Greetings my dear Jungletamers, So a major surprise came when @MarsHydroLED contacted us and asked if would like to try out their new SP 3000 light. Being a fan of Mars Hydro for years, we of course accepted their offer. We are totally in love with this light. I was when I saw it in another grower's setup and was in awe of its output and results. So with much pride and thankfulness for the presents the Universe bestowed on us, in the form of MarsHydroLEDS offer and the bountiful harvest of the last grow, (which I am thoroughly enjoying btw, such a great weed to have grown ourselves) we start out on a new adventure that we can't wait to share with you. With many lessons learned from the previous grow, a mighty producing strain in the form of Expert Seeds Gorilla Glue #4, a.k.a Expert Gorilla's and a tweaked super soil mixture, we are setting out to hopefully get over a gram per watt, preferably 1.5. The Setup A 4.5 (140 cm) x 2(70) x 6.2 (200) grow tent, giving me a .98 m2 workspace. This space is customized to my needs. A standing fan will provide airflow through the whole grow, a top fan will help guide cooler air past my lights onto the grow. 3 56 ltr pots will be the home for the plants when they are 2 weeks old, up to then in smaller jars. The Light The leading role and star of the show will be played by the Mars Hydro SP-3000, so kindly provided by MarsHydroLED, which we will test and review here and I might say, endorse. I'm very careful with who I endorse and support these days, but a company with that many wins in design, I'm talking ever since their first range came out in 2009 these guys have been raising the bar for the whole industry, I did not hesitate to support this leading brand. If you want to compete with these guys, you better bring some quality AND affordable pricing. Why do I endorse the SP-3000 without ANY hesitation? It is seriously THE BEST light on the market in this price range and size group. It has an enormously effective output in U/Mol and with 30% less energy waste comparing to older LED lights. Prove me wrong! And with a company holding a considerable market share selling thousands of units every month, competing on price and quality, one would think that customer service would suffer. Of course, also Mars Hydro is not perfect, but check the sheer amount of people that not only praise the light but also the service received, should the light somehow not perform up to par. It is this dedication to their customer base that made this company have a fanbase... Yes, a fanbase with a website and a wiki. Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. On this I started layering the coco coir, Bi-grow, peat, castings, and amendments in a way that the more mature the plants get, the more phosphorous and less nitrogen they will find. Every time I made three layers, I would mix them by hand. This way we simulate natural soil, which consists of humic layers, composting plant waste, fungal and microbial life, and nutrients from fossilized sources. It's been 47 days of flower now and The gals are still loving the fc4800 and their new 8x8 mars hydro grow tent as much as I do👍 leaves are sticking straight up towards the light. Love how easy the zippers are to open and close. Nice and strong and guaranteed to last. It has extra material on the backside of the zipper that helps for light leaksand enough ports and vents for anything you need in it👍. the tsw2000 is still going strong and is also a very good light. Its been going almost nonstop for 6 months and still working the same as when I got it👍. not much heat off both lights but the fc4800 is alot cooler and the heat-sinks work extremely well. I have it daisy chained to the tsw2000 and 1 dimmer controls the other and i don't need to be reaching in too far to dim the other light, it's awesome and I can't wait to buy more lights to daisy 4 together👍. I would recommend this light to everyone that grows with leds and have trouble with temperatures getting too high. Even if you grow with HPS lights I think any mars hydro light is a MUST TRY. I like how heavy both lights are because I know it means they are built soild and strong 💪. Very good sign with the frost they are starting to get thanks to bith mars hydro lights. I can notice more frost under the fc4800 and I'm thinking it's from the UV DIODES they put on the fc4800 👍. 2 days ago they all smelt like my nuken, sweet marshmallows. But now I can smell the monkey dough and gorilla glue and skunk monkey coming through👍. I touched a bud on the gorilla and monkey fingers smelt like fruit loops👍 really pleasant smell. Lingered on my fingers for atleast 30 min. I'm glad mars hydro is under priced compared to some brands and for how popular they are. usually companies would charge more. Thanks mars you guys are awesome 🤘🥁🎸. I'm getting a new exhaust fan soon. An 8 inch that will work alot better than my 4 inch lol. Wayyy to small for a 8x8 Grow Tent. Dehumidifier is going almost non stop to try and get the humidity down. I love how both lights on 100% power only raise my temperature 2 or 3 degrees 👍. You can rest your hand on the lights and not much heat comes off them. Obviously there is some heat but for the brightness of the lights and only raising the temp that much is awesome 👌.  And if I wanted to I could remove the driver from the fc4800 and run it on the outside of my tent because the cord is so long but 2 or 3 degrees is barely nothing👍. The girls are starting to bulk up abit now and only 3 weeks of flowering, these lights are awesome 👌.  My last run of monkey dough and gorilla glue didn't start showing alot of crystals until week 4. These were only 2.5 weeks and I started noticing some frost. Next week I will be able to tell more about what these custom bred seeds will be like. I love how the smell is changing now. Didn't want all them to smell like nuken marshmallows lol. It's awesome that I can get right inside the tent to do any work i need👍. Even if I wanted an 4x8 tent. Week 8 Day 5 Hello GD Fam 🖐️🏻 Plants are looking SWELL They have packed on a lot of weight and some pistils are turning but there is still a lot of new white pistils. Trichs are still pretty clear too. Was going to use Dragon Force in week 9 and flush with plain water for week 10 but now I'm wondering whether to push an extra week through them, what do you think GD community? How do you all predict when to prepare for flush? I find it difficult, it's easy enough to spot a plant that's ready based on trichs and pistils etc but how do you predict it 2 weeks early to know when to start using your final additives followed by just water in the final week? I know dragon force and similar products push the plant to do so but if I can get more weeks out of a plant then I shouldn't I do so for a benefit to yield? Cette semaine les plantes ont très bien poussé, je suis très content !! Je me rends compte que j'aurai dû faire une plus grosse défoliation 1 semaine avant de passer les plantes en floraison. Là les plantes sont très touffues et les plantes utilisent de l'énergie pour des feuilles qui n'arrivent pas à obtenir de lumière malgré le palissage. La prochaine fois, je couperai bien plus pour privilégier les têtes supérieures. J'ai augmenté l'intensité lumineuse et j'ai rapproché la lampe et rajouter de l'alga bloom. Je reste très satisfait de ce résultat avec tous les problèmes que j'ai eus lors de cette culture. J'ai perdu plusieurs sondes à ph ce qui a provoqué des problèmes d'absorption, mais j'ai bien rattrapé le coup. Plus qu'à attendre les nouveaux bourgeons 😎

