Let’s go Day 36 !!! This week went real great, girls built up a lot of structure, and stayed super healthy ! Today they got fed just water phd at 6.5 ! They been really loving that balance! I also removed a lot of under trim since we are going into preflower , so had to shave up those legs lol ! It’s really great for them , the love that airflow , but don’t take off too much or you could shock your plants so be careful ! Can’t wait to see what these girls do this week ! During the middle of this week I decided to stop the outward training of the branches & the allow vertical growth for beginning bud site formation . I don’t want to miss the beginning flower stretch kinda need it 😂. Decided to break the apical dominance of the main stem by LST’ing down . I noticed it was leagues ahead of the rest of the plant because it hung over the side of the pot so since I need to start slowing it’s vertical growth I figure now Is also time to get the rest of the canopy to catch up leaving me to space things accordingly later when/if necessary . Also decided to go ahead and do my 1st & last additional feeding since these girls where planted all I’ve had to do this grow was water when dry & train her to the best of my abilities. Really sorry for anyone that was actually following and wanted to see updates but I had to take some time away and neglected this project. My friend/neighbour/weed mentor passed away and I just haven’t felt the same. Moving along, after cleaning up most of the big fan leaves I decided to just switch into flower… I have 3 seedlings of Tropicana poison F1 saved out of 40. This was the next project of my friend that has passed. My goal is to finish this grow and honor my late friend with a grow diary of his plants. I’m sure he’ll be smiling above. 36 hours of darkness before proceeding to switch lighting to 12/12 Added 3 feedings a day now, but reduced the amount fed. Food has been given extra liquid mycorrhiza and bacteria. Will be using PLAGRON: Green sensation 4-in-1 in addition to megacrop at week 4 of flowering and see if there’s any benefits

The girl continues to mature:) the flowers look shiny and sticky, the smell is amazing:) I think she has a maximum of 2 weeks left :).

Wednesday, January 27 Fed plants yesterday(26JAN) 3/4ga each plant. 2tsp/ga ratio of Bud Candy pH’d @6.3’s. Have a compost tea brewing that I will feed them tomorrow. Compost tea is comprised of 1 Cup of worm castings and a 1/4 Cup of bone meal powder. Bone meal powder is a great source of calcium and phosphorus to help in the flowering stage. I also added 1.5tsp of Great White Myco root powder to 3ga of compost tea. This morning I noticed little white hairs growing out of pistils all over the plants! Finally, signs of early flowering since switching to a 12/12 light schedule this past Saturday. Plants have shown a sizable amount of stretch in the past couple weeks so I’ve projected at about 6-8 weeks from now for a harvest? I’ll keep y’all posted on the days ahead and as always, stay safe and happy growing💚✌️🌱 Thursday January 28 Fed plants about 3/4 ga each of compost tea @6.3pH. Another easy week, weather has been beautiful! Lot’s of ☀️. They have been very thirsty as a result, I was able to get three waterings in this week. Just keep bringing them in and out of their pop up greenhouse daily. Started to taper down some of the feeds, two plain oh waterings and one feed this week. I don’t really “flush” but I do taper down to just ph water for the last few feeds. Happy growing folks! 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨

Day 14 post flip. Parent plants. Parents are growing really well. Going to top here again soon Clone #1 Got cut a month ago it had balls Clone #2 Growing really well. First one to really start developing buds. About 18 days flip. This one seems the most standard in every category. Well rounded plant so far. Will see how buds grow. 45 inches Clone #3 This thing is no longer squat. It started off really slow, post flip it exploded. Close nodes it seems. Really excited to see if this turns out more indica or sativa. 47 inches Clone #4 I had to super crop this thing. It exploded from the very beginning. Absolute monster in such a small space. Can easily fill out a 4x4 will one of these things in a 10 gallon container. 36+9.5+10=55.5” Overall We are finally at the most important part of any pheno hunt, gotta see how these buds form. Plants are growing amazing. Shout out bioall365 and build a soil nutrients I amended bioall365 which is loaded already with some build a soil nutrients and it’s been hot but no burning. Haven’t had to give them anything but water and plants are still showing signs it’s hot. Got lots of supports going. Her growth seems to be slowing down a bit which is helpful. She’s also showing no signs of light stress. Under a 400w led eating it like it’s nothing. Loving these girls. God bless!

