6 days and plant looks healthy and with vissible root throught jiffy so transplanted to final bucket with expanded clay. 5.8 ph and 1,2 ec Day 6 and plant still look really small so i have removed some expanded clay and moved the jiffy more to the bottom. I saw some roots outside the jiffy so good news i guess but not happy at all

Plucked a few leaves that were looking at me funny ;) Not much to do! Very strong lemony smell!! Watered with 2.5 gallons of the above listed nutrients, every 5-6 days. (when the soil becomes 95% dry) 10% of the solution watered runs out the bottom of the pot, and is removed with a wet-vacuum.

Some light defoliation and leaf tucking. Installed the Tray2Grow today and I’m excited. It’s looking great. The silica gave it a really beefy center stem. I dig it. I love this plant so much.

They are growing coots fast! I moved the smaller non-viable plants outside since it’s warm, but they haven’t done much. Think it’s time to say goodbye to those :( I’m just happy with the 5 plants I have now. I’m sure they will all yield nicely!

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Discovered a male plant in with my girls in the bigger tent. No pods had burst, it was only about 10 days in to flower. Moved the male to the small tent and moved the older flowering PT clone to the big tent. The larger plant has less time for seeds to develop and while I want seeds, I still want quality bud as well... trying to minimize pollination as much as I can until I have the chance to selectively pollinate branches on each of my girls. This plant got moved to the large tent and ScrOGed. Here’s to hoping I am able to minimize the pollination. This is an end grow and I don’t have any seeds put back so the male isn’t getting chopped until he does fertilize a few females. So far the male has been reduced to three main colas, I hope to only pollinate one branch on each female. Some random seeds from natural pollination are also okay if it happens. Ignore my commentary on the video unless you just want to know about the strains I have lol... a friend has a clone about the same size of the same strain and asked about my grow since getting the same lights I have.

Hi Guys, This week has been pretty good, the plant at the bottom right just seems to struggle her way through everything, she has loads of roots, they keep growing but for what ever reason she look plain ugly and grows very slowly above the water which is evident when looking at the photo lapse I have uploaded. I bought a Torus PH Perfect capsule which is a chemical free way of stabilising the PH, since that has gone in the brain bucket, I haven’t had to make any PH amendments yet. You can see it at the end of the video. They have all been topped for the 3rd and final time around D32-33. I will train some tips down so they don’t become dominant, but other than that, they’re gonna have a free week or so of growth with no more slicing or cutting before I flip them😊 Hopefully the ugly one will have bounced back by then and I can push forward into the transition with 6 healthy bushes.

Another week down few more to go can't wait!! First ever attempt of growing my own so really impatient to see the final results now and get to the finish line, that said all has went well upto now other than the size they reached haha, really started putting on weight now it seems and they smell lovely, excited to see the buds fatten and progress over these last few weeks up until harvest now, started 5 liberty haze also they are just coming upto 3 weeks now so check that diary out to, any comments info tips for the final stages appreciated

I put the plants into an NFT system couple weeks ago. I could have waited a bit longer for the plants to develop a stronger root system before placing the rockwool cubes into NFT but I was being impatient because of the slow start and wanted to get the plants under proper light. Now two weeks later they are growing well with good root development. I switched the lights to flowering cycle about a week ago so they should start stretching soon. No preflowers yet.

Moved these girls into the flower room at the end of this week.🌺 Gave them their first week of bloom nutes. 💉

Fruity Pebbles in blue planet nutrition has grown really nice. She has a good fruity, sweet aroma. Loaded in trichromes, and looks like she will give me roughly a good quarter lb or more in a dry yield. Everything went fairly well in the grow. No major issue I can think of. Sour wiz came out amazing. Not many problems during her grow. Each pheno came out really different but that’s from my doing. I trained each plant differently to see what the difference would be. Responds really well to stress and training. I can’t tell you in words how great the flowers are. They’re literally coated in trichomes and smell and taste so damn good. Fruity sweet gasoline. Just letting her ripen now, colours coming in.. and fading out nicely. Last few days will be RO water. EC is still lower than what comes out of my tap, 0.5. We are near.. Day 77 - the girls are nicely faded/flushed with RO water, so my EC is sitting lower than what comes out of the tap.. only like white ash burning and to maximise flavour and smells. Shes currently a problem as the small tester bid i took left the whole place smelling very strong to the point where i haven't chopped her yet as the smells too strong even with a carbon filter. (No joke). Thinking to possibly chop either tomorrow or the day after. Not much to report until I've chopped and left to hang dry, I'd normally let the whole plant hang dry but might have to do it differently due to the sheer size of these girls. Once hang dried she will be in jars (might even get some more boveda packs). But yeah, stay tuned for this one 😉 this ones gonna pack a punch.
