Ending week 1 today! I am satisfied with how the girls are growing. Quick summary by days: note: amount of water is on ALL plants, not just 1 13/9 6.5 PH Water Misting (0,2L) 14/9 6.5 PH Water Misting (0,2L) 15/9 6.5 PH Water Misting (0,3L) 16/9 Since I didn't water my soil when I was planting the seeds, I grabbed some more soil, put it on top just to help with stretching, and then I decided to do a full watering just to get the soil wet. I grabbed my pressure pump, put in 1,5L of 6.5PH water, voodoo juice + piranha 2ml/L and watered all 9 of them with 1.5L (misting with the pressure pump - I think I will continue to do the waterings like this because it's so easy!) 17/9 6.5 PH Water Misting (0,2L) I've seen a fungus gnat, so I put up more yellow sticky traps. 18/9 6.5 PH Water Misting (0,2L) 19/9 6.5 PH Water Misting (0,2L) Caught 4 fungus gnats for now, I hope the bastards didn't lay their eggs. Keeping the vents on. Temperature this weeks was 24-27, moisture 50-70, average 60. Mimosa #2 a bit yellowish, keeping an eye on her, hope it's nothing serious. Everything else is fine, going into week 2! I still won't give them any NPK, just voodoo + piranha + b52 in week 2. Maybe i put carboload or bud candy just to feed the bacteria and the fungus in piranha and voodoo juice, any thoughts on that? I think I will introduce Micro+Grow+Bloom 0,5ml/L in the third week. Also, there are some white spots on the leaves. I think it could be chlorine? Im watering with tap water, letting it sit for around 12 hours before adjusting PH and watering. Ok, lets think about this logically - why are the leaves turning brown? it looks like a Calcium/Phosphorus issue, A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE THIS , is it a deficiency??? Unlikely in Hydro as the solution is more effective as there are no contaminants, so this leads me to believe its a lockout, what can cause this ? 2 things = A) Too Much Nutrient Potassium or B) ph is too low - SO to rectify this, i have added more water to the reservoir and raised the ph to 6.3 As i am using more water in the reservoir its entirely possible that when the water goes down,even though the EC stays the same the proportional concentrations of each nutrient can change - for example EC pen says 2.0 when i first fill with 20 litres, the plant drinks 4 litres of water and consumes lots of bloom A+B so when i put my pen in two days later the 16 litres of solution still reads 2.0 but there is a higher proportion of PK. Of course it could always be option C) these plants eat phosphorus for breakfast and need more ..😜 I have checked roots they all ok Wednesday- changed solution , made it slightly weaker EC 1.7 ph 6.2-3 Thursday I had a little chat on Instagram with mammoth , i think they might need less than usual Saturday - noticed some yellowing on the little plant , it’s a confusing as th3 other plants are all using the same nutrients and they are loving life , it might be the buckets , I am much preferring the size of the 35 litre ones , and the root structure is perfect , because the 45 litre boxes are more rectangular than square the roots are sort of sideways . Still waiting for some purple on the tall one 🤔 ITS VERY IMPORTANT IN DWC - Do not automatically think you need to add nutrients , in DWC it’s so much more efficient that less is more , 99% of the time it’s overdone it , normally the tips go brown first , but it’s some circumstance s The concentration can increase without you knowing , FIRST change solution with a little bit less , I usually go to 1.6-1.7 EC TOTAL and 6.3 ph that is a universal solution that provides enough without overdoing it . I figured nothing could go wrong with 50% amber / 50% milky trichomes. Harvest day, Medical Mass: Huge buds and no traumas but got bud rot because of too high temps. The best I've ever smoked. Harvest day, Pineapplex Express: Got an early trauma when transplanting but handled it beautifully. Potent smoke. Pretty satisfied for a first grow, and I have a lot of changes for my 2nd grow!

