6/29 - 4 days after I gave everyone the compost tea, the Jack Herers have sprung back to life! The compost tea was a literal life saver. Just a few days later and her leaves have smoothed out, there's virtually none of that glossy, dark green, twisted and gnarled growth. They are looking great! 6/30 - Top dressed all with Uprising Grow and Uprising Foundation 7/1 - Today I did a little selective defoliation on the Jacks. They are looking stronger and stronger each day. 7/2 - Today was feeding day. Gave them a dose of their regular nutrients. They are very happy! 7/3 - Added some red wigglers today! I ordered some Red Wigglers from Uncle Jim's Worm Farm and they arrived today. I added about 10 to each pot then moistened the soil a bit with just RO water pH to 6.6. I can't wait to watch them do their thing!

Divine Seeds Website says this Auto Candy could be as tall as 100-120 cm. My Auto Candy is 41 inches which translates to 104cm. On POINT. What started out to be a little on the bushy side ended up sprouting up like a teenager. Divine Seeds Website says this Auto Candy should be flowering in 60 days. My Auto Candy is flowering in 42 days--WHY??--Why is it flowering 18 days sooner?? Please advise. Maybe it is this wonderful @advancenutrient jungle juice that I am using:) I do know that the past couple of weeks have been excruciatingly HOT. This week is incredible cool--Thank you Jesus for the break in weather. It will be very interesting to see what this cooler weather does during this flowering season. Keep the comments and conversations coming this way. Be Happy!!

📆 Week 18, 21-27 May 2024 21-27 May - Observed and let the plant mature. 📑 At this point in the grow there is nothing much left to do except observe the plant and let it finish maturing. Although the bud size is somewhat smaller than anticipated, they appear tight and very uniform. The trichomes overall are 80% milky/10% amber/10% clear. Almost all pistil hairs are dark, and her smell has peaked with a sweet pine, gas, fruity scent. This was the last week of flower and she’s ready for the final week of flush and harvest. 🍶 21 May changed nutrient solution 🍽️ 21 May updated feeding schedule 💧 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 🐉 Nutrient Solution EC .9 at 70 degree F 🔆 Light power: one at 75%, and one at 50%, DLI 35-40 canopy coverage at 12hrs 😤 Using General Hydroponics, HGC728040, Dual Diaphragm Air Pump, 320 GPH That is it for this week. Thanks for the look, read and stopping by.

This week has been such a gift! I have learned so much about proper care for a plant I had no idea how little I knew sitting down and observing these majestic trees produce such a potent flower has really humbled me. Premium cultivars strain has shown resilient and self sustaining easy to grow traits that it is hard to mess up. (Which I’ve done a few times lol) Notice the trichomes (I put the zoom lens on and got up in there so they could be better seen the bud itself is slathered in them ! This is going to be an amazing smoke! Also looking at the structure of the bud it’s self it has volume very full bodied bracts with pistils throughout It’s just an all-around beautiful thing to observe

So this is the Tear Down week. The timing of it makes it so i will need to the harvest flag in a few days when I can weight and test the plants. I have included the Cleaning, and Cutting and some Root Porn. I will make the harvest post in about 4-5 days, when I can trim these plants. There is a lot of Plant here. I got way more than I was expecting. I don't have a scale that measure this amount of plant, without taking like 10 measurements and then adding them together. So I will just be posting the dry weight. I will post the wet weight as dry weight * 1.65. Autopots: Wow, what a great product. I have been blown away by how well and how easy it was to work with them. They really did solve the watering issues. Excellent product. If you are a beginner, start with Autopots. -= Lessons Learnt =- - Overdrive the air to your Autopots. In my control plant, I used a small rectangle air stone (instead of a standard air dome). This lead to root rot and some other issues, it also put significantly less air into the water. The root rot, give the material for the Brown Algae to grow. Using a huge Air-disc-Air-Stone would be an excellent combo to mix in with the air dome itself. Something like this: https://www.amazon.ca/Pawfly-Diffuser-Suction-Hydroponics-Aquarium/dp/B01MY3AQ33 at the bottom and the air-dome on top of it, will be what I do with my next experiment. - Air stone in the reservoir. I had two instances where algae grew into the res. An air stone would have helped. It would have also helped my control plant get less root rot. Given the amount that the air-domes and air sources got engulfed, having the water have more o2 in it would have only been beneficial. - Don't grow 6 plants in a 4x4. Since my control plant was about 1/8th the size of the others, I think I could have grown 5 in the shape of a 5 (on a 6 sided dice)⚄ This placement would give a much more spaced canopy for airflow and more importantly light. The sides of some of the plants were lighter green and produced larf due to lack of light penetration. - This tent was on 19-5 schedule. This worked out very well for this strain. After every lights on, they were in the praying position, so this strain was able to recover in that 5hrs off. If I had more seeds, I would run these again, and try 20-4. I think this strain could handle it. All for all, I think I'm going to 19-5 as my default timing. This kept up a solid DLI. - Staring at .9EC (really .7 EC cause my water here is .2 EC) Then bumping up at .1 a week, until 1.6EC worked out VERY well. I experimented on this crop all the way up to 1.9EC, which burnt the tips of this plant. I think if I did this strain again, I would do 1.6EC until 3-4 weeks left then crank it to 1.9. It did plump them up when I went to 1.9, however it left them looking rough. Bulk was added though. - Sticking to 6.0PH for all of veg, and 2 weeks into flower worked great. The plant had solid and consistent color and leaf shape . The plant's did get hurt, due to some issues (as noted on the weeks). I switched to 6.5 PH in the last 3-4 weeks and it helped them recover, and plump up noticeably. -VPD. The #1 thing I focused on was VPD. I keep it .9kpa range, as best as humanly possible. It was honestly, HUGELY noticeable compared to my other grows. I know truly understand the value of properly dialed in VPD. This is the one lesson that will stick with me forever. - Super-cropping: On the plants I give the chiropractic treatment too, had much thicker stems as much larger channel internally. I did this treatment to 4 of the 6, and the 4 that had it done has larger buds and recovered from defoliation faster. TLDR; VPD is king. Super-cropping is worth the time. Keeping PH and EC dialed in were all wins. Autopots kick ass.