05/10 - (M) - Mom will be cut down today after 48hrs in the pot with lights out - Drying will be as close to 60-60 as possible. 05/10 - (C) - All the ladies are out of pre-flower and and are growing accordingly - The @VIVOSUN drip system is working wonders in helping keep a steady and effective feeding regiment. A new C02 bag will be added this week - PPM/PH are at optimal ranges - The smell is coming in as well, Citrus, Lavender notes are apparent.

Overall a great strain too grow as grows with ease and seemingly without issues even with minimal care. With care she can produce hefty buds, as kept mine small my flowers reflect but still produced great smelling powerfully buds 🌱 Cycle finished in time essentially with ease and I'd be happy too recomend this strain from fastbuds. I will update with more images and videos upon timing complete and give dry weight ect, these girls wont bring much but smell absolute treat. Atm I have tried 1 small nug but still not ready not long untill can trim up, great oils and taste just need a little cure up once finished. Tried uploading longer videos but again says error 👎 have now added few extra videos

Se le ha aplicado un tratamiento insecticida con agua + tierra de diatomeas ( 1 cucharadita por litro de agua), también se le aplica un tratamiento fungicida con una infusión de cola de caballo para evitar futuro moho. A partir de ahora se aplica riego por goteo, 1/3 de la dosis recomendada por el fabricante ya que al estar en exterior y en buena tierra tiene bastante comida. En interior se riega manualmente con dosis de nutrientes recomendadas por el fabricante.
