next day. they may give me a couple days of stretch but its not gonna grow much more than this. its not gonna double from here i mean and the 2nd destroyer is gonna be about 25% smaller than the 1st because as i mentioned not identical clones when transplanted but i’m still expecting exceptional yields and quality from both. ‘till next week!

First the trichomes then the plumping. Still at trichome production they all smell great. Gorilla Zkittles, Gelat.og, and elderberry smell soooo damn sweet and dank. GZ has this orange spice smell. 🤤🤤🤤🤤

So these Cream Cookies were really easy to grow! Almost too easy that I neglected them for a week or so and then found two of them covered in Aphids. We tried everything we could to save #1 & #2 but It was a battle that we eventual lost. They are in a bag in the freezer getting ready to be bubble hash. #3 to my awe and surprise has survived through thick and thin. Good and Bad. And will be my only smokeable "flower" from this run. That said I will run these again but inside in a controlled environment as it seems my FastBud Girls were prone to the aphids and caterpillars. Reguardless I'm super impressed with the structure and just look of the plant overall. Can't wait to smoke #3!!! The frozen bag of hash weighs in at 203g and includes the mutant #3 smoothie auto from my other diary which also was overrun with aphids. *Will update with dry numbers*

8/3 Went over to treat the 10th planet that needed water with plant doctor around 10:30. I was in the garden at 6 but didn't have much time. That plant seems to be curled up or "droopy". It DID need water. I defoliated a few sep leaves off it but I didn't see any today. I guess I don't ever really see the leaves "up" or praying like I do with the rest of tge plants. It's starting to flower like the rest though. Today is the day everything is supposed to get its second or third plant doctor dose but I decided to wait until they need the water. I don't think 24hrs will mean much. I've been staying on top of defoliation but I'm seeing some pillar damage. I'd like to spray bt but what my buddy said about spraying with septoria is still in my head. Maybe I can use citric acid. That way it won't "wash away" spores it will just eat them. At least I think. And I hope lol. Birds get most of the pillars but I hand pick some too. I need to pick up nutes. Wondering if I should just get grow big again. I don't use much but plants are switching to flower and leaves are fading. I have big bloom and kool bloom bit neither have nitrogen. I still need some sort of nitrogen. Especially since that could be a deficiency. Not sure if it's the transition or a condition with the sep. I see some interior small leaves bleeding out and some dying. I'm wondering if what I thought was earwig damage years prior was really a combo of sep and they just ate the evidence. I'm super grateful though. I've got some resilient girls and they're doing well. The special kush in flower is gorgeous as well. Looks like I'll have an early plant. Short flowering time on this strain. Smells pungent.

The next day, I watered with plain tapwater and runoff EC was the same as our tapwater. That Wednesday, was the last day I gave them water. On Friday, they had their 12 hours of light for the last time. I forgot to make a family picture just before harvest, but I did make a movie during those last hours of light. After 36 hours of darkness, I harvested on sunday. The coco had dried up quite a bit. The pots felt light to the touch, but when I removed Jannine from the tent (the one that was always in the middle), she immediately collapsed under the weight of her own buds! The same happened to Kim, only Iris was able to holdup most buds, but with a lot of effort. Apparently they had support from each other and the walls of the tent all that time. The buds were promising: heavy, hard and dense. Can't wait to see how they work out after drying and curing. Even the buds lower on the plants were not nearly as fluffy as my first grow, but more like little marbles. My first grow, I trimmed everything wet, but this time, I only removed the fan leaves and some of the bigger sugar leaves. Also, I kept the branches bigger this time. I threw a lot of the little buds in the trim pile, but since they were still looking and feeling like some good buds (but just small) I decided after harvesting the first plant, to throw them in separate containers. So I now have the trim from all the plants, mixed with some of the smaller buds from Jannine and two separate containers with the smaller buds from both Iris and Kim. It went into the freezer fresh, directly after harvest. Since I am lazy, I ordered a bubble washer, which will be delivered somewhere this week, to ease up the hash making proces. Can't wait to try some of the hash from these girls! As for most of the buds, they are drying in the tent. The circumstances could be a lot better: for weeks during flower, RH in our house was at 60%, but in the 24 hours directly after harvest, it came down to 40%. The weather changed from very humid to very dry and it will be like this until the end of the week. Considering it's about 23 degrees C in the drying room (maybe 22 during night) and the fact it will become increasingly warmer the next few days, I am worried about the buds drying to fast (by far my biggest concern), but also loosing some potency. It is now 24 hours after harvest and the buds are still pretty wet, so at least 3 days of drying should be possible, maybe 4. A few days slower would be better, but probably unlikely. Anyway, this ends my second grow. Off course, I will be back with the final results in a few weeks, after drying, curing, making hash of the trim/popcorn buds and off course, testing it all. She should finish in 7 weeks so I'll be monitoring the trichomes starting next week.
