This has been a fun week for this Cheese from Humboldt, it has made a mini flower on one of its fan leaves and a bee got wrecked in one of its flowers. I want to say it got stoned, but no idea if they can, the bee was super chill I could pet it and get real close with the macro lens, it did not care one bit. It could have been injured from something else like a predator or pesticide but she was gone by the following evening. Other then that nothing to new, the plant is growing nicely and I have no complaints about it. I keep comparing the smell from it to the other cheese variety from Dinafem I'm growing and they are different but I cant yet focus in on how, will be better adept at doing this once they are both in flower, I got high hopes for both plants. Added in the standard 2 week fertilizer Acti-Sol Tomato & Vegetable 4-6-8, had it fortified into the soil from the get go so did not add extra it in till now. About one month out.

Had one plant hemi, probably due to the high stress training I did last week. All plants looking very healthy, two out of the remaining 4 are several inches taller so may tie these down to even the canopy a little. One pheno is a lot more sativa looking than the others and had a much bigger stretch.

Last week for these ladies. Kept the soil moisture levels very low leading up and did a final heavy de leaf of pretty much anything that doesn’t have trichomes growing on it and will be shutting the lights and turning the heat off for the last 48 hours. Keeping a lot of the sweet leaf on to keep the moisture throughout drying and will do a dry trim. Will be aiming to have a long slow drying period (12-15 days hanging) before I jar them up for curing. Won’t be adding many quality pictures this week since half the time they’re in the dark but will post harvest pictures as they come down :)

Tag 42 Blüte. Und wieder Freitag und die Phase hat begonnen wo die Bud nach der größe nun dicht und schwer werden. Einen P+K Booster Compost Tea bekommen sie auch noch zum letzten mal so können die Mikroben nochmal pushen. Man sieht auch das die Pistills wieder sprießen und die Buds werden immer mehr frostig. Die Blueberry Cupcake wird sehr schön zart rot - lila ich liebe Farben aber ich bin bei der Hitze etwas überrascht aber positiv. Auch der Wasserverbrauch hat wieder etwas zugenommen und sie Trinken 1,5 liter und die in 12l Pots 1 Liter täglich

After 7 weeks of slow grow under LED (i had to wait for my flowering room to be free), the first week of CMH. I intend to let them get used to the new light for one week before launching flowering.

Money maker strain was very satisfying. High THC. Made and smoked with love in 2017.

Still see nitrogen toxicity so im going cut biogrow down to half dose and see how it goes! Besides that all looks well Smells are stepping it up in a couple pheno! On the Chocolate Marshmallow side we have a intense sour fruity pebbles on a pheno that is just unreal And on the double d side we have some rotten tooth chem smells coming through!

Got hydro halos setup because I need to be able to go away for work for a few nights, Was actually really easy to setup and works awesome, I got most the parts plus all my nutes from my local hydro store. I'm using cocoforcannabis.com as a guide for most of this grow and his site includes details on how to setup an auto watering system. At this point I'm still using Professors Go Green for cal-mag and following the GP3 feed chart to mix nutes to the right ratio and then diluting with cal-mag water to target EC (300-400EC for wk 1). Some of the plants had clawing leaves and were really dark green - I read that this could be caused by nitrogen toxicity and I'm concerned this may be due to the Go Green as it seems to be intended as more of a deficiency fix rather than a regular use cal-mag supplement for coco. Some of the leaves on one of the plants started getting rust spots like calcium deficiency, Canna Coco comes pre-buffered and I was adding Go Green so it had plenty, I think the likely case is that nitrogen toxicity may be blocking calcium intake also. I intend to change to Green Planets Pro-Cal which has low nitrogen and is made to work with their line of nutes. Also we named the girls! My roommate and I were pretty baked if you can't tell...

This was a big plant and considering I brought this back in from the outside hard big buds

Monster yield of sticky bud, took 12 weeks from seed, but took over a whole 1.2m tent, lot of maintnwnce so happy its harveat day. Used simple nutrients, foxtailed a little in the end, but slmost every bud in the net weigh around 100g Each, plus whats remaining on the plant

Week 4 day 22 the ladies stop stretching I had to do important deflation for the under canopy and stems where the light is not reaching, I don’t want popcorn buds. So far so good.

