11. Woche Hallo ihr lieben, Sticky Broccoli Auto von Zamnesia hat immer noch Randerscheinungen von Mg Mangel, die ich auch nicht mehr wegbekomme irgendwie. Es wird zum Glück nicht mehr noch mehr Blattmasse, also ich würde sagen das Schadbild sind 20-30% der Blätter. Sie ist auch etwas Over fertilisiert was aber gar nicht schlimm ist für die letzten Wochen. Sie bekommt jetzt weniger Stickstoff und dafür mehr Zusätze für die Bloom. Mittlerweile kommt auch wieder der Green Sensation von Plagron mit auf den Speiseplan. Sonst geht es ihr denke ganz gut mit dem LST, ich übe mich an der Pflanze noch in verschiedenen Techniken fürs Mainlining, um dass dann bei anderen Pflanzen später besser zu machen. Ich freue mich schon voll auf das kleine Indicapaket und hoffe auf eine schön schwere Couch-Lock Wirkung 🤤🤯 Die Greenception GCX4 PWR läuft aktuell 24/0 auf 80 Watt (40 Watt Veg Cluster/40 Watt Bloom Cluster), 2 Aerowave Mini-Ventilator von Vivosun geben bisschen Bewegung. VPD kann ich mir sparen, da ich eh nie die Werte erreiche, die ich brauche habe ich das Gefühl. Hab ja nen VPD Sensor für die Raumluft aber wat soll ich sagen, ich weiß die Werte aber die werden euch nix bringen, um optimale Ergebnisse zu fahren mit eurem Setup. Ich habe sie aus Platzgründen für ihre letzten Wochen in das Spider Farmer 60x60x180 gestellt, die Tür vom Zelt ist btw 24/7 auf, habe minininimal Probleme mit Trauermücken, aber kaum der Rede Wert. Ich habe immer noch diese Nützlinge auf der Pflanze, bei den ich mir irgendwie nicht ganz sicher bin, ob die mir helfen oder doch eher Schaden. Die untersten Blätter sehen so typisch Thripse aus vom Schaden aber ich habe keine. Es wäre mir aufgefallen Thripse Fliegen zu sehen, da ich viel Zeit bei den Ladys verbringe und die mit meiner Musik zu lalle... Frag mich bitte nicht, aktuell läuft "Elektrisk" von Marcus und Martinus in Dauerschleife schon seit paar Stunden. Entweder ist es die Musik oder vllt doch das Kraut, was ich konsumiere, wenn ich bei den Ladys bin und den beim Wachsen zu sehe 🤤😍😅 Ich quatsch schon wieder so viel 🤭🤭😂👋🏻 Guten Start in den Donnerstag 😌 PS: 🐰🍽️😄

Week 5 of flower and stretch has been excessive in these F1 testers. Buds have been slow to develop and supercroppibg of 3 tops was necessary to maintain canopy consistency. The hollow stems are a good sign of things to come but I will say I was hoping for much better bud development. Perhaps unrealistic with this sativa dominant cross but still. I guess as long as the buds are fire, we’re prepared to deal with less overall yield. The system continues to perform admirably. It’s one major drawback is having to recirculate through an additional drainage pump. The cheap bilge pump we wired into the tray failed and flooded out a portion of the basement - my fault really as I knew the pump was crap and should’ve changed it earlier. Still can’t get past how much more simplistic a gravity dependent system is but despite that - I have no complaints about this equipment and it will get regular use regardless of any future set up changes. Alls good in da hood y’all👌🤟 Strain details She’s a mix of a particularly strong Northern Lights, crossed with a Spicy Bitch sativa hybrid. The hope is that we’ll be able to combine the overtly narcotic effects in the NL and mellow it out somewhat with the quality daytime sativa effects found in the SB. Both strains feature numerous grower qualities. Both parents possessed vigour and resiliency, the SB particularly colourful in late flower. These beans were the product of a shotgun breeding run that presented an unexpected opportunity so there’s quite a bit of testing that should flow from the various F1’s we’ve produced.