Fruity Pebbles in Blue Planet nutes, is doing good. She started to show some deficiency signs in minor spots. I increased the feed for what I seen ptesent. Potassium and cal mag. She has been stretching good. I cleaned out some of the under side as well today. Everything should be good to go at this point. Start of week 9, getting fat

She’s been chopped and trimmed—final weight came in at 105g. The buds are dense, pleasantly heavy, and absolutely beautiful. They shimmer like green velvet under the light, a texture and glow that feels almost surreal after weeks of care and anticipation. It’s a satisfying end to the cycle, and seeing the results laid out makes all the effort worthwhile. Now onto drying and curing, with hopes of preserving every bit of that richness.

The final week for both Candy Hustle phenos has come to an end, and I’m really happy with how these two finished. There was a noticeable difference between the two plants towards the end. #2 definitely finished faster than #1, although I decided to harvest both together on August 2nd. The light stayed unchanged until the end at around 1000–1200 PPFD. They received their final watering three days before harvest with RO water + CalMag. After one final day under the lights, both plants were given 48 hours of darkness before being cut. Visually, these plants are probably some of the frostiest from this run. The buds and surrounding leaves are absolutely covered in trichomes and almost look sugar-coated, combined with some beautiful dark purple colors. ❄️💜 The two phenotypes also developed very different terpene profiles. #1 is very close to the breeder description for me, a strong grape aroma with mint/menthol and something fresh in the background. #2 went in a completely different direction and reminds me much more of soap mixed with a Skittles-like sweetness. 🍇🌿🍬 Both plants were also used for my DryRocket test. I separated some of the nicest buds from each plant to dry inside the DryRocket, while the remaining harvest was dried using my normal method. This gives me a direct comparison from the same plants under two different drying conditions. I’ll cover the results and my experience with the DryRocket separately in the harvest report. Overall, a beautiful finish to these two Candy Hustle phenos. Despite sharing the same genetics, they showed some very noticeable differences in finishing time, structure and especially aroma. Now it’s time to see what remains after drying and curing. 👀🔥

After another weekend spent away from home, on day 26 both Opiums present at 30 cm height, having grown big and bushy. Their thirst increased, I will water them when their next day starts. And do some more LST. Not too long until I can install the scrogging net. I am really impressed by their progress. They developed a lot of branching side branches and look really healthy and bushy. In contrast to what I wrote before, I think I can stay a few days longer with the current 80% 18/6 lighting scheme. Leaf positions do not show signs of light hunger, so no reason to change. Watered them with 1.5 l each on their 27th morning, this time adding some flower fertilisers too. Compensated their relief with some more LST. I can see in timelapse video they are tmelselves compensating this stress easily; it’s amazing to see how fast they turn their heads. You’ll see soon too. For reference: Pot diameter is approx. 25 cm. So lady #1 spreads about this much, lady #2 is even about 10 cm more. Guess they’ll make a very dense scrog surface, but first let’s have them have their stretch. Day 28 evening revealed ladies are getting thirstier. The holey pots might be helpful in root development, but they are not when it comes to keeping the tent clean. Because of their structure, water runs out in respectable quantities each time they are fed, which takes a long time to evaporate and adds to air humidity of course. Which on the other hand is currently quite ok. Outside air temperatures are around 30 °C the last days, so a bit more humidity helps to keep the VPD in range. Which is quite ok as I still cannot complain about their growth – around 2–3 cm each day currently. Grow video for day 28 (sorry about the interferences! Due to the control hard- & software being offline I cannot silence the blower(s) when a photo is taken anymore) shows steady growth and very vivid movements again. Dropping of their leaves around their evening is possibly due to me watering them again as soil was surprisingly dry already. On their day 29 evening, it’s clear to see how much they are stretching: They really gained 5 cm since yesterday! Lights are close to 30 cm, so I think I’ll reposition things a bit when their next week starts. Attached video shows the day’s progress. They say you cannot scrog an Automatic but seeing the development speed and bushiness I decided to give it a try nonetheless. I guess the buds can profit from being a bit more apart from each other if I handle to fiddle them through the holes in time. I rearranged the lights to be at about 45 cm apart from the tops and set the lights to 100% at a 16/8 lighting scheme, waking them up one hour later than before and sending them to sleep one hour earlier. Last day of this week, day 30, shows that growth speed has even increased. Lady 1 crosses the scrog net already which is positioned at 46 cm above soil. Gave them slightly enhanced water again, 2 l each.