📅 Week 13 | Days 92–98 📅 🌼🌸🌺 Flowering Phase 🌼🌸🌺 Day 98 🌞 🔸 Poison Envy continues to develop beautifully. The buds have become noticeably denser compared to last week, with an impressive amount of resin forming. Trichomes are mostly milky now, with a few still clear - no amber ones yet. 🔸 The smell is evolving too: still that strong musty "forgotten laundry" funk, but now with a distinct sweet-spicy berry twist, almost like overripe blackberries. Very pungent! 🔸 Unfortunately, the humidity is still too high, but better than last week (currently 63%), which could become a problem. Today I finally turned on the dehumidifier and increased airflow using all clip fans at max setting. The dehumidifier now maintains a constant relative humidity of 50-60%, which I am very satisfied with. It does make it 2-3 degrees warmer in the tent, but I can live with that. 🔸Now give them 1-2 weeks of overdrive from AN and then only water. She drinks significantly less. 📈 Current Conditions 🌡️🔆 = 27°C 🌡️🌜 = 20°C 💨 VPD Target = 1.4 - 1.6 💨 Humidity = 63% → Target: below 60% 🔦 PPFD = 900 µmol (12/12) 🔦⌚ DLI = ~38 🛠️ Setup (unchanged) 💡 Lights: 2 x Sanlight Evo 4-120 @ 90% ⛺ Tent: 120 x 120 x 180 🍯 Pot Size: 18 liters 🌱 Medium: Bio-Bizz Light Mix 💊 Nutrients: Advanced Nutrients 💧 Water: Tap water (EC 0.5)

10/13/21 - Fed with Week 1 on our feeding schedule. 30ml Big Bloom to 1 gallon of water. 10/14/21 - Looking great today. That Big Bloom is ready making the plants more perky and happy. 10/15/21 - They all look really good. Next week we start 3 additional nutrients and they should really start popping. We’ll be topping and super cropping. (Didn’t mean to rhyme lol) 10/16/21 - They all look amazing today. I posted a video. Just super cropping and topping. The Sour OG is actually looking better. 10/17/21 - Wow they all look so good! Just kinda letting the plants go wild a little bit. Some still have plenty of growing to do. 10/18/21 - Wow! Sour OG in the middle has taken off. It was struggling and it’s sister clone died. Looks like it’s turning over and growing properly! They all look great. 10/19/21 - The ladies are looking very good today. Tomorrow we start week 2 of nutrients. They should go pretty crazy in a week or two with Grow Big and Kangaroots in the mix.

I switched the light timer to 12/12 and turned the carbon filter on. I wish I had more space to grow vertically, but the height of my box and grow light distance limits me from vegging too long. I hope to have a larger set up in the future 😀. At the start of week 7 The girls are chugging along (Cal/Mag really seemed to help) and I'm looking forward to seeing the bud structure and that Blueberry smell! I will be going on vacation in a little over a week for 8 days 😅. This is also why I started flowering now..so that I can be home during the majority of the stretch period(12 days from flip). The day I leave I will apply nutrients and thoroughly saturate the coco and then the girls will be watered with the blumats from my 5 gal reservoir (hopefully that is enough and there isn't too much PH drift). On day 5 of week 7 I applied 1 gal of nutrients until runoff. Week 7 went well.