As the plants are ripening and getting closer to harvest, I'm continuing to lower ppm levels while managing bucket water levels and ph. We're exactly at day 56 of flower (5/5/23) on Cinco de Mayo. The PBCRbx reflects a flowering time of 60-63 days, so no more nutrients at this point. I'll continue to monitor Trichomes through next week (i.e., week 9 of flower). Once I see more amber (approximately 20-25%), I will begin a 2-3 day flush with straight RO water. At that point, she is ready to come down. The last bucket change between week 7 and week 8 strictly followed GH's recommended dosage. That bucket change out brought an end to the ph swings she was beginning to experience. After the change out, the balance between water consumption, nutrient uptake, and ph is spot on. Specifically, while plant is up taking water, ph and ppm have maintained stability. She's looking and smelling incredible. Man those ETHOS beans are the bomb. There is a learning curve with DWC - no lie - but I've enjoyed the experience. That said, and if I had dialed her in from the start, she would have produced even better. Gratitude and thanks to ETHOS!

Es wird ziemlich frisch und windig Die Pflanze, welche rechts steht, ist öfter Mal umgeknickt und hat den Autopot mitgerissen. Dafür steht sie noch ziemlich gut dar. Umso mehr freue ich mich, dass man nun endlich die Blütenbildung eindeutig sehen kann. Aus Seiten der Nährstoffversorgung sieht soweit alles top aus, das System funktioniert sehr gut. Es haben sich ein paar Raupen unter die Blätter gesellt, was man Fraßspuren erkennen kann. Dennoch werde ich nichts spritzen, ein wenig weniger Ertrag werde ich in Kauf nehmen. Ich bin sehr gespannt, was der weitere Verlauf noch so hergeben wird.

106 °F today and still these girls thrive while I got very low blood pressure and remains to me only the strength to water them, peppers and tomatoes. Cookies Gelato is very happy and in a such way is adapting herself to extreme heat and still maintains a very short internode length with very thick branches. MALEB is a girl. Borned from regular seed is a cross between a male lebanese "Black Gold" landrace and a female morroccan landrace. Lebanese seeds came from Majdaloun where a great friend of mine has served in a peacekeeping mission. Morroccan's came from Issaguen in the Rif. Both landraces at that latitudes show semi-automatic behaviour where are planted in early april and finish their short cycles in mid-august. My latitude is higher and usually photodependants start to preflower at 14.30 hours of light on July 15. Maleb starts to preflower on June 27 at 15.05 hours of light. A great result more than any "fast version" around. Her savages genetics are very clear, simply she don't care a fuck about heat and critters avoid her. When temps will go down I'll take some cuttings trying to obtain some feminized seeds from them, under HPS Cheers Bros

Day 64: Second Grow We’re now in the fifth week of the flowering stage, and the buds are getting thicker by the day. We’ve decided to order a microscope to keep a closer eye on the trichome development. Additionally, we’re considering ordering CANNAZYM, a nutrient that could help our buds grow even bigger and healthier. Here’s to another week of growth and progress!!

