Luftentfeuchter läuft , sonst geht hier gar nichts, aber der produziert Abwärme . Will ich nun kalte Luft von draussen wirds hier mit 77%rH geantwortet aber die Temperaturen gehen runter :)) Lass ich es bleiben und entfeuchte , ich habe eine undichte Hütte was die Luftfeuchtigkeit betrifft , dann steigt die Wärme wieder . ES IST EIN TEUFELSKREIS :)) Aber wie gut das ich weiss das auch die ganzen CSC's und auch die Profis ihre liebe mühe haben die Temp und Luftfeuchtigkeit zu regeln . Und nein , ich werde mir keine Klimanalage einauen die beides regeln kann. Da ich mal wieder zu schusselig bin eine Zeitschaltuhr und das Sanlight DIM System richtig zu nutzen , haben wir ein paar Lichtaussetzer gehabt , somit sind nicht an allen Tagen 20h Licht . Week 8 of flowering, Biscotti mints 2 looks more close to the end than Biscotti mints 1. Both very frosty, smelling really good. It’s been 1 week since I flushed them 😍 Looking at the trichomes they are close to the stage I like(around 20-30% amber) so I will harvest them.. probably 1 more week. Overall really happy with what I am seeing 🤩 can’t wait to smoke it 🤪

This girl is now six weeks old and hasn't stopped growing! She has slowly started to cover herself with trichomes, which smell delicious! Despite my obvious mistake with the nutrients, she is still a considerable size. This week she drank 3.5 L, of which 2 L were nutrients and 1 L was just water with a pH of 6.3. The lamp is now fixed at 30 cm at 100%, and despite this I still have to raise it daily, as the plant continues to grow and get closer. Now comes the fun part! Over the next 4-6 weeks, this girl will kick into high gear to flower and mature by the end of the year. How will it turn out? Find out in the next episode!

FD36 - True to form I completely forgot to take any pics before the lights were out. The third week in a row. I'm detecting a pattern... lol FD37 - Pics! FD38 - Today, I was proactive in trying to prevent botrytis (budrot) since I have had problems in the past when temperatures and humidity get too high in late flower. I started with defoliating hard by removing fan leaves. That should lower the humidity in the tent as there are fewer leaves to transpire moisture, and also increase the airflow around the buds. Finally, I put my small humidifier in the tent to further lower the humidity. FD41 - The anti-humidity measures are working. The tent went from an average RH in the high 60s to the high 40s. (The average RH in the last 24 hours was 48.9%.) I'm happy with that, which should be enough to avoid budrot. Better safe than sorry, so I did additional LST to open up the plants and thus increase the airflow around the buds. It's also helpful to increase light penetration, so win-win. FD42 - We're at the end of the sixth week of flower, and things are chugging along in the tent. The buds are slowly fattening up, but it will take some time before they are done. There isn't much to do in the tent this late in flower besides watering. Today, each girl got 2.5-liters of water @ pH 6.5.

Had a good week, no problems whatsoever. Finally seeing pistils popping up.

