He who stops is lost, as an old saying goes I don't know exactly what the origins are, so here's a new Zamnesia season. We are in the middle of winter and despite growing in an area that isn't the warmest in Europe, it's really cold now. It's 16-18 degrees Celsius in the house and we need to bring the temperature of the propagator growbox between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius. So we first placed a layer of those 1 cm thick "rubberized" floors that are used for gyms, they are easily found on Amazon and are very useful for insulation. Then a heated resistance mat and then the closed propagator on top. Inside with our seedlings and the light on at minimum 20% we reached 24 degrees, not bad in fact the germination is proceeding very well. 100% opening of the seeds in water and almost all of them are opening in our biodegradable peat pots. ----- Our Green Cure F1 Hybrid Auto are growing fast at the time of the photos one was born now it seems that the second one is coming out. We need some CBD in our diet, we overdo it a bit with THC we use it to not go too crazy and not have the symptoms of excessive use of THC. We really like the genetic line and the fact that they are f1, let's go! It is a CBD Sativa Dominant strain that will probably be sent to our friends at AWC for the CBD category, let's see how it comes out... WARNING: Placenta Problems ---- ALWAYS look very carefully at the seedlings, if the seed or the placenta prevent the opening of the cotyledon leaves the plant dies after a while. Got everything hung up. Stripped the fan leaves and broke down into sections. Run 60/60 or as close as i can get until the stems snap.

This week I had to remove my red light (sad because red leds are the most efficient one in terms of pffd per wattage) the reason for that is bleaching of the tips. Scientists found out that cultivars start bleaching if u hit 600 umol/m2/s red light (just red photons and not every strain bleaches). Besides that I did nothing to them. From now on I will try to keep the temps low but with a pretty small day/night temp difference. Now preservation of terps and maturing are my points of interests. Some nice colours are getting through … that was supported by some nitrogen deficiency. This was Not on purpose but better than burning them with nutrients. (Nitrogen is required to produce chlorophyll, which is Green. If u reduce the nitrogen towards the end you can support other pigments to come through.) *Week 5 of flowering* Mimosa 1 & 2 are progressing accordingly, 0 signs of deficiencies. Though both plants are coming along fine Mimosa 1 is lagging a little behind but not a cause for concern. Water/Nute feeds have increased and the light cycle remains the same. Mimosa (2) appears to have shrunk in size but that is incorrect, Main colas were tied down to trellis.

Проверил натяжение, центральный ствол туго натянул шнур растяжки, пытаясь выпрямиться после освобождения всех веток от натяжения. Пока ещё рано отпускать растяжку ствола, сделаю это после остановки вертикального роста. Ещё одна неделя "вытягивания" впереди, но цветы уже довольно быстро набирают массу. После обрезки неперспективных веток внизу растения, у меня чесалась рука, которую я запускал в гущу листвы. Это словно крапива, жжет, вызывает раздражение и пока не вымоешь руку с мылом в теплой воде, жжение не уходит. Девочка достаточно липкая, чтоб стать в одну линию с уже выращенными девочками и посоревноваться с ними в эффекте и урожае. Запах изменился до неузнаваемости, теперь она не пахнет кошкой, скунсом.... то, как она пахнет, невозможно описать обычными словами...это похоже на запах разнотравья в одном букете. Кажется что тут смесь запахов: чебрец, мята, мать-и-мачеха, плакун-трава и чертополох. Запах сладкий, медовый, с небольшим пряным горьковатым шлейфом. Внешне цветы начали становиться похожими на молодые одуванчики, слегка подкрасив свои стигмы в желтый цвет. После обрезки слаборазвитых мест я попил чай, заварив на свежую в кипятке несколько молодых цветов и листьев. Замечательное пойло, очень полезное для внутренних органов, особенно для пищевода, желудка и двенадцатиперстной кишки. Поднял лампу на 10 сантиметров, сохраняя расстояние между лампой и верхушкой растения - 60 сантиметров. Week 4 closes out. She took to the topping really well, even if the LST turned into HST when i noticed i ripped her armits open. Oh well 😁 But she is doing more than fine, and i dont plan on stopping her torture anytime soon 💀 Defoliated a bit here and there so it doesnt get too crowdy, also the lower leaves were fully shaded so they had to go. Also some air circulation near the bottom of her was needed. The first week that I took pictures. The seeds all popped within 24 hours of paper towel germination, after 24 hours in h2O2 and water. Transferred to super soil mix and rockwool respectively.

Week 6 flower, half way there! Buds are starting to fill in now and getting some decent frost. A couple of tops are getting more light than others, and fattening a bit more and looking real nice. It looks like there is some purple starting to come out at the tops. Also spotted some discolouration on a few leaves closest to the light, so I turned the one light down to 60-75%, no need to push it at this point and burn her up! She will go as fast as the soil and environmental conditions will allow her to. Hand watered in Gaia Green Soluble Seaweed Extract 0-0-17, otherwise water drip is running on same schedule. Just using straight tap water that sits in a 30 gallon reservoir with a submergible water pump running 24/7 breaking surface and aerating water. Water comes out the tap @ 7ph and less than 15ppm. Nutrients are the same as the week before, as they seem to be happy and healthy, changing out the res didn’t seem like an efficient use of nutrients. I have added 15ml of tea and 10ml of CaMg+ into the 55l res over this past week. As I could see the slightest touch of chlorosis on the biggest girl of the bunch. This has naturally raised my EC from 0.72 to 0.89. Both plants either side of centre were topped on D25. They were both working on their sixth node at the time and I cut them both down to their third node, but just below the forth (so it has a stump). Middle will probs be topped in a couple of days time, it still has some catching to do. I will be changing the res out on D27, but I will post that nutrient mix on next weeks journal.
