Back again!!! After 2 rounds of Spider Mites in my old grow area, I moved my grow area to a completely opposite area of my house - from the attic to the basement. I'm near the end of the first crop of autos that have grown in the basement and I've had NO bug issues at all! 😁 This diary is primarily to see what happens when growing Fast Buds Cream Cookies outdoors and to enter in their 2020 outdoor grow contest. I started 4 Cream Cookies seeds indoors a week ago and they all popped. I started the seeds directly in soil. Personally, I find starting directly in soil works best for me. I'm going to take 2 of the seedlings outdoors in about a week and keep 2 indoors. Indoors they will be growing under a 315w CMH (LEC) in my 2' x 4' tent. Outdoors they will get full sun in our garden. They will be growing in ProMix and I will be feeding Fox Farm nutes as well as Recharge. I'll be feeding at 1/2 strength from the recommended feeding schedule. I'm excited to have a new diary up on GD again. And excited to see how the outdoor crop compares to the indoor. My prediction is that the outdoor crop will grow larger and faster. I've been seeing insane growth spurts outdoors in the past week. I almost took the seedlings outdoors over the weekend, but I'm glad I didn't - it got down to 34 degrees last night. That probably would have killed the seedlings. Stay tuned... p.s. The big girls in the tent are almost ready to harvest and include Seedsman Sour Diesel Haze Auto (nice fat, dense cola), Fast Buds Gelato, Dinafem Critical+ Auto and Female Seeds Auto Bubble. I also have Basil, Oregano, Mint and Chives growing in the tent acting as bug deterrents.

Average grow maintenance effort, slow growth, small canopy but not really any issues. I will update all the weights, taste and all that crap soon.

So it must be that she prefers to be defoliated the training seemed hard on her for me. She wilted really hard through the weekend. I even reduced her light hours way back and separated them. Now they're back together again. I find that shes also a heavy drinker. I'm super excited shes definetly flowering now! And rather large for the container size. Hope you enjoy & check back next week to see just how fast she grows! And remember its 4:20 somewhere!!!!!!

Since you’re all familiar with Wedding Cake feminised marijuana seeds, we’ve put a Break-up Cake in the oven at the Kannabia Seed Company – because things don’t always go well, and we sometimes need a friendly seed to lean on. Break-Up Cake has a base of Girl Scout Cookies, one of North America’s best-known strains, which is earthy with a very potent indica effect. And we top it off with a delicious Cherry Pie which, in addition to giving it an elegant dark attire, adds a silky, deeply sweet flavour of cherries and berries. Look no further – it’s the perfect cake. This seed will be celebrated for its ease of cultivation and abundant production. It’s one of the best investments you’ll make this year. But if it’s going to be memorable for one thing, it’s for its sweet complex flavour that’s full of contrasts. If we have to break up, let’s do it sweetly and amicably, right? How to: Break-Up Cake Break-Up Cake is an “all-terrain” marijuana seed, which will adapt to the place you allocate to it. An ode to independence, it’s a plant with only the most basic needs that knows how to grow by itself. It’s a pale branching plant with tremendous dark green leaves, purple tips, and an icing sugar coating of trichomes. Its immense buds are some of the stickiest ones we’ve found in our seed bank recently. Indoors, it needs 60 days of flowering to give no less than 600 grams per square metre. Use a Screen of Green method without hesitation, or plant it using hydroponics if you want to obtain the full benefit of its potency. Outdoors, it reaches two metres in height with a harvest of 800 grams per plant, which is reason enough to give it a go. Like a good break-up cake, this plant doesn’t need to live with a partner, and knows how to live well in a Guerrilla plot. Between 25th and 10th October is its moment. Taste and effect of Break-up Cake Very relaxing but not causing lethargy, it’s a good indica-dominant plant. Its effect is mellow (we’re too old for childish games). It calms the consumer but it also gives rise to creative moments. Head on up to the top floor, later to make your way, little by little, down to the kitchen later (where you might want to give in to temptation if you need to stimulate your hunger). The flavour is full of nuances. It will remind you of a vanilla sponge or cheese cake: you’ll notice a cherry topping, something sweet that you can’t quite distinguish, and an earthy undertone on a biscuit base… You’ve got to sample it to know it. _____________________________________________________________________ SETUP: 80x80x180 cm Zelsius 240W Full Spectrum LED IR UV dimmable DW240H-A6-HS Heatsink color red LED Chips: 512pcs SAMSUNG LM301H + 24pcs Osram 660nm + 8pcs Osram IR 730nm + 8pcs UV 385nm Color mix: 2700K + 4000K 2,8umol/J Driver HLG-240H-C2100B Coverage: veg 5x3ft / flower 4x2ft Product size: 628x205x68mm Green Buzz Nutrients Shouts go out to my sponsors @GreenBuzzNutrients, thanks so much for your support! 💚 💚 💚 If anyone would like to try their amazing organic products, use code GD42025 for generous 25% discount (for orders of minimum 75€) ✨ https://greenbuzznutrients.com/ Biobizz Lightmix custom exhaust fan 320/270cm³/h Carbon Active Granulate 240cm³/h tab water pH 8 - EC 0,25 with Calmag to 0,5 Advanced Hydroponics pH minus Grow + Bloom to pH 6.2 🍪 🍒 🍰🍩 🎀🍪 🍒 🍰🍩 🎀🍪 🍒 🍰🍩 🎀🍪 🍒 🍰🍩 🎀🍪 🍒 🍰🍩 🎀

