HO-HO-HO! 😀 Final week of flowering for this girl! She got a nice ice bath before going into darkness for 72 hours. This is the third time I've done this (been increasing from 24 hours - 48, and now 72) and I'm seeing a huge difference every time. Most will call this bro science, but hey, whatever works for you! And in this case, whatever works for me :) I can definitely say the red came out a LOT more with the lower temps from the lights off period, so can't wait to see how she'll look once trimmed up. Just starting to poke out their first divided leaves. Put some mushroom mulch around the base of the stem to prevent the cover crop from moving in too close and blocking out light to the tiny seedling. It's been raining here today and it looks like it gonna continue but our cold frame allows us to control how much water gets on the seedlings (which is nice). Gave them their first compost tea consisting of green and brown vegetative matter, worm castings, some mushroom compost, and General Hydroponics subcultures M and B. Used the leftover vegetative material as mulch. Trimmed cover crop again.

Hydro will be going in the flower tent once this run is wrapped up. I’m all out of horizontal space which is limiting the goal of gaining more width. Week 6 flower wrapped up I’ll say she’s the last one showing signs of bulking now from what I’m seeing she might out up the fattest colas in the tent once complete.
