Hey Cannafam 💚 Its been a mixed week im the tent for my gals. lets start with the low and end up high, mmmmmmmm high 😃 The environment has been a real challenge again this week as were having another heatwave and although humidity has come down temps have shot up further and ive struggled to keep the tent under 30c, again the side lighting has been kept fown on level 3 to keep heat down so they are on about 300ppfd from above and 150 ppfd from the sides currently, extraction has been turned up but tbh its not making much difference as the tent is in a cupboard. I have started opening the doors when the lights are on at night but as the bedroom last night was still 27c with the windows open!(yes i haven't slept). VPD has also been whey above where i want it also ranging from 1.5 - 1.7 all week. The magnedium def has progressed so no feed this week and im gonna flush again before anything else as they are locked out and theres no point to keep chuckin calmag at them. Now on the highs, flowering is coming along well and ive now supercropped the top of the second plant as the other one seemed to respond, its the first time i've tried this so quite interesting to see how it turns out but flowers on top are looking tasty. Buds also have allot more substance this week and are looking good 😊 Smell is also increasing and theres some lovely citrus notes coming out. Thats all for now thanks for stopping by 😊✌️

Making a nice few tops. Been such a heavy sativa im not use to growing one. Kinda in new Territory. So many Shoots so close together. I'm gonna have to top them again at some stage. There's just too many and they're too short. They're the tops of what would of been great colas. But, I've a different agenda here. And I need more colas to fill my net. 6 sets from each plant won't cut it. Growth is good and steady this week. (Sadly, same can't be said for her in RT, they're pushing through) updates will come soon. Strong like Sativa Structure. Missing a bit of a stretch at the moment. Think I might throw her into a few days of 12-12 and then flip her back into veg to stretch her nodes to 50cm2 net. The legs of the frame go into the pot. So its moveable. Let's hope I do a decent job. The one that was started in the root riot cube, with the Broken stem. She is the biggest, by a ways I wonder if that's from an early break (HST) in her stem. Will for sure be testing this with clones. Happy with how these past weeks went. This is where the good times end. (For now) mag issues are looming. Day 95 harvest of last 2 of 4 plants. 10 days after first two were harvested. BB1 and GG1 seem to have denser buds than BB2 and GG2. I think the yield will be greater also. First two plants dried for 6 days at 45-50 RH and 65-70F and put into quart Mason jars with humidity meters and pouches at 62 RH. Once second two have dried, will update dry weight for all 4 plants in Harvest week.

When attempting living soil in smaller containers, replenishing soil nutrients & refreshing biology often is an absolute necessity to keep root expansion & activity from stagnation. I top dress heavily every three weeks. Total Tent Entry Time-40 min Cover crop chop & dropped then integrated into existing straw mulch. Top dress of 2 cups worm castings, 1 cup Build a Flower, 1/2 cup Craft Blend, 1/4 cup Kashi Gold, 2 tbsp Ocean Blend, 2 tbsp Kiss My Frass, blended together & mixed into mulch/cover crop layer. 6 cups of reclaimed & re-ammended soil, with fresh nematodes mixed in, used to cover mulch/cover crop/top dress layer of each pot. Hand watered each container with 1/2 gallon plain 6.5 ph/11 ppm reservoir water, mixed with 1/2 tbsp each of Azos, coconut water powder, & quillaja saponaria extract powder. Finally, added a 3/4 inch layer of fresh straw mulch that has been chopped to 1 inch lengths, & soaked in 3/4 gallons reservoir water mixed with 1/2 tsp each of coconut water powder, quillaja, & 1/4 tsp Recharge, giving me Azos at the root zone & recharge at the mulch level while keeping them apart. DLI raised to 31 VPD raised to 0.90-0.95 kPa Worm activity high in both containers & even saw some juveniles in the cap layer. Expression #1 Height-5" Width-14"×13" -Week Prior- Height-3 3/4" Width-4" Expression #2 Height-6.5" Width-12"×11" -Week Prior- Height-6" Width-4" Week Total Entry Time-41 min

This week I can see the bud sites starting to stack up — she’s looking happy and healthy. Whenever a big fan leaf blocks the bud sites, I just snip it off. I’m still fighting to get the RH down, though. By the end of next week, I’ll give her a nice fresh haircut.

Day 57 from seed and these BCN’s are smelling the best so far. Very citrusy smell! I think this is my last week of feeding these girls, and straight to flushing the plants next week. Im going to give them an extra week or two and see how it goes!

This plant did not need a lot of defoliation if any at all. I just trimmed some of the lower nodes off as they would not get all that much light once it started to stretch and tied back some of its branches so it was a bit more even. The growth pattern on this plant vs the others in the tent this aorund is completely different. its so floppy and bendy, I have a feeling I am going to need to break a lot of branches come flower time to keep it from sky rocketing to the top of the tent. This will be the last week they are in Veg and switching to flower cycle next week with a 12/12 photoperiod. I was going to try a 13/11 but I wanted to test out the automatic light functions on the Medic Grows Minisun-2, So this will be relieved next week. Been having issues with PH in the medium again and some nutrient uptake. I am thinking I will switch to another brand I have to use up, trip tonic from my last grow on the balcony. Its a bit more complex and not as easy as mix into water and feed but I think its going to help me solve a lot of the issues I am getting. Given this update is a few days late some of these pics are not from today. the clones in the photos above are from the beginning of the week when I potted them up. They have not done well at all and may not make it. can only hope for the next few weeks they pull through.