day 7 Flowering: Hi all . It has been the start of their flowering this week and the initial stages of their stretch period. Time to exploit the burst of growth and set them in position for full light absorbing relaxation. The less stress to get light , the more focus on creating the beauty in flowering hopefully. I took some time to do a clear out of the small scrappy growth low down the stems to focus on the happy growing bud sites higher up. With their shape and size , the flowers would have been within the ball shapes and unable to develop properly. The shape of the plants from the tip spreading is very helpful now. I am able to tuck the really big powerhouse fans , underneath the developing lowers. This supports the lower growth to head higher but also keeps the main stem powered by the very important big fans. As these are autoflowers and able to use the available light through the huge fans , it can only be beneficial to keep them as long as possible while they are not blocking anything. The difference between the strains is noticable more now with the Strawberry Pie wanting to spread her branching more . Tip spreading has kept them smaller but their nature still has them wanting the long node lengths and cluster bud structures as opposed to long donkey di#ks. The other strains have benefited more from it and in particular, the #2 Six Shooter has an amazing amount of hopeful mains all fighting for focus so should be a good example of how tip spreading really works to create productive , squat beasts. Fingers crossed.lol They are still being fed just water with no additional boosts beside the last top dressings. I will be watering again with the biosys tea but they look so happy and green that I wont be adding any other products unless I notice a need. Cal.mag being the exception as I want to avoid the expected deficits from using l.e.d , before it can slow anything down in repair/recovery. The light is covering them all perfectly and with the height still to be lowered after the stretch is done , I know from previous Mars lights, the big solid nugs will appear.... I have used a video to show the past weeks growth rather than the usual pics and hope this will be more interesting than having to scroll pics. I also noticed a few leaf miners among the other plants and suspect we have some migration here too. Not too serious as yet but before it gets too bad , I used a store bought spray ( organic) to hopefully get to grips before they do. Failing this , a good smoke bomb might be used. Until the next time , be well and loved.