Week 15. 50 days of growth, 49 days flowering, stalled in between (growth phase), which was a good thing, it allowed time to go by and 2 plants were gone by the time she was coming into heavy flower and RH was in a much more desired range of 50-55 still high I know but the last 2 weeks I've been able to bring her right down. I know it's a little to late. But it has frosted up. I'm going to try 2 get more trichs for her final week. I've taken most her fan leafs and some sugar leafs, will hopefully send the plant into an overdrive of sorts and will force the plant to defend itself releasing more sugars and movemebt of fluids to stressed parts. Also I took half of lots of sugar leafs and the remaining fan leafs I cut halfs off. Dunno if this will help but I'm trying new things here, well new for my understanding, not new new (Targeted defol to get extra trichs/resin). Put her on a flush, just 3l she was still eating ppm was 150 from 1l of run-off I caught tap water is 78ppm. Topped her up with flawless finish today her 1st 1l 1 9f 2 for this week she'll get water then another flawless finish on day 6 and ill keep her on that and 1 more watering tben imto dsrk windoe 36-48hrs. Will hang dry, hopefully the whole plant. And will give her a l of water before harvest to prolong drying time for a 10-14 day dry at 55-60%rh 19-21c. Thanks for reading. This will possible be the last update if things get frontier as a result of what I did I'll post updates but what I'm gonna do is already planned. So update will only be on if quality has improved by eye. 16/4/22 Targeted defoliation and trimming the sugar leafs, (be sure just to take some leaf, not frosted). It'll send your plant into overdrive and it'll think she's been eaten alive and it'll force her to defend and prop herself up increasing in resin/long trichs. This is all theory btw. As there is no real way to tell if this works, you'd only know by growing this stain many many times and doing 50/50 And you might, might be able to tell if it's had an impact. But it wont hurt, that's if u don't take too much. So, I checked over and over and over her. Ponderd and then paused, smoked a few blunts, many bongs later and an hour goof. After taking a look after her 12hr rest her stigma is so little and she's flushed. Stopped eating more or less. Maybe she could do with another week. But sadly, 102 days is all I can Will be in the 55-57 day window of flowering after rest. So Barneys are solid in flowering time, id say she'd of only been an 12-13 wker like the zkittlez organic, as when there is little trouble or stalls barneys grow windows are usually spot on. They both gotta come out tbh . Zkittlez I'm going to push to the last day I possibly can. I plan to heavily feed this girl with water tonight (TDA), tomorrow and then 1hr again before harvest. This hopefully will prolong the drying time. When chopped all her sugar, fan leafs will be left on. After she dries for 4-5 days I'll trim off all sugar/fan leafs without frost and then after she's fully dry I'll trim to get to the end product and of course I'll be smoking all frosty trim, if there's enough I'll try my hand at bubble hash. We shall see, either way it'll be smoked as it's frosty as crap. This plant has been a true gem to work with Barneys has truly out did themselves. This was my tester, it was a freebie test seed that was dropped and I was just going to plant q zkittlez but ended up putting my hand in my pocket and guess what, there was a TDA seed it. I was sitting down and dropped it, thought fell through the sofa after it popped out of the seal and thankfully she got planted, as she would of been just another zkittlez, I love it and all, but I'm a little tired of smoking the same stuff tbh. It's lovely and all, but a bit of variety and all that good stuff! Happily I'm going to get some nice and frosty TANGERINE DREAM AUTO. Who knows what she'll give. Keimungsbericht – Lemon Cherry Sundae Automatic Heute beginnt mein neues RDWC-Abenteuer mit der brandneuen Lemon Cherry Sundae Automatic von FastBuds. Für die Keimung habe ich diesmal eine völlig neue Methode ausprobiert – mit einem Ergebnis, das mich absolut überzeugt hat. Zum Einsatz kam ein neues, sauberes Marmeladenglas mit Deckel. Das Glas wurde mit etwa 1 cm Osmosewasser befüllt. Anschließend habe ich mit einer Pipette zwei Tropfen 11,9 % Wasserstoffperoxid hinzugefügt und das Glas verschlossen. Danach wurde das Glas auf einer Heizmatte bei konstanten 28 °C platziert. Das Ergebnis war beeindruckend: Bereits nach nur 8 Stunden entwickelte die Lemon Cherry Sundae eine kräftige Keimwurzel von etwa 1 cm Länge. Eine schnellere Keimung habe ich bisher nur selten erlebt. Die Kombination aus sauberem Osmosewasser, stabiler Temperatur und zusätzlicher Sauerstoffversorgung scheint ideale Bedingungen geschaffen zu haben. Nach diesem perfekten Start zieht die Lemon Cherry Sundae nun in ihr neues RDWC-System ein, wo sie mit dem Plagron Hydro Düngeschema versorgt wird. For this grow I decided to test a completely new germination method and the results were outstanding. A brand-new clean glass jar with a lid was filled with approximately 1 cm of reverse osmosis water. Using a pipette, I added two drops of 11.9% hydrogen peroxide before sealing the jar. The jar was then placed on a heating mat maintaining a constant temperature of 28°C (82°F). The results were impressive. After only 8 hours, the Lemon Cherry Sundae had already developed a strong taproot measuring approximately 1 cm in length. This was one of the fastest germination results I have experienced so far. The combination of clean RO water, stable warmth and additional oxygen appears to have created ideal conditions. Following this excellent start, the Lemon Cherry Sundae is now moving into its new RDWC system where it will be grown using the Plagron Hydro nutrient line. Outdoor growing is and remains a ‘run with mother nature across seasons’, we cannot determine all the factors. This is a disadvantage but also a challenge that I gladly accept every year, be it tomatoes, peppers, artichokes or borlotti beans in the open field. I can now enjoy the results until the next season. However, after the season is before the season, a lot of seeds have accumulated and new varieties have to be selected. The ladies light schedule was changed to 12/12 on Oct.30!❤️ The girls were doing great about 1 week after their big defoliation and SCROG being put in, I decided to flip to flower. I had been tucking and bending and had achieved about 80-90% canopy coverage, the last bit should fill in this week as they begin to stretch. During the 1st week of flower transition, I continued to tuck and bend where I could, trying to maintain an even canopy of tops, as well as fill in as many of the squares, as evenly as I can. It becomes a morning and night routine, I check on my humidifier, say good morning, and tuck away for about 5 minutes or so, it doesn’t take much at this point. Once the first week of stretch is through, I stop tucking branches and allow the tops to continue to grow upwards. I find that by using a SCROG method, there isn’t really a whole lot to do…I don’t defoliate until week 3, so it’s just feeding every 3-4 days and filling my humidifier! When I water is when I like to get under the canopy and check the stems and leaves for anything that shouldn’t be… and typically once a week after watering I’ll wipe down the tent and sanitize any surface I can. There is no reason to get lazy, that’s how you get Pests, Mold, and PM. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