Fractal week Week 20 8/11-17 For my outside ladies, Opium, Auto Opium, Fractal, and Lemon Cake not much changed. They continue lovin life outside. These ladies are maturing as many fans are yellowing and falling off. Temps are comfortable following Storm Debby, in the 80s with low humidity. Buds are fattening up, trichomes are minimal at this time but some fragrance is starting to be noticed. These ladies had a long vegetation phase. They germinated April 1 so I could get them hardened off before I went on vacay. They had basically 4 months of veg and the colas are already large, trichomes forming and with 2 more months to go, my expectations for these are heavy yields and sticky dense buds. Fractal had her spa day and had heavy defoliation of her voluminous fan leaves. It took me from 9:30 to 3:30 to trim her. Oh, and there are so many feeder and sugar leaves remaining, She will be a b!tch to trim at harvest. . weeks ago I indicated that I used peony cages ass a scrog, however, a scrog would have kept the colas beneath the grid. Week 6 of flowering 10/23/24 Changed nutrients to fit week 6 Buds are getting even bigger and thicker. Defoliated a little. Noticed a PH of 4.8 in runoff, same as the late stage of flower in my previous grow. After lowering feed EC, CalMag on max strength, flushing with 0.8ec nutes for 3 days in a row, nothing changed and PH stayed the same. Read in a forum thread about constant low PH in the rootzone when growing in coco. Got great info about CEC, water, nutrients and little chemistry from a detailed explanation. (https://www.icmag.com/threads/recurring-problem-with-low-ph-in-coco.338385/page-2#post-10843765) Flushed plants with tap water + calmag, PH 6.5. Used 120L total for 4 plants in 2 days. 1st day: flushed after lights on, did not water until 2 hours before lights off and flushed again. Runoff PH went up a little, but not to the correct range. 2nd day: flushed after lights on and checked runoff EC + PH, of each plant. Fortunately, PH got corrected to 5.8, and I returned to automatic watering 4 times a day (with 10%-20% runoff). Thoughts: In the last grow, I thought I had a problem because of salts buildup in the media with constantly low PH in late flower. I didn't fully correct the problem till chop day. Same problem here in the same stage of flower without the salt buildup. After reading every forum I could find about the problem, I understood that my bloom nutes were the main problem because of their chemical composition. The coco ability to exchange ions lead to the low PH in the rootzone. It got worse quickly because I did not use any tap water with the feedings, so the PH could swing easily and drastically without resistance. After I looked online for the T.A. feeding chart, I saw they used TriPart Grow till week 7 of flower, the Nitrogen type they are using will up the PH. CocoForCannabis chart that I'm using, has not enough nitrogen to combat the bloom nutes PH down effect in flower. It gets even worse with RO water because there are no minerals that can resist PH down. Now I'm using 30% tap water with rest RO water, T.A. TriPart feeding chart with calmag and silica. Hopefully I have corrected the problem for the rest of the grow. It wasn't easy, because there were lots of variables that worsened the problem quickly. Now I'm checking runoff PH and EC daily. Update on next week :)

Day 15/Day 3: + Speed is finally starting to take off. Should show excellent growth this week. Seedling coming along nicely for 3 days. Popped 5/19. Will keep humidity dome on for the week with 1 mist per day of straight RO water. OG + Speed looks horrible. Really stunted and has struggled ever since she was transplanted. Definitely germinate in paper towels and plant direct to final pot next time. We'll see what happens with her; she is trying to hang in there however. There is some new growth be it extremely slow. Might end up with one small cola. We shall see... OG + Speed is currently in a 1gl pot filled with Fox Farms Ocean Forest. She was fed a light feeding of nutes 5/21/23. First big feed for Day 15 + Speed: 4ml FloraMicro, 6ml FloraGro, 3ml FloraBloom, 2ml CALiMAgic, 1ml RapidStart, 1ml Floralicious Plus and 2.5ml Armor Si. RO water PH 6.0 Temp: 75º RH: 63% PPFD: 450 VPD: .53 kPa Day 16/Day 4: + Speed looks about the same as yesterday with a tiny bit of new leaf growth. Checking the light I noticed the PPFD around 350 where she was sitting. I think the tripod was blocking some light. Moved around now about 450 PPFD. We'll see if that helps her speed up (pun intended) Applied LST to + Speed. New + Speed shows slightly larger leaves from yesterday so progressing and OG + Speed looks like she is thriving! She's trying to hang on and do something. No water no feed. Temp: 76º RH: 61% PPFD: 475 AVG VPD: .46 kPa Day 17/Day 5: + Speed looks healthy and happy. Taking to LST nicely. New + Speed sprout doing it's thing. Will feed tomorrow. Temp 77º RH: 55 % PPFD: 500 AVG VPD: .6kPa Day 18/Day 6: All is well the nursery. Moved up and turned up the lights. Fed 250ml of 4ml FloraMicro, 6ml FloraGro, 3ml FloraBloom, 1ml RapidStart, 2.5ml ArmorSi, 2ml CALiMAGic and 1ml Floralicious in RO water PH 6.2 PPM: 750 Solution Temp: 69º. Tent Temp: 77º RH: 60% PPFD: 575 VPD: .44 kPa New + Speed got 25ml of .3ml RapidStart (All per Gal) Day 19/Day 7: Looking good. Tent Temp: 77º RH: 60% PPFD: 550 VPD: .44 kPa Day 20/Day 8: Still looking good. New growth. Smaller + Speed still trying to catch up. She'll be small but should still produce. Fed another 250ml RO water with 1ml RapidStart PH: 5.7 Tent Temp: 77º RH: 60% PPFD: 550 VPD: .44 kPa Day 21: End of Veg Week 3! Looking strong and healthy so far. Almost feeding/watering daily at this point, will up the solution volume and see if it will last a day or two longer. Lagging + Speed still truckin' along. New + Speed seedling looking a little shriveled. Fed 350ml-400ml of 4ml FloraMicro, 6ml FloraGro, 3ml FloraBloom, 1ml RapidStart, 2.5ml ArmorSi, 2ml CALiMAGic and 1ml Floralicious in RO water PH 6.2 PPM: 750 Solution Temp: 69º.