This Diary contains one of Katsu Bluebird's Most Exciting breeding Projects; Grape Ape Cake ! Lineage; Hotcakes (Katsu Bubba X Burnt Toast from Raw Genetics) X Grape Ape Welcome to Week Seven, our last Veg Entry These Girls loved the topping last week.. & didn't really miss a beat as far as growth is concerned, a minor delay but still cracked an inch worth of height gained this week. As most seam to have a very tight growth pattern I honestly think they're going to be monsterous tower's in the coming weeks. with that in mind I gave everyone a good leg shave to increase those chances. Also The Frist trellis is up ! after talking with Katsu about how much he thinks this particular strain may stretch.. i've decided to hang 2 lines of support across these girls. this first being right as we move into FLOWER ! teh second line will go up one the stretch stops..(week3-4 maybe we will see) With that being said, after a slight flush @6.6ph Water, & 24 Hours of darkness happening as I type this entry.. They will receive their first Flower Feeding in the Morning! & the next entry will be our first week of flower ! It is always a blast working from a pack of Reg Seed, let alone an Exciting project like these Katsu beans ! and as we move into flower next week I've taken cuts that I'm hopeful will ensure I have the BEST of the Best Flowers from this run to keep for another run at least.. and maybe even outdoor 2021. Thanks for Reading This far 🙌 If you have a question or a comment leave it down below otherwise, I Hope You Check in Next Week, Stay Safe out there & Happy Gardening Cariboo

Week 7 Flower Report – The Masterpiece Garden Unfolds 🌱 Introduction Welcome back to the most thrilling chapter of our journey yet! Week 7 of flower is here, and the garden has transformed into a paradise of unique beauty and diversity. Every plant has its own personality, showcasing the results of all the hard work, dedication, and love poured into this run. Let’s dive into the details and celebrate these girls like never before—because they deserve it! 🌸 Plant-by-Plant Breakdown Papaya Zoap The rebel queen of the garden, aiming for the stars with her towering structure. Her dense, frosty white nugs sparkle like diamonds, and her leaves are fading to a stunning yellow hue—a clear sign she’s ready to shine. Her aroma is captivating, leaving no doubt she’s going to be a showstopper. Gorilla Melon Standing tall as the second in command, this beauty is all strength and vigor. Her vibrant green foliage cradles thick, frosty buds that exude a fragrance worthy of her name. A true contender for the title of MVP. RS11 This one’s a frost factory! Long, elegant buds dripping in trichomes, with leaves gracefully fading to yellow as she transitions toward the finish line. Her balanced stature and impeccable structure make her a dream to cultivate. Green Papaya The frostiest of them all, her sugar leaves are curling under the weight of so much resin. Every glance reveals a shimmering coat of trichomes that’s hard to believe. If frost were a competition, she’d already have the gold medal! Mandarin Squeeze Dark and mysterious, this beauty stands out with her rich, deep green tones and impressively dense buds. Her flowers feel like rocks, and her aroma hints at a citrusy explosion waiting to happen. Punch Pie What can we say about this heavyweight? Her large, dense buds are jaw-dropping, and her presence in the tent is commanding. She’s proving to be a genetic masterpiece, delivering beyond expectations. 🌞 Environmental Mastery This week, we’ve begun the slow decline of PPFD to 750, keeping reds and UVs strong while easing back on whites—a calculated move to guide these girls into the final stages. The room’s stats speak volumes: • Temps: 27.8°C with RH at 64.8%. • CO2: 800 ppm for consistent growth energy. • Reservoir: PH 6.16, TDS 791, temp 21°C. • Soil Stats: TDS 669, temp 22°C. Even the fun facts are worth noting: leaf temps are ranging between 26.6°C and 24.2°C, while the LED bars are holding steady at 38°C, and the ICL-300 at 35.6°C. Aero Fan at 23°C and the filter output at 24.7°C highlight the precision and control in this room, all thanks to the incredible TrolMaster ecosystem. 💧 Feeding and Nutrient Update Our transition from organic minerals to a solo mineral approach has been a game-changer. These girls are thriving! Here’s the recipe this week: • System Clean: 0.25 ml/L. • RO Water Conditioner: 0.8 ml/L. • All-in-One Liquid: 1.75 ml/L. • K-Boost: 0.5 ml/L. • Regulator: 0.15 ml/L. This blend is bringing out the best in each plant, delivering unparalleled frost, density, and aroma. The stability of the pH, thanks to minerals, has made life simpler while pushing the plants toward peak performance. 🌟 Reflecting on Progress It’s a joy to walk into this room and witness the results of months of effort. Each plant is delivering on its promise, and the smells, colors, and trichome production are truly next-level. The journey has been demanding, but the rewards are sweeter than ever. The curiosity to see how they finish is at an all-time high! 💬 Shoutouts and Community Love As always, massive gratitude to the sponsors that make this possible: • TrolMaster for precise environmental control. • Aptus Holland for top-tier nutrients. • Cannakan for their unwavering support. • Pro-Mix Soil for a robust foundation. • Seed Banks for the incredible genetics. Day 60 and a new week, with lady #2 starting to show her age by getting some more yellowish fan leaves. Sugar leaves on both started to show a very lovely, deep violet color. By breeder information they should be ready in 60–63 days. I guess it will be a few more in my case. Lady #1 is foxtailing a bit. Summer grow, definitely, and it was over 30 °C outside most of the daytimes, so I couldn’t avoid peak temperatures of more than 31 °C fully. Like every indoor grower – no restriction to this kind of plant only – I like to see self-grown green become big and bushy, but I guess with a 1,60 m tent it‘s better to stick with shorter specimen. Even some fan leaves are getting into their autumn dress now, and wow, I like their style! Pistils are still white to more than 50%, so ne reason to check for harvest proximity or to feed them pure water only. Day 62: With their cola foxtailing, tallest bud is now at 91 cm. Color is gaining saturation. A bit more intense leaf curl on very few of the uppermost leaves; nothing to worry about at this stage. Think I can do a microscope tour soon, even if I know it’s too early. ;)