🚂 Cash Express – Pheno A Week 8 | Small Plant, Serious Flower Power Welcome back to another week of the 8×8 Adventure! 💚🌱 If this is your first visit to the diary, welcome! This project brings twelve different cultivars together under the same environment, lighting, irrigation and nutrition. By keeping the growing conditions as consistent as possible, we give genetics the opportunity to become the real variable. And that's exactly what makes this adventure so fascinating. Even when plants share the same room, the same nutrients and the same schedule, they can tell completely different stories. Cash Express Pheno A has certainly chosen her own story. Growing under a strict 12/12 light schedule from seed, beneath the Future of Grow Black Series LED and with her roots connected to the AutoPot system, she has always been one of the smaller plants in the room. But as we've already learned... Small doesn't mean insignificant. In fact, this week she's looking more and more like a little powerhouse preparing to show us exactly what she can do. 🌱 A Quick Recap — How Did We Get Here? The 8×8 Adventure is based around a simple but fascinating concept: twelve different cultivars growing together, under essentially the same conditions, from seed. There are no separate environments designed to favour one particular genetic. They're all sharing the same room. The same light cycle. The same irrigation philosophy. The same nutrient programme. And that's where the fun begins. Cash Express Pheno A started her life under a 12/12-from-seed approach. For anyone new to the diary, this means she wasn't given a traditional vegetative period followed by a later switch to flowering. Instead, she has experienced a 12-hour light / 12-hour dark cycle from the beginning. This allows us to observe how different genetics naturally develop when they're given a limited photoperiod rather than an extended vegetative stage. And Cash Express has responded by becoming a compact, beautifully structured plant. She may not have the height of some of her sisters... …but she has developed plenty of character. 🌸 Week 8 — She's Ready to Perform This week, the biggest impression comes from one thing: She looks lush. The foliage is carrying a beautiful, rich green, and the overall plant looks incredibly alive. There are some differences visible in individual leaves, including some colour variation, but when I step back and look at the plant as a whole, I'm extremely happy with what I'm seeing. The flowers are developing. The leaves are supporting that development. The plant looks vigorous. And most importantly, she looks like a plant that is comfortable with where she is right now. The flowering sites are becoming increasingly defined, and those long white pistils are absolutely everywhere. They're reaching outward from the flowers like tiny fireworks. And behind them, we're beginning to see the real structure of the buds developing. This is the stage where looking at the plant every few days becomes incredibly rewarding. Because suddenly... what started as little white hairs is becoming a flower. ? The White Hairs Are Taking Over One of my favourite things about photographing Cash Express this week has been watching the pistils. There are so many of them. The flowers are throwing out fresh white hairs in every direction, and they're becoming increasingly prominent against the darker foliage. When you look closely, you can also see the beginning of resin development around the sugar leaves. It's still early enough that the flowers have plenty of work ahead of them, but we're definitely past the stage of wondering whether she's going to flower. She's flowering. And she's doing it with confidence. The coming weeks should be particularly interesting because the plant now has the basic flower structure established. From here, the question becomes: How much weight and density can this little lady put behind those flowers? That's what I'm watching. 💚 Small Plant… Lush Plant I know I've said it before, but this phenotype keeps proving the point. Height doesn't tell the whole story. At around 72 cm, Cash Express Pheno A remains one of the more compact plants in the 8×8 Adventure. But visually? She carries herself beautifully. Her branches have created a very manageable structure, and the flowering sites are distributed throughout the plant in a way that makes her extremely interesting to photograph. She's not trying to dominate the room. She's simply doing her thing. And right now, she's doing it very well. There's something particularly satisfying about seeing a smaller plant suddenly become so full of life. She's compact. She's green. She's flowering. And she's looking hungry enough to tell me: "Don't you dare slow me down now." 