Flowering Week 28: Blueberry – The Final Countdown Update: 25.09.2025 | Day 202 Hey Growmies, With her African BFF now harvested, the spotlight is fully on Blueberry – and she’s loving the attention. Here’s where we stand as we approach the finish line. Plant Status & Progress - She’s still asking for at least one more week, ideally two, to fully ripen. - Her structure remains gorgeous – long, elegant colas that keep fattening up daily. Compared to Durban’s dense nuggets, Blueberry’s buds are longer and more slender, but don’t let that fool you – they’re packing on weight. - Mold-free so far, even with all the rain. A true testament to her genetics and maybe a little grower’s luck. Aroma & Readiness - The smell is just… wow. Sweet, berry-bubblegum-like, and intensely aromatic even before full maturity. - My goal is to let most of her go until ~20% amber trichomes, but the weather is doing its best to ruin the plan. Weather Woens & Harvest Plans - Rain has been relentless for almost two weeks – nature’s way of balancing out that dry spring. - I may pre-harvest a few top colas next week to ensure I salvage at least some of this deliciousness if mold appears. As Mike Tyson said: “Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face.” Well, the weather is throwing haymakers. Day 42 flowering: What a start to this update with the #3 Mango cream being ready for harvest NOW!!!. She has been maturing very quickly during the last few weeks and I have been concerned that she was somehow going towards a toxicity issue. Her buds began darkening really early in flower and I thought it looked very different to the others. As the last week has passed I have been looking at her trichrones with the microscope as they oustils had all gone majority brown too. They had mostly clouded and a couple of odd amber spheres were visible too. as the week went on I saw more begin to amber so took her out a day ago too have a dark period before trimmed for drying . She is the first I have ever had this quick in decades of growing !. The video shows her colours off well and her maturity to harvest too. @exoticseeds have a winner here. lol she smells amazing too with a really nice icky sticky feel . I will update her progress once trimmed. #1 is the smaller of the 3 remaining ladies now ansneven with the #4 beingna week behind her she is still the smallest in height. Her buds are nice and chunky and just as we hit the budswell period too , so shebshould finish with some nice sized colas. #2 Mango is a beast of a plant and by far the largest. Her main is a beast of a cola already with the side branching really picking up some size now too. A brilliant example of the strain I think. Her main is really tacky to touch and the nice smell it leaves all over my fingers is mouth-watering now. She should yield very well. #4Mango at day 35 looks very like the #3 plant for her bud appearance. slightly different pheno i think. More like a wedding cake strain but still very nice and colourful. She has been using pellets in the soil mix and just waterings but they are not good in my opinion and I have had to add megacrop to keepnher growing well now I waited as long as I dare to see if the pellets helped in flower but even using the second part of the feed has not helped. The megacrop has already begun to colour them back up to a more healthy green so i am hoping I can keep her happy until harvest now. She is pushing out a very nice fruity smell now too. I am looking forward to trying the photoperiod strains I have from exotic now and will be germinating Herz Og and Quick sherbet in a couple of weeks time for the summer run. Top genetics from a great breeder . Thank you Exotic. ###UPDATE###UPDATE###UPDATE### The Mango cream #3 has been in the dark for the past 48hrs and has now been trimmed and is hanging to dry. She will be dried low and slow now for approx 10-14 days at around 15-17°C in a large cardboard box with a steady air exchange. She has a surprising size and weight to her for such a short time from seed and is as finished as any plant i have harvested before . What an amazing little lady she has been to grow She looked a little stunted initially and soon filled the pot she was in. 20L was way too small for these genetics to flourish and at least a 30L would be my advice. Pre flowering has begun and she's all bent up to take advantage of the stretch and see if we can improve the yields of this micro grow. She's definitely strong and becoming increasingly gassy as well. I told ya the good times were coming soon and here they are.

This week we gave some more guanokalong nutrients, more specific for flowering the buds are starting to form and getting bigger slowly day by day! We see lot pf bud sites everywhere! Also applied a small amount of foliar bio insecticide just in case before the plant is too advanced in flowering 29 august: nothing 30 august: water 31 august: nothing 1 September: nothing 2 September: water and guanokalong nutrients ( powder, black pellets, palm tree ashes) 3 September: nothing 4 September: nothing

