Watching trichomes closely and using plain water over the past week. The largest of the two plants stopped responding much to watering and became resplendent with milky plus amber trichomes as the leaves faded and purpled up. On 2-15 I chose to harvest her. I weighed out 3.4 oz of untrimmed wet bud on 2-16, as I plan to dry trim. Second plant harvested 2-18. I will put up a harvest report when both plants are harvested. The smaller plant is approximately a week behind. I’m pleased with the yield but I really have no experience to know how these dense meaty buds will weigh out when dried. I have only removed the most easily plucked sugar leaves to facilitate drying and later trim. I have taken two medium sized riper buds from this plant over the past two weeks to dry and sample. I have only tried the first one and will say that the buzz was potent, delightful with a very sweet delicious flavor despite being uncured and grassy. ***** Currently the scent is an almost artificial vanilla, sugar and chocolate. ****** Compared to my bagseed and my one previous grow, these plants have been resilient against transplant stress, heat, pests, and pmd. My only concern was the appearance of a ball, which I plucked off and had not since observed more of them. Unlike the smaller plant that has one large cola with many heavy but smaller ones, the larger one sported many larger colas. ****** For my next grow I would like to add more light or switch up to COBs move into a larger space, be it a tent or a diy grow room, augment my soil with coco as well as perlite, if not switch mediums entirely, be more gentle with transplant and add enzymes and bloom boosters to my supplements. ****** I know this was a long grow. Thank you for hanging with me throughout. Special thanks to my friends in the now crabfree Wolfpack on kik for your help and encouragement. ******* Thank you Bombseeds for sending me these fantastic beans and for your help and support. Thank you to WhiteWidow for hooking me up with Terpinator, and special thanks to Terpinator for sending me your very easy to use and effective product. ******** —Fairy __about me: I am a 54 year old woman with a California Prop 215 compliant medical grow. I am currently off all prescription medications and continue to use cannabis for pain and stress reduction, primarily in the evenings. Being able to grow my own has offered me more control over quality and trichome ripeness, both of which are crucial to effectiveness for me. ____ Follow me on Instagram @thefairybudmother if you would like to know more about me and share in my advocacy of cannabis as medicine. We’ve hit week five of flowering, and things are getting really exciting! 🌸 The plant is now covered in trichomes, and many of them are already turning a milky color—such a great sign that things are progressing perfectly. The buds are starting to look really frosty. ❄️✨ I’ve been following the BioBizz week 6 feeding schedule, as it’s almost time to flush the plant—just 2-3 more weeks to go! 💧 I’m getting more excited each day as we move closer to harvest. Can’t wait to see how everything finishes up! 😁🌱

Week 4 update - through the first week of the stretch and all is developing well. It’s really only the one strong male that’s started showing significantly. Most of the females have trace pistils and are still rapid vegging as expected. Every plant continues showing excellent hybrid vigour and there are literally zero noticeable deficiencies. Currently, the count is at about 2/3 males + about 2/3 indica dominant fem phenos. We took clones of everything female this week so that we can bud em out proper in the dutchy cabinet once the pollen subsides. That’s where we’ll get a real look at the bid quality👌. They’re all quite young at only 3/4 weeks from seed but still look hardy and strong. Rigged up a new drip ring delivery system so that we could take off for a couple days and make watering easier for my mother in-law. Anyone wants the skinny on those, just throw me a dm - super easy design and save a ton of cash and time. All told - were well on our way to the final finish of this generation and the punnet squaring should be interesting once we’re done. End of the day, the grower in me is just giddy for the next cycle. Finally gonna have the option to grow a bunch of different fems for a shit ton o bud👍👌💪. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Stay tuned - with a little luck, this cross is gonna be straight 🔥😎👌.

26APR - They grew a little bit this past week. Thinking of topping by the end of this week. Still unsure being my first grow and all. Anyone have suggestions I am open to them. 29APR - all 4 widows were slightly dehydrated and im guessing ots due to being switched from led to a 1000watt MH bulb. Going to keep an eye on them n possibly trim their roots tomorrow. 01MAY - ended up not doing anything to them other than move them around a bit.

So the end of 3 and entering week 4 these girls are a little sad today as been working on finishing their little grow space which hopefully they'll settle into over the next few days. I have tried too upload images but no luck keeps saying resizing no matter where I upload from 🙄 The girls are taking off and I can see the difference in growth allthough they've been unsettled past few days 🌱 Still loving the aptus range and so am I its keeping these girls healthy even the topped girl hasnt really reacted too being topped 🌱👌 I will be doing some hst/lst with the other 2 this week as neglected them slightly as having the fastbuds testers all potted up into new shoes. I will try update more images tomorow... Stay blessed 💚

Notes for flower week 11 (12/29-1/4, days 70 to 76) Can't place side-by-side progressives since website update.... disappointed 😔 Lots of yellow and purple leaves now - SKOL Vikings! Watching the Terps every other day now and feeding reduced nute flush water until harvest. I dont plan to 'fully' remove the nutes, but drastically reduce. Watering Days. Day 142/72 (last feed was day 137/67) Tested and Calibrated my ph pens. Fed 3 gallons of de-chlorinated tap (starting with 223ppm) mixed with 428ppm of 100% Bloom Mix Concentrate. Due to this soil showing a possible calcium deficit, I am still using 1ml per gallon add-in to test on all plants using this soil, so I added 3.0ml of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) and then I ph balanced before feeding. The ph on this feed was balanced to 7.05 (7.0 last feed). I used knitting needles to help both aerate the soil and create new water pathways for the roots. I got ~17 cups of runoff (~19 cups last feed). Runoff was tested at 6.08ph and 1700ppm (5.96ph and 1640ppm last feed). Top soil tested at 6.26,6.23,6.55,6.50 for an avg of 6.385 (6.545 avg after last feed)

Day 29 29/07/24 Monday Nice feeding today with De-chlorinated tap water pH 6. Gave her 300 ml and she had a small run off. Getting chunky in the stem now 💪💚 Day 31 31/07/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated water pH 6 today with Plagron pk13-14 5ml to 5L Plagron power buds 5ml to 5L Used 300ml of the 5L solution. I will be using these on water days from now on as they are advised to be used every irrigation. We'll see how they perform 💪💚 Day 32 01/08/24 Thursday Another feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6, there now taking 300ml every evening. Day 35 04/08/24 Sunday END OF WEEK 😁 De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 today with Plagron products. 300ml each. Had a issue with leaf invaders this week, I have treated and am checking every 48 hrs so far seems ok and not progressive. All plants look great, very healthy, one of the Overdose is way behind and due to space maybe culled at flower I'll see how she gets on.

Our #11 or rather this new Seeds Mafia creation that we are growing with love is starting to get serious. It grows well and very regularly, the leaves are clean and it is well proportioned, really beautiful and fast. We have started with fertilizers for growth which we give in reduced doses together with the rooting agent for the entire vegetative phase. Music of the week provided by Radio Nula from Slovenia. https://radionula.com/ Thanks to friends of Seeds Mafia try this and their other creations seeds > https://seedsmafia.com/en/ Light and tent > https://marshydro.eu/products/marshydro-sp3000-led/?lang=it