😂 ⚗️ Feeding — When the Plants Ask, We Listen This week we made another small increase to the nutrient programme. And yes... We're already above the manufacturer's chart in some aspects of the feeding schedule. Normally, charts are an excellent starting point. But plants don't read charts. Plants tell us what they need. And these girls have been asking for more. So we're responding. For Cash Express Pheno A, this week's feeding included: Plagron Terra Bloom – 2.2 ml/L Plagron Power Buds – 1 ml/L Plagron Green Sensation – 1 ml/L Plagron Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L pH adjustment products as required Compared with last week, Terra Bloom has been increased slightly, from 2 ml/L to 2.2 ml/L. It's not a dramatic jump. It's a controlled adjustment based on what we're seeing across the room. And Cash Express certainly doesn't look like she's complaining. Quite the opposite. She looks lush, healthy and ready to put that nutrition to work. The AutoPot system continues allowing the plants to take up solution according to their own demand, with approximately 1.2 litres per plant per 24 hours recorded this week. So, as always, we're watching the plants rather than blindly chasing numbers. If they ask... We listen. ? Those Purple Stems — Yes, They're There Now let's talk about something visible in the photographs. Some of the petioles and stems are showing a noticeable reddish/purple coloration. It's definitely there. And whenever I see something like this, I prefer to document it rather than simply ignore it. At the same time, I don't want to automatically label every purple stem as a deficiency or a problem. Genetics can influence pigmentation significantly, and environmental factors can contribute as well. What matters to me is the whole-plant picture. And that picture currently looks very positive. The foliage is lush. The flowers are developing strongly. The plant is producing plenty of fresh pistils. The flowers are showing resin development. There isn't a widespread pattern across the plant that makes me think she's struggling. So for now, I'm doing what I always prefer to do: Observe rather than panic. The purple coloration is part of the story, so we'll keep watching it. If the plant continues looking this happy, producing flowers and maintaining healthy new growth, I'm certainly not going to start changing things simply because one characteristic caught my eye. Sometimes the plant is simply showing us who she is. And Cash Express may just have a little purple personality hiding underneath all that green. 🌡️ Environment The room continues providing a stable environment for all twelve plants to develop together. This week's recorded conditions were: 🌡️ Day temperature: 29°C 🌙 Night temperature: 25°C 💧 Relative humidity: 60% 🥥 Root zone temperature: 21°C 💦 Nutrient solution temperature: 22°C ⚗️ pH: 5.8–6 range recorded ⚡ EC: approximately 2.0 mS/cm 💨 CO₂: 639 ppm 💡 Light schedule: 12/12 🌱 Plant height: 72 cm 💧 Water consumption: approximately 1.2 L/plant/24h Once again, consistency is allowing us to compare these plants in a very interesting way. They're living the same life... …but they're certainly not telling the same story. 🌿 No Rush — Just Reading the Room One thing I really enjoy about this project is that we're not forcing every plant into exactly the same schedule just because a calendar says it's time. Training, cleaning and defoliation are tools. They're not appointments. If a particular plant needs attention because its structure is becoming too dense, we respond. If another plant is perfectly balanced and doesn't need anything... we leave her alone. That's the philosophy I've been following throughout the 8×8 Adventure. The room itself tells us when intervention makes sense. And Cash Express Pheno A continues to show a structure that doesn't need us to overcomplicate things. She has already received her LST during the earlier stages of the grow, which helped create the framework we're now watching develop. At this stage, the priority is increasingly simple: let the flowers develop. 📸 Behind the Lens This week might be one of my favourite photographic updates for Cash Express so far. The macro photographs really show the contrast between her darker foliage and those bright, almost luminous pistils. The flowers are beginning to look increasingly complex. You can see the developing sugar leaves. You can see the resin beginning to build. You can see the individual flower structures becoming more defined. And then there are those beautiful reddish tones running through some of the stems and petioles. Photography has a funny way of making you notice things you might otherwise overlook. You can stand in front of the plant and simply think: "Wow, she's looking good." Then you put the macro lens on... …and suddenly you're discovering an entire little world. That's one of my favourite parts of this project. We're not just growing these plants. We're documenting them. 