Week 4 update - through the first week of the stretch and all is developing well. It’s really only the one strong male that’s started showing significantly. Most of the females have trace pistils and are still rapid vegging as expected. Every plant continues showing excellent hybrid vigour and there are literally zero noticeable deficiencies. Currently, the count is at about 2/3 males + about 2/3 indica dominant fem phenos. We took clones of everything female this week so that we can bud em out proper in the dutchy cabinet once the pollen subsides. That’s where we’ll get a real look at the bid quality👌. They’re all quite young at only 3/4 weeks from seed but still look hardy and strong. Rigged up a new drip ring delivery system so that we could take off for a couple days and make watering easier for my mother in-law. Anyone wants the skinny on those, just throw me a dm - super easy design and save a ton of cash and time. All told - were well on our way to the final finish of this generation and the punnet squaring should be interesting once we’re done. End of the day, the grower in me is just giddy for the next cycle. Finally gonna have the option to grow a bunch of different fems for a shit ton o bud👍👌💪. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Week 11: Final Countdown Light Mold Issues: Despite careful management, I encountered some light mold issues on both plants. Fortunately, I discovered the mold spots early and was able to remove them without significant losses. This underscores the importance of vigilance during these final weeks. Tangie: Tangie’s buds continue to swell and mature beautifully. The aroma of fresh orange peels is more pronounced, and the smell is fantastic. While not as frosty with resin as Gorilla Cookies, Tangie makes up for it with her delightful scent. Currently, about 20% of the trichomes are still clear, with the rest turning cloudy. I'm aiming for all cloudy and very few amber trichomes to achieve an uplifting effect. Tangie will receive one more feeding with Finalpart before starting the flushing process. Gorilla Cookies: For Gorilla Cookies, I plan to feed her with Finalpart only one more time, and then it’s flushing time. The trichomes are mostly cloudy, with no amber trichomes yet. Unlike Tangie, Gorilla Cookies is covered in resin, with a strong skunky aroma that intensifies daily. Pest Management and Plant Health: The sticky traps have been effective in keeping thrips at bay, and there have been no new issues with aphids. Overall, both plants appear healthy and vibrant, showing no signs of stress as they approach harvest. Environmental Conditions: The weather remains hot but humid. While the plants are receiving less light on the balcony compared to the garden, this hasn’t significantly affected the ripening process. Having them on the balcony makes it much easier to monitor them daily, reducing the risk of mildew and significant losses. Final Thoughts: As harvest time approaches, I'm excited for the final results. Everything is prepared for harvest, and the weather will stay perfect for the last few days. I plan to give the plants as much time as needed to reach their full potential. Update 08.08 During my morning inspection, I found mildew on both plants. For the Gorilla Cookies, I had to remove some larger mold spots inside the buds. I carefully disassembled parts of the plant to ensure I didn’t miss any mold and ultimately decided to harvest it. Although I couldn’t let it fully ripen as planned, the trichomes were about 90% cloudy and 10% clear. That most be good enough. For Tangie, the compact and bushy growth led to some mold issues. I took the largest colas off and gave them a thorough inspection to make sure no mold was left behind. So far, I've harvested about 70% of the plant. Since most of the pistils on the remaining parts are still white, I'm giving them a bit more time to mature. I'll keep feeding with Finalpart at a slightly lower dosage and see if we can squeeze out a bit more potential from these final buds! Update 12.08: Final Countdown We’re almost there! Most of the trichomes are now cloudy, with a few amber ones starting to show up on the top buds—signaling that she’s nearly ready for harvest. Today, I gave her the final dose of Finalpart. I’m convinced that Finalpart has made a significant impact, boosting resin production and speeding up the ripening process. The buds are looking absolutely fantastic. Once the coco dries out, I’ll give her a thorough flush to eliminate any remaining minerals from the grow medium. I’m optimistic that this will further enhance the aroma and flavor, making the final product even more exceptional. trichome development is coming along however I am worried that they might not make it until harvest. I will be starting 2 photoperiods along side 1 other auto on my next grow with suitable nutrients for my medium.

Hi All, I think I must have missed a week, don't know how I did that but I switched on the 16th OCT and this should have been the fifth week of flowering. Anyways I will change that over the weekend. Weekly update: *What's happening in the garden. So starting the fifth week of flowering and the buds are starting to bulk up. I still think the canopy is too dense but I am going to pretty much leave it and see how it plays out. Maybe I will thin out one large colla and see if that's going to grow a lot better but I don't know how meaningful this will be going forward. *On-going problems 1. Top canopy leaves still showing red stems. (I am almost to a point where I think this might be genetics) 2. Sweating problem - I've tried to lower temps, thin out canopy and dimming light. So I've done all that with limited success UNTIL I moved two dehumidifier into the room and lowered the RH in tent from low 70's to low 60's and I directed the top fan directly at the canopy rather than blowing slightly above the canopy. That seemed to help the plant sweat without leaves pointing up and tacoing. 3. Brown goo in reservoir - I am seeing some brown goo started to grow again but less than before. So I am going to increase the cannazym, hydro guard and PH at 5.5. *Neat trick to slightly increase your grow tent area. Since this is a monster mother plant in a 2x4 tent. I've been having trouble keeping her in check especially on the perimeter of the canopy so I actually added a input fan to decrease humidity and increase air flow and also created a positive atmosphere in the tent so the tent basically increased 10- to 15% in volume especially in the middle of the tent where my canopy is at so this gives her more room to bulk up the buds.

Apparently the plants have stopped growing taller and now the buds are going fat which is a really good new :D:D:D - The buds are developing good amounts of resin too The smell is stronger now , i don't what is the smell like but it is definitely nice . Day 72 and according to seed vendor it will be ready between 70 and 80 days from germinating so this weekend i will move it outside the tent to observe the trichomes Day 73 - I moved the plants outside to see how it goes and i have decided to remove plant 1 from the tent(is wich i did the topping) due to small size which made nearly impossible to develop buds. The others are great and the 2 where i super cropped multiple times are mora than 100 cm each so i think their real height should be 120cm in a bigger tent. Buds are going heavy everywhere

Week5 Vegetative steering Day 29 ————- 4 minute shots(220+-ml). 50-60klux 68 leaf temp Defoliated/Lollipopped Plants seem to be inefficiently spaced. I moved them all closer and they are now positioned better under the lights ———— Day 30 VPDis about a .95 Vegetative steering schedule for 3gal who drink a little over a quart a day 220 P1 440 P1 660 P1 880 P1 1000 P1 1220 P2 1330(1%)P3 I achieve runoff at end of P1 then do a maintenance shot and finish the day off with a watering. P1 waters every 15 min starting 1.5hours after lights on Plants are swelling. But not as well as when i use CO2. I think plants in flower still need co2 so that we can get these lights closer.(as long as the leaf(temp does not go over 80 and vpd stays good) Also, i found a plant to have hermied in week 2 so i removed the pollen sac and rubbed some pollen on 2 plants. Seems like they are just starting to take form on the flowers. **need to check for hermies beginning week 2** Am happy to get seeds from these ladies as this was very isolated in the grow ________________ Day 31 Plants are starting to frost. Group1 has swelled the most Group 2 has average growth and nice frost Group 3 looks like it was over dosed. *Bras&MJ study shows that MJ does mot need to be sprayed with Bras as it will over stress the plants. Brass was completely fine to spray without having adverse reactions. MJ seems to decrease yields but is a worthy tradeoff(will continue to use)-* ————— Day 32 Sprayed 2 plants with MJ(they now have been sprayed both week 4&6) Sprayed 3 with bras(also have been sprayed twice in flower) Finally frosting On the plants
