showing great colors during the last 3 weeks of flowering, great strain. i absolutelly recommend it!

Am Wochenende haben wir das Netz gespannt. 2/3 der Blütezeit hat sie jetzt ca. hinter sich gebracht. Nach dem ausharren und dem neutralisieren des gekippten Wassers, trat sehr schnell auch ein Mangel sehr vermutlich ,,Schwefel,, am Haupttrieb im obigen Bereich auf. Da wir aber so oder so in der ersten Woche mit erhöhtem Mineralien bedarf (Top- Max) uns befinden, ist dieses nach dieser Situation ein absolut positives Anzeichen, da es bedeutet das sie die Nährstoffe benötigt und somit auch verarbeitet. Auffallend und auch nicht mehr zu ignorieren sind die Thripse. Um diese kümmern sich aber ab Paketeintreffen die neuen Florfliegenlarven. Ansonsten haben wir beim Netzt Spannen noch kleine nachwachsende Stins weggenommen um wirklich alle benötigte Kraft in die Cola´s zu bekommen. Wir Gießen im Moment ca. alle 24 Stunden 4 Liter Nährstofflösung inkl. 0,08 g Co2_ Tablette und 4 ml PK14/15 Wir wünschen allen Growmies viel Erfolg und eine angenehme Woche! Seit dem 16.10.24 wird Sie nur noch 11 Stunden beleuchtet und statt 4 Liter mag sie im moment eher wieder die 3 Liter pro Tag Nährstofflösung.

BAM she has definitely starting growing quite quickly, looking very healthy. Still the biggest of the 4 ladies in the tent. Have been folair feeding bout 45 min after the lights come on, dunno how much its helping but she looks great so its not doing anything bad lol Will be topping her in the next day or two and start setting up my scrog. This round is going to be similar to last. I will have four photo period ladies that I will scrog out a bit, there will also be 5 autos in the tent that will be topped and scrogged to have a nice even canopy in the tent. Havent made up my mind with topping autos yet but it seems to be about the same either way. so i figure with topping i can have more plants with an even canopy.

***UPDATE*** ITS CHOPPIN DAY!! Late in day 87 I was going for macros. Made the decision while seeing MANY yellow trichomes that Wedding Glue from FastBuds is DONE! Attaching pics to the beginning of the weeks uploads. She sure turned out pretty asf didn't she? Lights out occurs in like 30min, and I'm going to work through the dark period stripping the large fans off. Utilizing my green Christmas lights hung up above lol. May turn light on low for a quick pic before chopping/hanging. Next update will be harvest! 2 Girls 1 Cup week 12? Hopefully the finish is this week... My my my how WG has fattened up the last 2 weeks. Trying to get some good macros since it's too hard to hold the scope to my phone and focus everything. Probably better for the existing trics too since they're not being touched. Day 84- these trics are taking their sweet time to ripen. Was considering picking up some GHE Ripen to speed the process up.. especially because a local shop is closing and everything is 40% off. Let's keep it simple this run. I'll get some additives for the next grow to enhance GHE's perfected formulas of macro/micros in the Flora series. An update on the "sample" I clipped from WG the other day. It's not dried/cured proper. Actually been sitting in a brown bag with the outlet of the tent blowing on it lol. Can taste some vanilla in it through the chlorophyll and shit still in the flowers. VERY heady effect that hits me like a friggin wave. Creativity and energy uplifted for sure. Looking for the bodies in there too to help with pain, so we shall wait even longer for those ambers to show. ==================================================== ========================== ========================== Day 85- stepped up our hole a size or two.. lol. May bring home the step bit to drill again before a dark period at the end. The girls STINK! Getting VERY close to chopping day. Ooooh I can't wait (but I gotta). Picked up a grove bag to give it a whirl with curing. May put some in glass to compare side by side with the bags. Figured I'd give their roots an ice bath since I've done other bro science. Shit, GK still hasn't popped a nanner after all I've put her through 🤣. *edit* added some late day WG only pics to show her fall colors coming in. Moving in fast now. Temps have go a tad higher as the ambient temp outside has increased a little. Should start to see perfect temps again in the next week as temps outside begin to drop beow freezing. According to my previous grow pictures i should start to double and triple the colas in size over the next 2 weeks. Stay tuned!

