Hi all I hope you had a wonderful Christmas 👍 So I got curious a few days ago and decided to have a fiddle with one of the buds from the Girl scout cookies plant. I let it dry in a paper bag first and then had a sqizz at it. After I tore it apart I was pleased to find a nice fat healthy seed (see 1st pic) well after that I thought to myself Bloody hell mate there must be a heap more of those fellas in there then, so with that in mind I harvested the whole plant. After that lot was dried I tore into it looking for more seeds (see video) but unfortunately I only ended up with the three viable seeds the others I found were either green or already damaged. Not to worry as atleast I have those three to attempt germination with which is better than a poke in the eye with a burnt stick as my old man likes to say. Ive partaken in a few bonghits as I write this of the Girl scout cookies bud that I harvested and I can tell you its some nice shit man 😁 The Gelato Plant will be harvested tomorrow and Im hoping that may have some seed aswell. The whole purpose of this experiment was to cross the Barneys Farm Red Diesel Feminised Pollen I created with a good tasty strain in an attempt in creating seed. So as far as that part goes & even tho I only got the three seeds I feel it was mostly a Success. I will definatey need to refine both my Pollen collecting and Pollinating techniques to achieve better results. Thankyou to all who followed along I enjoyed doing this diary. This grow was pretty simple ! They went a total of 103 days from seed! Very trichomy dense buds with the smell of Berries vanilla and skunk ! This is a must try for you all Fastbuds has the greats!!!

Update; February 14th, 2023. From the moment I flipped to flower, they’ve been exploding with growth! They are super healthy! They grow back and fill in so fast after defoliating, no matter how heavy I go. I’ve added the supplemental lighting (Viparspectra 600) this week to really get the most I can. Figuring out a way to mount it higher.

Per fortuna sono riuscito a tornare in tempo e le mie piante stanno bene! Non ho potuto monitorare per niente e mi sono affidato alle poche indicazioni che avevo lasciato e non posso lamentarmi…in questa settimana i fiori sono cresciuti e le piante hanno raggiunto la loro altezza massima, alcune stanno già scaricando le riserve di nutrienti e alcune foglie sono diventate gialle, vedrò se aggiungere un ultima volta il Top Dress di Dogma Organics per dare loro supporto per le ultime settimane…per ora sono super soddisfatto sia delle genetiche di Fast Buds che del super soil di Dogma Organics..è tutto così semplice ed efficace per queste ragazze e il risultato lo vedi già dalla crescita vegetativa, le piante hanno solo bisogno della tua attenzione per il ciclo asciutto/ bagnato ed il resto andrà bene sicuro!!!

Everything after germination has been pretty smooth. The plants in veg had a couple small brown spots due to under watering but no extreme signs or any abnormalities.

These cali genetics are blowing my mind 🤯 super sticky, very frosty rock dence buds with extra strong smells. All 3 strains are 10 out of 10, very impressed. Done last defoliation few days ago, preparing for the harvest so it's much easier. Stalks are super fat, same as buds. Got big surprise from Atami, plant food, and many extras. Crazy. Thanks a lot guys. 💚 Start adding you Bloombastic food already. They love it. Smell is mad. I think most of plants ready in week or so.

Happy with the over all bud development again this week the smell has really picked up now going into the final weeks. Checking the trichomes regularly planning to possibly start flushing next week all 3 plants are showing signs of colour fading of the larger leafs. Still defoliating and using some sticks to help expose more of the lower bud sites have also added an additional fan to help airflow. Increased the light output from 90% to 100% ☀️ 🤞🏻

About to harvest was definitely a better experience than the first go unfortunately only 3 of 5 seeds popped and only 2 were the dolato I paid for

This week was a lot going on! The girls started to flower... The ones in the pouches stayed small because I think they didn't get enough water. I'm gonna take care of that from now on, so there is still hope they grow more in the next 2 weeks. Stopped with B52 at the beginning of the week. Just did LST and Leaf-Tucking dail. They are responding well to training but the temperatures are getting colder so I'm gonna have to find a way to keep them above 20C during the 4 hours lights-off time. Maybe i also find something to get them off the ground. Light is at approx. 80cm, 240W since the beginning of the week. Gonna lower it when they grow some more leaves. Saving the 300W for flowering. Also, I misted once with Cal-Mag this week, just to help the grow. That's pretty much it for this week, I hope they grow more because there is plenty of space in the tent. This harvest was my first true harvest. I worked on coco choir for the first tiem and it was really easy and I will work again in the future with coco choir and fabric pots. The strain was really easy to grow and could handle stress pretty well. I would advise against transplanting and maybe giving her less N during early flower. I am really proud for this girl! I cant wait to smoke her. edit: Dried under the sun and smoked just to test it with some friends and we all loved it. Strong taste and smell and a very strong sativa high the rest will cure for a month after drying. I will do another smoke report in a week!

Plant is starting to look really nice and purple! Just been dunking the solo into water with feed to keep it moist! That’s the hardest part. Otherwise, just keeping her from falling over is the only thing! ✌️💚🌿💨
