Branch Topping: Building a Strong Framework After recovering beautifully from her initial topping at node 7, it was time to refine her structure further by topping a few branches. For each branch, I left two nodes to ensure strong, healthy growth while encouraging a bushier canopy. Why Top Branches? Topping isn’t just for the main stem—it’s an essential technique for creating an even canopy and increasing yield potential: 1. Encourages Lateral Growth: By removing the top of a branch, the plant redirects its energy into the remaining nodes, encouraging side shoots to grow and fill out. 2. Maximizes Light Penetration: A bushier plant with more branches ensures that all parts of the plant get access to light, reducing shading and improving photosynthesis. 3. Improves Structure: A strong, evenly distributed framework sets the stage for a healthier plant that can support larger buds during flowering. The decision to leave two nodes per topped branch ensures a balance between promoting growth and avoiding unnecessary stress. The amount of trichomes on this plant is bit, not so fat buds but they look great and not as purple as in pictures. The smell seems a layered mixture of tropical fruits with classical gelato funk! Last week now before harvest with trichomes a bit less than 10% orange.

look a little weak and i find some fruit flies in the soil and i guess one of reason of they grow stop for couple days. 😘

Okay so I’ve been slacking a bit on the grow-diaries, only because I’ve had a lot going on and also because I don’t feel obligated to do so because this isn’t a sponsored grow. It’s been nice to have a little break but I think I’m ready to come back at it full force again. These girls are living their best lives, they are all the same age and they are all thriving. Almost killed one of the candy candy plants today by watering too fast ended up LST-ing all of the plants with the exception of the other candy candy which I am letting grow natural.

Hello Diary, The third week of vegetation has ended and the plants are entering the flowering phase. The flowers have started to form, which is nice to see in the photos, all in all I am satisfied with how they are developing. They grew a little more than 10 cm and got a lot of new leaves, so now they are really bushy. I'm thinking of doing a little defoliation next week, I'll see how it goes. The humidifier is still on to keep the humidity around 60% while the temperature is around 22 degrees. They still don't ask for much water so I only had one watering this week when I gave them about 2 liters of water each. This time I added Bigger Flowers and Thicker Flowers at the recommended dosage for the third week of vegetation. Here's what it looked like last week. 12/02/2023. - Day 19. Watering. I prepared 4 liters of water, lowered the pH. to 6.0 with Plagron's Lemon Kick and added Bigger Flowers 0.5/1 lit and Thicker Flowers 0.1/1 lit and with that amount I watered both plants evenly. 14/02/2023. - Day 21. 3/27 Been fighting the warmth of the lights and the rising temps lately. Amnesia is still sacrificing leaves, but much more slowly now, letting me pick out about 5-10 per day. I really don't know what caused it all, but at least this could make trimming easier. I'm trying to make sure I pull off all the browning and crispy leaves so that they don't get absorbed by growing bud. Trainwreck is getting much more purple, but is also browning in some spots. Trainwreck doesn't let go of any leaves, as the base of them is still green, which makes it more difficult to sift through the brown leaves and pull them out. Fed at the end of last week, may have been Friday. 3/29 Feeding 3/4 nutrients today! 3/31 Fed 1/2 strength nutrients and lowering lights to 50% before going away for the weekend. 4/1 They survived my time away. 4/2 Some crispy leaves needed to be plucked from Trainwreck to open up other budsites. Trichomes are still not amber.

Today is day 111 since the plants sprouted, and day 55 of flower (week 8). This will probably be the last update before taking the plants down for trimming. The buds on the Papaya Sherbert are starting to get some fox tails, and I don't want those to get too long when I take them down for trimming. The trichomes on the buds are looking fine, even though I'd prefer to see more amber. The Orange Sherbert is looking very leafy, and I'm not looking forward to trimming it. Overall, I think I'm expecting 7-8 ounces in total, and most of that will come from the Orange Sherbert. I've stopped giving them nutrients, and they're getting FloraKleen to remove the salts from the nutrients I've been using. They'll probably get plain water for another few days before coming down.

09.11.2025 – BT8 Die Pflanzen wurden erneut bewässert. Das Düngerschema in Blütewoche 2 bleibt unverändert und entspricht weiterhin dem der ersten Woche. Mittlerweile konnten bereits einige Triebe der Clementine Slush in das SCROG-Netz eingefädelt werden. 11.11.2025 – BT10 Da mir das Bewässern mit meiner Akkulanze aufgrund des starken Wachstums in der Blütephase zunehmend auf die Nerven ging – und ich die Pflanzen derzeit nicht entlauben kann – habe ich mir eine kleine Bewässerungshilfe gebaut. An jedem Topf wurden vier Bewässerungsdüsen angebracht. So muss ich nun nur noch den Knopf der Akkulanze betätigen, und das Wasser verteilt sich gleichmäßig im gesamten Topf. Die Akkulanze konnte ich mit dem Bewässerungssystem koppeln – mehr dazu demnächst!

Aquí seguimos una semana más con la pequeña banana!! ,Selección de nuestro compañero kanijo. Todo avanza en un buen equilibrio. Anda rodeada de sativas pero no es ningún problema para ella ya que no puede competir en altura pero si en espacio. Le guiaré las ramas laterales entre los bambús de amnesia haze y bajaré un poco más la lámpara que está ubicada en su posición para que la altura de las amnesia no le resten mucha iluminación . Deciros que todo marcha según lo planeado y puedo decir que mejor de lo que esperaba. 26/3/26 Seguimos con la pequeña de la habitación,lucha por mantener su espacio entre las demás. Tiene un color verde oscuro muy bonito. Y va cojiendo su forma poco a poco aún le queda esta semana y parte de la otra estirando hasta que llegue a su punto de trabajar las flores.

Another week for this SOG of Auto's from our friends fastbuds, at the moment they are doing great, i do notice that some genetics required less food than others (they all got the same amount but some showed signs of N toxicity last weeks) At the moment we noticed the stretch and we needed to put the lamp higher, we are growing with a TS1000 at the moment and things are looking good 😊

I low stress trained her to promote air flow…I hope she makes it pass the fungal plague which I already cut her top branches…luckily I got some clones if she dies.