Training This week was the start of the LST and, with that, a continuous gentle defoliation to ensure that the new shoots are getting a lot of direct light. Leaves (especially sun sails) growing over new shoots are either pressed down or, if necessary, removed. When LSTing, I always focus on gently bending the branches in the desired direction every day, without disregarding the natural structure of the plant. Once they reach a length of about 5 cm, I start to secure them with training stakes(*1). This way, the risk of damage (as well as overall stress for the plant) is kept to a minimum. Setup The lamp is now at max. intensity and min. distance (35 cm) at around 650 - 700 PPFD. (*1) I built the training stakes myself to match my needs (enough length, natural material, no sharp edges, slightly downward facing angle). Pests + Living Soil + Environment The combination of nematodes and sand seemed to work immediately, because the number of Sciaridae quickly dropped to about 2 - 3 adult flies per day. Still, on day 40 (8 days after adding the sand) I removed it again, because: - it was rather intended to support the nematodes (fewer new larvae), - the Sciaridae had fallen to a level that seemed acceptable, - it would keep the soil too anaerobic and moist in the long term. The decision also had a positive effect on the RH(*2) (approx. 10% increase). (*2) Relative humidity fluctuated slightly from day to day, but generally remained around 50%. Although removing the sand (at the end) of this week increased the RH, I only evaluated this ‘new average' RH from the following week onwards. Environment + Plants The stabilization of the environmental conditions and the increase in light, have allowed the plants to grow intensively this week. In the beginning, the relative humidity was still a little lower than I would like, but acceptable since the plants were still quite small and didn't need to be watered as often (large amount of substrate with corresponding buffering effect to keep the plants healthy. Plants During the seedling phase, I observed slight deficiency symptoms that at first glance looked like a nutrient problem (potassium, calcium, ...?). Since I cannot control the nutrient content as precisely as I could with a hydroponic system e.g., and the damage was manageable and occurred during a phase in which I also stressed the plants by allowing them to become too dry, I simply ignored it... with success. Since the system has been back in balance, there have been no further incidents of this kind. *Gorilla Z Auto was 20 cm tall, Mimosa Cake Auto 12 cm. (Pre-)Flower I have also been able to observe pre-flowering, which is consistent with my other observations. [Autoflowering genetics in particular do most of their growing during this phase, which lasts just under two weeks, roughly starting from week 3 - 5.]

Light hitting with around 850 PPFD The stinkyness of this lady is insane! one of the loudest plants ever grown. She takes her time but I am fine with that. Overwatered 1 time this week but she took it like a champ.
