Moin, Mir wurde von dieser Sorte wirklich nicht zu viel versprochen! Der Grow verlief sehr entspannt ab, der Calciummangel geht definitiv auf meine Kappe. Bis zur Ernte war es ein Traum, auch wenn ich nicht ganz so faul hätte sein können, ein bisschen mehr Training und vorallem Entlauben hätte sich auch noch positiv auswirken können. Einzig eine kleine negative Sachen gab es schon beim linken Pheno hatte ich kurz vor der Ernte circa 4-5 männliche Blüten gefunden, Samen oder Microseeds konnte ich allerdings nicht feststellen, kann auch gut sein das das auf meine Kappe geht und ich am Ende dann doch etwas viel Stress durch den Calciummangel und späten Entlauben hatte. Getrocknet wurden beide Pflanzen für 9 Tage und anschließend zum curen in die Gläser. Schon vom ersten Tag an zeigte sich ein wirklich angenehmer Geruch der jeden Tag süßer und süßer wird. Die 2 Phenos zeigten zwar grundsätzlich 2 verschiedene Wachstumsmuster, wobei mir vom Wuchs der linke größere Pheno deutlich besser gefallen hat als die kleine rechte Pflanze. Auch bei der Budstruktur waren beide komplett verschieden. Der linke Pheno bildete zwar größere Blüten, diese blieben aber etwas luftigere. Der rechte Pheno hingegen bildete kleine Steine aus. Wo sich beide Phenos aber einig sind ist bei den purple Tönen in der Blüte und dem Terpenprofil. Beide sind straight fruchtiges Gelato und das wirklich nicht zu wenig. 🤤 Der rechte Pheno würde ich als fruchtiges Gelato/Candy beschreiben. Der linke Pheno hat eine angenehme Frische die ich nicht ganz einem Geschmack zuordnen kann am ehesten einem Gelato mit Eukalyptusbadezusatz. 😅 Vom Effekt sind beide für mich persönlich eher etwas um abends einfach zu entspannen und als Hilfe zum einschlafen perfekt.

Hello smokers and growers, taking a look here at the Banana Blaze by Dutch Passion in its 4th week of flowering. She looks clean, happy and healthy. Slowly starting to stack up those bud sites. The rubbing the stems gives off a banana cream terps, it’s a very delicate smell and mouthwatering too. Maybe she could use a light defoliation but really just doesn’t seem necessary.

How is it growing, my fun(k) loving friends? ***INFO*** For more on my setup, why it was monster cropped, and how I made the canopy, see Germination page and subsequent weeks. They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. A couple more weeks and we will have the final cured and dried weight. More photos and movies will follow, this is where we are so far!! Big hug, lots of love and take care! ***UPDATE*** The final weigh-in is ready. I hadn't seen them in a week, because of my vacation. The humidifier I set up, had failed. So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! I smoke for medical reasons and it's used for ritual and healing purposes, never to be sold, as it loses its magical properties. Should I have to buy Gelato of this quality at the dispensary that I frequent, it would cost me at least € 15,-- per gram. 246 x 15 = 3690 euros. also, 49 car rides of 25 miles there and back, 250 euros in gas saved. Great grow. I experimented with topping and topped to earley which hurt my overall yield but after all was said and done I ended up with just over an ounce of really good top shelf pot!!!

Thankfully, it was localized and quickly handled, removing all affected material carefully to avoid spreading spores. Despite how dramatic macro photos can make it look, the loss was minimal. The rest of the canopy remains healthy, strong, and radiant under the LEDs. The girls keep thriving like the true champions they are. ⸻ 🧠 Educational Spotlight – What Is Bud Rot (and What It Isn’t) Bud rot is a fungal infection caused by Botrytis cinerea. It thrives in warm, humid, stagnant environments — the kind of microclimate that can form in thick buds during late flower. It usually begins inside the bud, invisible at first, and works its way outward, leaving behind a grayish-brown, dusty rot that can ruin entire flowers if unnoticed. Die Box wurde jetzt mit einem Raumteiler in Trockenkammer und Blühkammer geteilt. Die kleine Pflanze wurde jetzt auch gespült und wird demnächst auch gefällt. Overall the blue cheese performed good and i knew it was going go to be last to harvest! The buds were so damp and sticky it created some mold on the top cola! Lucky it didnt spread to the rest of the plant! Next time im definitely using some low stress training method for this. Dry weight 34 grams altogether!

Day 111. First is ready, second week behind, third maybe even 3 weeks behind .... Plus they are LEAFY ,!!!! Trim jail ... Wet trim for all of them - no doubts !!! Day 115. Still hanging, slowly drying and result should be decent at the end ... A week more I guess, very humid in UK ... Day 118. First trimmed - 175 g. Other is chopped ! One still grows ... Day 136. Chop day for the last one !!! Long run .... Happy Growing !!!

Eccoci qui... Per problemi di lavoro ho tardato un pò la pubblicazione delle foto... Il ciclo si presenta molto bene siamo quasi nella fase finale ma comunque bisogna prestare molte attenzioni, sono molto entusiasta di questo cultivo. Start of Week 12 😉 Day 86 autumn comes too fast 😵😲😪 Day 88 time is running out 😲😯😧 Day 89 the weather turns to epic fail 💀💀💀 Day 90 the sun comes back again 😍👌 oh lord

Flush ended two days before the darkness period. Decided on a 48 darkness periods though some prefer 24 or 72. The darkness did help trichomes reappear at the tops of the canopy. Going for a longer dry of 10 days, best temperatures are 60-70F to preserve the terps with 50-60RH. This has been an amazing experience, definitely putting in more passion into the next run.

AH1 About 38 inches starting to slow down in height and really pack on the hairs. Starting to develop an earthy almost chocolate smell. AH2 35 inches tall. Starting to develop nugs all over and hairs are fattening up. Has more of a skunky earthy aroma.

oh did I add I noticed she showing sex this morning as the sun rises so this morning Feb 18 6:22am I decided to up my nutrients  with the first bottle of nutrients I mixed was on a early veg level so I just add 2ml of each my fox farms advance nutrients along with some algas ( made with seaweed somewhere on the island ) which is a root stimulant and a few drops less than a teaspoon of molasses.  and gave my baby a deep feed hope I dont regret this hope I dont get nut burns .

10th week! Very fast maturing plant, already with about 10% amber trichomes! I will harvest in a few days 😍