This week I have the wood ready to set up the trellis frame and getting ready to do a final transplant on the plants. Only 4 more weeks of veg till we push these ladies off into flower

Commencing Week 10 - 2nd week of flowering - Day 64 from germination - Day 14 of 12/12 on December 26th All is awesome! 😁 Although all plants have hairs right now, 818#1&2, BH2, & GZ2 (especially 818s) seem to start throwing hairs just a few days before the rest. RD is stretching out rather nicely and is working in sync to make a nice level and full canopy. Have noticed the pH of the nutrient solution now swings very low with every plant, especially the bigger ones, within 24 hrs going from 5.8 down to 3.8-4.3. I pH back up accordingly every day. Lastly I decided to go with "bonsai" training instead of topping. (This is in order to keep plants growing at a steady pace - non-stunting - while taking away the apical shape that is natural for some strains.). I "bonsai'd" The following: GZ1&2&3, AND 818#1. Simply put I coiled bonsai wire around the main cola and bent below the next lowest node /tier (see photos) The other s: RD, BH 1&2, and 818#2 have a natural level/close to level shape. D.65/15 Started tucking leaves and light stress training. So far I have taken only 3-4 leaves off per plant. And other than coiled the Apex cola they are been untouched. Also to balance out the pH drop, I have been pHing to the 6.0-6.2 range. Seems to steady the solution better so I will continue. Lastly I have put both the fans and the oxygen pumps on a 15m on 15 m off interval throughout the 24 hr day. I thought it might be risky however the plants seem not to mind, rather maybe even like this better. D.69/19 Yesterday I added a tiny bit of bloom food high in phosphate to help with the flowering since it's picking up now, as well as some extra Cal Mag and the plants seem happier because of it. And I have still been putting the pH a little higher, in the 6.1 range, rather than a 5.8 since it seems to be dipping low every time I check rather than going up. Also I put these pumps back on 24 hrs per day because after two days of being on for 12 hours her day they seemed not as happy as they were prior. Lesson learned with that one no harm done so that's a good thing. The raspberry diesel is really taking up the space wonderfully in between the four plants in the corners and is becoming almost + shaped really filling in the canopy just like the description online says don't vegfor long because the flower phase stretch is something to behold. 818 headband number one has a really beautiful medium sized stature not too short but not tall and lanky either and tons of Bud sites and is looking the most bud-filled already whether that means it will have the most yield or be done the fastest, or both we'll have to wait and see., All three of the Gorilla Zkittles seem to have slightly different phenotype variation one a little bit more sativa than the other two that are more hybrid looking. All 3 have very different root masses compared to the rest of the plants and are pretty big but one in particular is absolutely huge. (Comparisons will be posted in next week's update.) the Boss hogs also seem to have very different phenotype expressions as of now one is staying much more short and having a very level canopy naturally and no hairs, while the other is close to a level canopy but still has a little bit of that main cola dominant feature as well as a lot more hairs. After removing the runtz from the tent I decided to put a net over them to spread the canopy, not exactly a true scrog due to the lateness of applying the net but it has served its purpose. All very healthy and took the cold night temps like a champ

She has been defoliated 3 times and is ready 4 another go!! She spent her first month feeding just off nutrients in fox farm soil. On March 2nd I gave her her first Gaia Green trio feeding!! She has exploded with growth since! I believe there might be a problem with the plant. Leaves are turning yellow way too early. The pistils are oxidizing very early too. Maybe she got stressed for some reason and decided to accelerate the whole process.

July 5: starting fourth week and she is finally getting some traction. The conditions are good for some fast vegetative growth. I need to remember to not over-fertilize this auto. July 8: faster growth starting. She’s bigger than the Chemdawg auto. July 10: topped this auto early in the morning. Likely needs some N. July 11: fan leaves are getting bigger after being topped. She’s about 50% bigger than the Chemdawg auto which was started at the same time. Other diaries have the auto overdose not autoflowering and we’ll have to see what happens. My autos were started about 3 weeks later than I wanted this year but it turned out to be a very cool spring. These autos are catching summer heat and hopefully it’s not too much for them at this early stage. July 12: she’s noticeably bigger this morning. Done with heat wave now and back to ideal cannabis growing temperatures.