1/17 - Day 62 / Day 35 Flower Pots felt dry so decided to give them about a half gallon of spring water each. This wasn't enough to induce runoff. Will save that for a bigger watering later this week. Nutrient issues continue to persist. **************************************************** 1/19 - Day 64/ Day 37 Flower - Feeding day Pots were feeling dry again. After about a week of laying off the nutrients following the flush, I gave them a feeding today with their watering. In retrospect, I probably shouldn't have waited this long to re-introduce nutrients as some of the lag in recovery is probably due to the fact that I flushed all of the food. The feeding solution consisted of the following: - 1 gallon distilled water - 5ml of FF Tiger Bloom (1/2 dose) - 10ml of FF Big Bloom (2/3 dose) Adjusted the solution to the following conditions before feeding: - pH: 6.5 - TDS: 303ppm - EC: .6 I gave each of the 5 gallon pots about a half gallon each of the solution, followed by enough spring water to induce runoff (approximately another half gallon). I tested the runoff for both of my 5 gallons and returned the following readings; Z51: - pH: 6.4 - TDS: 649ppm - EC: 1.3 Z52: - pH: 6.2 - TDS: 669ppm - EC: 1.3 I was encouraged that both plants are close to being within my ideal range and hopefully this means that they will start to show signs of recovery in the next week. **************************************************** 1/21 - Day 66 / Day 39 Flower I'm growing in an attic space and we've had a drop in temperature over the last couple days, my heating system was working overtime and more heat was rising into the space. I woke up today and the temp in my grow tent was registering in at 87F. I decided to play around with my temperature threshold on my fan controller, reducing the max heat threshold to 80 from 85. What I didn't account for was that I had a low humidity threshold of 30% (which I assumed meant that that fan would stop running if it hit this point). It turns out that my fan actually kicks ON when it hits that threshold... As a result. my fan was short cycling through the night where it would turn on when the heat exceeded 80 (causing humidity to decrease) then turn on again when it hit my low humidity threshold - creating wide swings in my temp and humidity. I'll tell you what, if I don't produce any viable bud this grow, I can honestly say I made up for the loss based on the education I've received. The nutrient deficiency issues are still present but don't appear to be getting worse. The leaves on my Z51 are pretty pale, it's clear they are starving for nitrogen but I am reluctant to try and address issue at this point. I'm planning 2 more light feedings over the next two weeks so hopefully this will be enough to get them to harvest. **************************************************** Day 1/22 - Day 67/Day 40 Flower My girls are really starting to frost up and the colas feel noticeable more dense by the day. I would have thought that the smell would have been stronger by now. Not sure if this is a consequence of my carbon filter doing such a good job or whether the buds are having developmental issues. When I get up close and smell the buds, I get a faint aroma but not the strong sweet and gassy smells that I've read about on other journals. I watered the 5 gallons today with a gallon of spring water each. My soil is not as airy as it once was and has started to cake up around the roots. I do my best to try and loosen up the dirt, usually to no avail. I was short for time so I didn't have a chance to test the runoff.

Week 8 is finally here! We changed up the nutrient feeding to the week 8 on the feed chart. I am diluting everything at a 50-40% rate to keep EC within acceptable ranges of 0.8 - 1.1 EC. I started adding Terpinator to the mix and I do notice a significant smell increase vs. without it. I am going to keep using this as I think it is a great supplement. I did figure out that even though on the bottle and on the specific feed chart, it says it is a light formula that will have minimal impact on EC and will not burn your plants at the recommended rates - it will! First time mixing up my nutrients with terpinator, I had to dilute it because the EC was too high. I put the recommended amount in my mix, and checked EC and low and behold it was high. The next feeding I did a 50% dilution rate and that seemed to be ok if you are diluting your other inputs properly to compensate. ALWAYS make sure your EC and PH are in check prior to fertigating your plants. I am watching the trichomes on a daily basis and am looking to harvest sometime this week or next. I plan to dry it in the tent it is growing in as it has AC and good airflow. Once they are done drying, they will get trimmed up, lightly vacuum sealed and stored in the freezer.