🔮 Looking Ahead — What I Expect… and What I Don't The next week should be particularly interesting. 🌸 What I expect: I expect the flowering sites to continue swelling and becoming more defined. I expect the white pistils to remain extremely prominent while the flowers continue building structure. I expect resin production to become increasingly visible. And I expect this compact little plant to continue proving that she doesn't need much height to make an impression. 🌱 What I don't expect: I don't expect her to suddenly become the tallest plant in the room. That's simply not her personality. I don't expect us to force her into a particular shape just because another phenotype behaves differently. And I don't expect us to make unnecessary changes while she's telling us that she's happy. For now, the plan is simple: keep watching, keep feeding according to her response, keep the environment stable, and let Cash Express do what Cash Express does. She's earned the opportunity to show us what she's capable of. And I'm very curious to find out. 🚂 Small Plant. Big Personality. Eight weeks from seed. Around 72 centimetres tall. Surrounded by plants that could easily make her look small. And yet, when I put the camera in front of her... she fills the frame. That's the beauty of genetics. One plant wants to grow tall. Another wants to grow wide. Another wants to stretch. Another wants to stay compact and quietly build flowers. Cash Express Pheno A? She's chosen the last option. And honestly... I wouldn't change a thing. She's lush. She's beautiful. She's producing flowers everywhere. And she's starting to look like she's getting ready to show us what that little frame can really produce. Bonjour à tous les padawans et les maîtres jedis Jour42 ma plante entre bien en floraison je pratique sur elle une defolliation pour permettre aux têtes de prendre la lumière La floraison des plantes de cannabis La plante de cannabis passe par différentes étapes de vie avant de parvenir à la récolte. Ces étapes sont : la germination, la pré-croissance, la croissance et la floraison. Pour les autofloraisons il n'est pas nécessaire d'avoir de changer le cycle de lumière elle entre en floraison automatiquement voilà d'où elle tient son nom "d'autofloraison" L'origine de l'auto-floraison vient de la sous-espèce "cannabis sativa ruderalis" , qui à l'origine produit de très faibles niveaux de THC. C'est en croisant cette variété de marijuana avec d'autres qui produisent des niveaux de THC plus élevés qu'à vu le jour ce magnifique compromis que sont les variétés auto-fleurissantes avec des taux de THC très satisfaisants. En parallèle, cela a permis d'améliorer la production de ces variétés, qui initialement étaient exceptionnellement basse. Pour des résultats optimaux, en culture Outdoor (extérieur), je recommande que la germination des graines de marijuanaAuto-flo se fasse entre avril et août. En culture Indoor(intérieur), la photopériode idéale que ce soit pour la croissance comme pour la floraison est de 20h de lumière. N'oubliez pas que ces graines ne sont pas tributaires de la photopériode pour passer en floraison. Il est préférable d'utiliser des pots d'une capacité de 10 à 20L dès le début, étant donné que leur cycle de vie est réduit, les auto-flo n'ent pas besoin de plus de volume pour se développer. Vu sa petite taille (et la discrétion) elle fait l'objet d'un bon choix pour la culture de cannabis sur balcons. La première variété de Lowryder auto-floraison a été créé à partir de cannabis indica sativa croisé avec des génétiques de cannabis sativa rudelaris par la banque de graines de marijuana "The Joint Doctor". Puis vinrent la White Dwarf de "Buddha Seeds", la Roadrunnerde "Dinafem", l' Auto Stoned d' "Autofem", la Speed Devil de "Sweet Seeds" , la Maxi Gom de "Grassomatic", la Flash, la Gnomo de Kannabiaet bien d'autres. Jour42 defolliation (video) Avant toute chose n'oublions pas de bien désinfecter ses outils et bien ce laver les mains. Quesque la defolliation ? LES CULTIVATEURS AMATEURS, PRENEZ GARDE, MAIS NE PRENEZ PAS PEUR La défoliation consiste à retirer les feuilles des plants de cannabis en intérieur afin d'accroître le rendementfinal. Le cultivateur amateur doit faire preuve de vigilance lorsqu'il commence à appliquer cette technique de taille. Malgré le débat sans fin entre ceux qui prônent cette technique et ceux qui la dénigre, il n'y aucune raison pour qu'un amateur ne s'y essaie pas afin de voir si ça lui convient ou non. COMMENT DÉFOLIER Que vous