Sticky Rice is looking good so far. The leaves are a nice dark green and it's growing at a steady pace. I'm excited to see it get a little bigger so I can start training the branches. This strain's supposed to stretch a lot, so I want to make sure it has plenty of room to grow.

🌱 Day 57 - Start of the Second-to-Last Flowering Week 🌱 Hello, Grow Friends! Today marks the start of the second-to-last flowering week—Week 9 overall, and Week 5 of flowering. 🌿 I’m getting more and more excited as my first grow nears its end. As I approach harvest, I’ve decided, based on my research, to stop feeding nutrients and stick to just pH-adjusted water for the final two weeks. 💧⚖️ Watering Routine: I’ll keep the same watering schedule—1 liter every two days, which is about 10% of the pot volume. 🌱💧 This should be enough to flush out the remaining nutrients, ensuring a clean finish for the plant. Temperature & Humidity: The temperature remains stable between 19-23°C, which I believe is ideal for this stage of the grow. 🌡️🍂 No more high temperatures to worry about! The humidity is fluctuating between 45-58%, and I’m keeping a close eye on it to stay below 60%. 💧🔍 Everything seems on track for now. 🌿 Plant Health & Growth: The plant still looks very healthy overall. 🌱💪 However, I’ve noticed that in the past three days, there haven’t been any visible changes in the size of the buds. 🤔 It could just be that I’m not seeing the growth clearly, but the only noticeable change is the daily opening of new flower calyxes. 🌸 Harvest Preparation: I’m already getting my equipment ready for drying after harvest. 🛠️ Once it’s time to cut, I’ll be hanging the plant to dry for the first 10 days. 🌿✂️ I want to make sure everything is set for a smooth drying process. Due to the trichome pictures I took on Day 61—which you can check out too—I’ve made an unexpected decision to harvest my plant a bit earlier than planned and make some changes. 🌿 Watering and Flushing: The last time I watered was on Day 61, using all the usual nutrients at the doses I mentioned before. But after seeing the trichome pictures, I decided to start a light flush today. I gave the plant 4 liters of plain water to begin flushing and will now only water lightly on Day 64. After that, no more water until harvest on Day 67. 🌑 Dark Period: From Day 66 to Day 67, I plan to keep the plant in darkness. I’m not entirely sure if this will make a difference, but I’m curious to try it out. ✂️ Defoliation: The plant is doing well, and I’ve done a thorough defoliation. I removed all leaves that aren’t sugar leaves or directly attached to the buds to improve air circulation and reduce the risk of mold as I approach the end of the grow. 💭 Trimming Decisions: I’m still undecided about whether to do a wet trim or a dry trim. Based on what I’ve read, especially regarding the yield from trim, I’m leaning towards dry trimming, as it might give me more usable trim material. I can feel the plant entering its final phase, and I’m getting really excited about the results and what the next few days will bring. Remember, I post a video update every day. It was a interesting grow I had Spider mites in flowering. I treated with lady bugs. Seemed to do the trick. All my other autos got hplvd. This likely had it too at end with close proximity to them. She made it. Great looking plant, and smell. Thank you Mars Hydro. DO NOT BUY AMS. The owner is a convicted criminal, and he stole 550 dollars from me. It's not worth it. Are they going into flower? There is not many signs of that because i have a small leak of light between them but will see 🤞

Had a malfunction with the PPM meter last week and ended up burning some of them but not real bad. Backing off the nutrients this week and only adding Cal mag. Two of them are filling out very nicely the other ones seem a little airy. Hopefully that will start to change this week. Still don't know what I'm going to do with a little midget she has hairs but really is not forming buds?

This strain was an easy girl to grow. Very vigorous and towered over her double grape sister. She didn't develop the most dense nugs but I will attribute that to my lame light setup during this grow. She grew under 2 mars 300s and 1 hlg65 4000k in between. I've rolled 1 joint that got me pretty baked. I would judge this particular pheno as sativa leaning. I also vaped a bowl through the mighty and she still has a very green taste because She hasn't been curing very long. She developed a beautiful color when she ripened at the end of flower and yielded 54.8 dry grams of beautiful buds. I had probably another 40 or 50 grams of trim from this lady also. Next time I grow this strain, I will be dropping her in a much bigger pot. Harvested when trichomes were mostly foggy with maybe 5% amber. The biggest auto I have grown yet.

The atmospheric action has been classic Colorado—watching some spectacular afternoon storm build-ups, localized rain shafts, and distant lightning patterns out across the plains while the garden stays secure. Plant Metrics & Development: The Durban Poison Quartet is absolutely thriving in their massive 25-gallon homes after their Mother's Day transplant. They are focusing heavily on structural branching and filling out their footprints. Low Stress Training (LST) and SCROG preparation are underway to keep the canopy flat, wide, and optimized for maximum light penetration. For a quick snapshot on DP 5, she is displaying strong, tight internodal spacing. The main canopy top is steadily established right at 17 inches, with the outermost fan leaves reaching eagerly up toward the 18-inch mark. Feeding & Maintenance: We are remaining strictly organic, running the FOOP nutrient line—including the Veg, Bloom, and Sweetener components—to feed the active microbes and keep the root zones robust. For training, we are continuing to adjust the bamboo stakes and tie-downs to spread the canopy. The goal is to maximize the horizontal surface area before they really explode later this summer. A good week this week. No issues to report and with the cooler temps outside the RH has been easy to control. All 4 plants are now budding and the white rino is looking well on its way. The sour jack is producing a lot of pistils and starting to plump out. As for the 2 autos the lemon skunk is producing small but tight buds with a strong lemon smell. The quarter pound is now starting to bulk up as the bud were big but airy. Id say about half way maybe more for the autos and another 6-8 for the 2 photos until harvest time.