***** Week 4 Veg - December 26/20 to Jan 1/21 ***** The girls were transplanted on Christmas day, after three weeks in the solo cups from seed. They had been growing well in cups but I must admit that I feel the root mass should have been larger after that time period. I am working with a new nutrient line that I have not used before and have not been adding microbes to the feed schedule thus far.........or hardly any. I feel this is why the root system, while looking healthy, is looking too small. Over the next couple weeks will ensure they get lots of microbes in the 1 gal pots to fill those up with roots before moving to 5 gal pots.......the last upsize for this girls. Counting my weeks for finish I am wishing that I had started these girls a couple of weeks sooner so they may not get to veg in the 5 gal pots for a couple of weeks before flipping to flower. For these girls it is still pretty early on in their lives and not many exciting things to happen the first month of seedlings. We have done one upsize and another to go. Keep the feeding in line and follow the week 1 veg feeding for these girls, bringing up the ppm closer to 700ppm range. Overall, happy with first couple of weeks of veg. Need to get more roots going, we will, but otherwise just give them the time to mature and take it easy......they will come along😀 Little more detail....... Dec 26/20, Day 22 Veg - Dry out day after being transplanted yesterday. - Pots were still heavy. - Let the microbes in the media do their thing and start pushing root growth harder than what has been happening. Dec 27/20, Day 23 Veg - Gave the girls a little splash of the left over nutes from two days ago to add a little oxygen and they can take the extra microbes and bacteria right now😀 - 200ml with Microbial Mass and Piranha @ 2ml/L = 650ppm and 5.7pH - They are really happy today!!!! Loving the bigger pot to let those valuable roots expand into nice fluffy new coco and soak up the nutrients👍 Dec 28/20, Day 24 Veg - feeding day today with more water to get some runoff from the 1 gal pots. They have not been watered to runoff yet. - 0.5L each girl with the full line for this week. No other additives, just the IPP line = 700ppm and 5.7pH - seems a little high to jump from around 300ppm to 700 but will follow the companies recommendations👍 Dec 29/20, Day 25 Veg - Dry out day. - they are happy today......not much to add otherwise today Dec 30/20, Day 26 Veg - going to give them another day without watering. - I feel like I should be watering today but I am not as I am not sure how much moisture they will have consumed and the roots need some air to breath so holding off. - think it is a CalMag only feeding tomorrow. Dec 31/20, Day 27 Veg - feed day today since it has been a couple of days. - 500ml with CalMag @ 2ml, Gold Storm @ 7ml, Sea Storm @ 5ml, Blackstorm @ 2ml, Vitamin B @ 0.5ml = 525ppm and 5.7pH - keeping the humic and fluvic acids going in, plus Kelp and CalMag👍 - the girls are happy and seeing forward movement everyday, looking for more aggressive though from the girls. Jan 1/21, Day 28 Veg - doing very well......like really well💪 - didn’t push them today and left them alone for watering, pots of course still had some weight and I didn’t expect them to need today. - Optic Folier Overgrow given today. Folier spray to give them just an extra boost since everything is otherwise dialed in👍 Finishing off the week very strong!!!!!! They have been looking very healthy and perky everyday. The roots are a concern and will be taking it easy on the nutrients for another week yet and keep up the microbes and beneficials. Will get them in line......my hope is too keep their time in the 1 gals down to two weeks max......maybe 10 days?? Looking pretty good ETS as we move through the first upsize. Her stems are stiffening and they are taking varying temps and humidity in the first weeks well. Feeding has been moderate to light and no signs of any issues......again, still pretty early on but its all good so far😎

07/23/24. Going into week 4 flower Not much to report on this week. Slow going pretty much so far, but starting some bud growth now. Stretch seem done, though it was minimal surprisingly. Most bud sites are sitting right below the trellis lol. Have spotted an angry leaf. Looks like potassium deficiency, so I’ll be upping a tad and see how it goes. Haven’t changed anything else since last updates.

Day 56: I gave 1.5L of clear water to the royal gorilla auto. Day 59: I gave 1.5L of water to the glue gelato auto. I also checked the trichomes, on both plants they are translucents, I'll wait some of them to turn amber. It was predicted a grow of 65 to 70 days from germination to harvest and it did not lie. I might harvest next sunday (day 65) but I hope it can wait until the next tuesday so both plants would have at least 14 days of clear water. Day 60: I gave 1.5L of water to the royal gorilla auto.

To start the week I spread the ladies out taking advantage of the full room and added another light to hit the far side of room. Now room has viparspectra 600w and kind xl 1000. Room is 6'x4'. End of week 8 and they just keep stretching! 12" in 7 days buds are starting to form and lots of bud sites!

I don't have words to describe how happy i am She's getting fat fast, by the day! Also, very very sticky snow And the smell... Very distinct, strong odor, spicy, and earthy like coffee, but very dense, almost like some kind of industrialized cheap snack(?) Little fertilizer just to boost her, considering i'm using a really complete live soil. Watering about each 2 days. Little defoliation. Also i added carbonized rice husk as a soil cover and put up a yellow trap, just to be safe lol I really don't know how to describe it, if anyone smelled something similar before, please share with me :)