tailliez les feuilles ou les branches des plants de cannabis, il vaut mieux utiliser un sécateur stérile qui est confortable en main. Arracher des feuilles à la main manque de finesse et engendre souvent par accident, l'arrachement des couches d'une tige en plus de la feuille. L'objectif principal de la défoliation est de permettre une meilleure pénétration de la lumière et de promouvoir la production de plus grosses têtes. Les feuilles éventails qui font de l'ombre doivent être retirées. Tailler la tige principale et/ou les pousses secondaires n'est pas de la défoliation. La règle d'or lorsque vous donnez à vos plantes un rafraîchissement est de commencer avec les feuilles nourricières les plus grandes et les plus larges, en taillant du bas vers le haut. Il est important de retirer les feuilles stratégiquement et non pas au hasard. Pensez également qu'il vous faut limiter votre rafraîchissement à approximativement 10 à 20 % des feuilles totales de votre pied. Il est très facile de s'emporter durant la taille et de se retrouver avec des plantes chauves. Un excès de taille de feuilles empêchera la photosynthèse et paralysera vos plants. QUAND FAUT-IL DÉFOLIER Il est assez rare d'appliquer la défoliation comme seule technique pour obtenir un fort rendement. Les cultivateurs utilisant la méthode ScrOG auront besoin de retirer toutes les croissances inférieures ainsi que les feuilles et les tiges se trouvant sous le filet. Les plants de cannabis peuvent être défoliés dès lors qu'ils sont passés de la phase de plantule vers la phase de croissance végétative. Cependant, il est recommandé aux cultivateurs amateurs de laisser aux plantes 1 à 2 semaines de croissance végétative avant de s'attaquer à la défoliation de celles-ci. De plus, certaines variétés sont plus sensibles à la taille que d'autres et de ce fait, seront plus stressées par la taille des feuilles. Surveillez minutieusement le comportement de vos plants après la taille. Une période de convalescence de minimum 3 à 7 jours avant de recommencer la défoliation est fortement recommandée pour éviter trop de stress aux plants. Les cultivateurs peuvent également défolier pendant la phase de floraison, ce qui permettra à l'énergie de la plante d'être concentrée vers la production de têtes tout en limitant l'ombre et l'excès d'humidité. Néanmoins, il est important de ne pas défolier trop tard sous peine de simplement blesser ses plants inutilement. LES AVANTAGES DE LA DÉFOLIATION Évidemment, l'avantage numéro un de la défoliation, c'est l'augmentation du potentiel de rendement de cette technique de taille pour tous types de cannabis allant de la photopériode aux variétés autofloraison. Ce n'est pas un secret que les fleurs qui reçoivent plus de lumières deviennent plus grandes et larges que celles dissimulées dans l'ombre des feuilles. De plus, retirer les feuilles intérieures des plants touffus aide à prévenir toutes menaces de moisissure. Les plants très feuillus avec un feuillage intérieur dense produiront une quantité importante de têtes pop-corn. Dans le pire des cas, les branches de têtes et les têtes qui sont denses succomberont au pourrissement. Si vous observez des gouttes d'eau se former sur la surface des feuilles, il est grand temps de penser à faire de la défoliation. Libérer la zone inférieure et médiane des feuilles est un excellent moyen d'améliorer la circulation de l'air. LES DÉSAVANTAGES DE LA DÉFOLIATION Les plants de cannabis en intérieur bénéficient de la défoliation pour deux raisons. Les plants d'extérieurs eux, n'y gagnent pas beaucoup, car les cas échéants se vérifient pour eux. Le soleil traverse le ciel, illuminant sur sa route, différentes portions de la plante de son lever à son coucher. Les cultivateurs en extérieur n'ont pas besoin de manipuler les plantes afin qu'elles se développent en adoptant une structure plate puisque le soleil est infiniment plus puissant que n'importe quelle lampe de culture et qui plus est, il est toujours en mouvement. Tailler les feuilles des plants extérieurs les rend également plus vulnérables aux conditions humides et brise leurs barrières naturelles contres les nuisibles. De nombreux cultivateurs d'intérieur peuvent, et malheureusement, c'est souvent le cas, réduire le rendement final à cause d'une défoliation faite au mauvais moment et/ou excessive. Tailler les plantules n'est pas conseillé et engendre souvent des plants nains. Scalper les plants matures est encore pire, et au lieu d'obtenir de longues branches de têtes, vous obtiendrez probablement encore moins de fleurs. De même, tailler des plants malades ou en mauvaise santé à n'importe quelle période de la croissance risque de paralyser la croissance plutôt que d'encourager la formation de fleurs denses.
