Auto Malawi × Northern Lights – Woche 8 Die Malawi hat diese Woche tatsächlich nochmal etwas zugelegt. Nachdem sie zwischendurch eher so aussah, als hätte sie beschlossen, den Grow persönlich zu boykottieren, werden die Colas langsam dicker. 😅 Vor allem im Vergleich zur letzten Woche ist sichtbar mehr Blütenmasse vorhanden. Wirklich kompakt werden die Buds allerdings nicht – die Struktur bleibt ziemlich luftig und fluffig. Dafür hat sie mehrere schöne längliche Colas aufgebaut und mittlerweile auch eine ordentliche Schicht Harz angesetzt. Optisch geht sie inzwischen deutlich in Richtung Herbst. Die großen Fächerblätter werden immer heller und gelber, teilweise kommen rötliche und violette Töne dazu. Die Zuckerblätter und Blüten sehen dagegen noch wesentlich besser aus. Nach den Problemen der vergangenen Wochen scheint sie jetzt einfach alles, was noch da ist, in die Blüten zu stecken. Viele Pistillen sind inzwischen orange/braun geworden und haben sich zurückgezogen, an einigen Stellen kommen aber weiterhin frische helle nach. Sie ist also definitiv weit fortgeschritten, aber fertig sieht sie für mich noch nicht aus. Unterm Strich: Diese Woche endlich sichtbar dickere Buds – nur eben Malawi-typisch eher fluffig als steinhart. 😁

GDP 2 IS 18.5 INCHESS TALL. #2 IS IN A 3 GALLON POT, I THINK THATS WHY SHE IS SO MUCH SMALLER. COULD ALSO JUST BE GENETICS. DAY 43. DAY 44: EACH PLANT HAS STRETCHED ANOTHER INCH. GDP 1 IS 28.5 AND GDP 2 IS JUST UNDER 20 INCHES TALL. NOT TOO BAD. LETS SEE IF THEY STRETCH ANYMORE. ITS SLOWED OVER THE PAST COUPLE DAYS FOR SURE. DAY 45: ADDED ENHANCEMENT PUCKS FOR FLOWER. 1 PHOTO RED FLOWER BOOSTER. 1 UVA TRICHOME BOOSTER. DAY 48: GDP 1 IS 30IN TALL TODAY. GDP 2 IS 20.5 INCHES TALL. BOTH PLANTS APPEAR HAPPY AND HEALTHY. LEAVING THE UVA TRICH BOOSTER LIGHT ON FOR THREE HOURS AT A TIME. DAY 49: GDP 1 STILL 30IN TALL. GDP 2 CLOSER TO 21 INCHES BUT NOT QUITE THERE.

04/04/2021 Starting to shape up nicely and flower has started on both GSC & Blue Dream, time for a banana peel tea 1 tbls to 2 lt. water bottle will try two tbls to 2 liter next week to see if they will tolerate it.👍

Day 50 (First Grow): "Hey everyone! Exciting news: we’ve added a new member to our grow tent – a praying mantis! 🦗 Her species is Timor shield mantis, and she still needs a name. We decided to get her to help with pest control naturally. Praying mantises are excellent predators and can help keep unwanted insects away from our plants. Feel free to suggest a name for her! Any tips or fun facts about keeping a mantis in the grow tent are also welcome! Day 54 (First Grow): Hey everyone! Big update today: we’ve switched the timer to a 12/12 light cycle to initiate the flowering phase! 🌸 Our plants have developed a nearly complete and dense canopy, and we believe they’re ready to start blooming. This change should encourage them to shift their energy towards producing buds. For those following along, here’s a quick recap: We've implemented a SCROG net to manage the canopy and ensure even light distribution. We've introduced a Timor shield mantis for natural pest control. The plants have responded well to all adjustments and are looking healthy. Now that the flowering phase is starting, we’re excited to see how they develop over the next few weeks. Any tips or advice for optimizing this phase? Let us know in the comments!

This week has progressed nicely - the plant is starting to work on fresh leaves and is pushing the second node now. This plant is looking really healthy and strong so far! Today marks week three - so I will be switching my light to 18/6 until flower - which wont be for a while since I do mainlining - generally my veg time is stretched out quite a bit because of that. I will be keeping this updated as I go along and I am excited to share the progress! This is organic living soil - no bottles - nothing made in a lab. Today I harvested about two pounds of worm castings from one of my worm bins - you can see in the pictures some friends decided to come along for the ride! I mixed the castings with basalt, glacial rock dust, crab meal, kranja cake, kelp meal, and neem meal - then top dressed with that mixture, working it down into the soil a bit with my fingers, and then watered that all in with about a gallon of water. I really like to grow in this large raised bed - its the entire size of my tent which makes it completely impossible to move during a grow cycle but I love the fact that each plant in this 2x4 raised bed essentially has 50 gallons of soil all to itself! her pistils are definitely showing up. hoping she would grow thicker in the next 2-3 weeks. first time growing a sativa and seems pretty skinny so far compared to indicas.

Flushing begins for the Og kush and blueberry. All three plants are incredibly sticky, stanky, dense and heavy! The OG Kush plants are blowing my mind, I'm amazed at how much they have fattened up the last week. The super lemon haze starts week 7 and is also sticky and stanky, she's also starting to pack on weight and density.

Fresh outta darkness. 48hrs of lights out. Chopped and now hang drying in a 2x2 Tent. 70 degrees and 45 Rm. Happy with the results of my first grow.

Lots of growth this week and working to solve the humidity issues - Jack had a trim! I think it's probably because of the size of my pots but these girls just won't stop growing! I bit the bullet and did some light defoliation on Jack this week - it didn't seem to phase her at all so I'm a bit more confident about going further. I decided to giver her a bit of a trim, mostly the lower fan leaves. It was because she was so dense and tucking the leaves wasn't really working out, she bounced back fine so now I'm thinking of giving her a bigger trim - not sure I've got the guts though! I've kept feeding her a little bloom every couple of days, not sure if it's helping with her size and density but I don't really want to stop. Flowers are developing but not as quickly as those on the Chocolate Orange, Jack doesn't smell quite as much as her any more either. To fix the humidity issues I diverted the extraction duct to another room which seems to have made a big difference, RH is now consistently under 57% and usually around 55% - still not ideal but I don't think I'll get it much lower. I've moved the fan so that there's plenty of air moving over the canopy - hopefully enough to keep away the mould as the grow progresses.

Oh mama! We're getting close to chop day! Look at these top buds though, literally a morphed golf ball on top. Can't wait to taste that golf ball. 😁 The plant has been going great throughout the entire cycle, hopefully things finish as they've been going. No signs of deficiencies a little excess maybe so I've been laying off on the nutes a bit.. leaves are healthy green this will be the last week of nutes. Only water from now on.

Hello growers welcome to harvest day 82 I did cut her down at day 75 so very quick plant indeed for the first 10 days I gave her water from my tap not ph at all from there she got bio grow/bloom until I see her first pistols from there I gave her bio grow/bloom/top max/bio heaven up to day 61 I then flushed for two weeks then cut her down I had her in a 20/4 light cycle from start to finish she was very easy to grow and has give me some very nice buds smelling like pear drops bang bang that’s it for now happy growing and be safe ✌️

Just changed the nutrient solution & rotated the plants. 💧🌿🌺