The SCROG net was installed on the last day of Week 6, I included a couple pics from that night, to compare with how the plant looked the next day, which was the first day of Week 7. My nerve damaged fingers caused me to be a little rougher with her while the net was going on than I like, but as you can see, she bounced back very quickly and was reaching for the light less than 24 hours after being mangled lol. I will continue to systematically defoliate the upper canopy every night or two for the next several weeks, and will completely strip most everything below the net. Every night or two I'll tuck any branches that need tucking, and will remove any fan leaves covering bud sites. She spread out pretty well in the net, and truth be known i probably could have gotten away with a 6 week veg after, plants are a decent size in the net with the stretch left to go. Flip happens at the end of Week 7 The manganese issue seems to be getting much better by the end of the week. Will keep my pH levels at 5.8 for the remainder of this grow, and any subsequent grows. I also devised a fan mount to save on space in the net. Instead of standing the fan, i simply cut a piece of 1x3 to length, drilled 2 holes in each end, large enough for zip ties to pass through. then I simply zip tied it to the tent poles, took the legs off the fan, and screwed the base to the board. I placed a piece of foam on top, as the screws were a shade long and I was afraid the small protruding tip would eventually puncture the tent. Works much better than expected. No movement in the mount at all.

Hallo Freunde 👋 Permanent Marker ist 84 Tage Alt und seit Keimung in Blüte gesetzt worden 12/12 von Beginn an ! Sie hat sich sehr schön entwickelt und hat den Stretch nur für das nötigste an Höhe und Ast Stärke genutzt,um den Rest in ihre Blüten zu stecken! Sehr dicht und schwere buds die oben immer dicker und kompakter werden! Es ist nun absehbar das die Lady im Laufe der Woche geerntet wird,sie bekommt seit einer Woche nur noch Wasser und wird ab heute nicht mehr gegossen! Keep Green and grow High ✌️🍀💚🍀

Day 82 - 12/12/19 So harvest is here and what a journey this has been :) This plant took much longer than the others but paid off at the end with huge colas! Wet weigh was around 400g so im expecting about 60g from this once dried :) Has a slight fruity/spicy taste to it. i wont be able to honestly tell until fully dried and cured though :) Big thanks to RQS for thier amazing genetics and a big thanks to all who helped out along the way! Il update the dry weight when dried and the bud report all throughout curing :) Day 85 - 16/12/19 All buds have been dried and damn it really filled up this 68g jar! i got 64g dry weight of prime buds probably another 10g of popcorn buds that i threw in with the trim. coming into heavy flowering i expected an ounce, after i started adding calmag and pk13/14 the buds exploded. and my expectations raised to about 45g. for it to be 64g at harvest from a 43cm tall plant thats something. A few experienced growers reckoned the high yield was because of polyploidy which i believe is a genetic mutation. i looked it up and i cant say if this is what happened or not. The bud has been dried fully and slower than last time, ive tried to have airflow somewhat around the buds but not too close to avoid drying too quick. Ive only been curing for a day but its so smooth already. ive never tried anything like lowryder which is the makeup of this strain so il have to honestly rate it once cured for a week or so :) but until then i will say its been getting me quite stoned and couchlocked. i definitely harvested near the end of the harvest window. il add a final update once cured for a week so u guys know what this strain is like as a final product. Day 89 - 19/12/19 Ive cured for around a week and ive been smoking the buds and watching christmas movies alot! :'D The curing has developed a nice hit on the throat and more flavour along with burning better in joints and bongs :) ive smoked some exotic strains but i honestly feel this is among the best grown smoke ive had. it just feels so well grown with a smooth burn! i definitely harvested on the later side of the harvest window as buds have mostly amber pistils and smoking them gets me pretty stoned and sleepy! this is great as i have trouble sleeping and relaxing. i havent had this much sleep in a while. while i would say this is fairly average bud i still would rate it a solid 7, sure it might not have a strong exotic smell or flavour but it gets the job done well! and the high yield really impressed me. considering i need to be growing enough to stay medicated the 64g dry weight really made my day! Its very relaxing to know you dont have to struggle to get your medicine! I added a few photos of the best buds in the jar and im really impressed with myself for growing some fat buds! Have a good christmas folks and hope you enjoyed the diary, im gonna add it in to the newbie christmas draw so keep an eye out for it on there :) Finally i added a video of the little cayenne pepper plant featured in week 4 of this diary, its 78 days old now and is growing nice green waxy peppers :) I cant wait to makesome chilli flakes and some soup to keep me warm over the winter as soon as the peppers ripen! Started with a super low dose of massive bloom now that my flowering has started on these, it was recommended by the hydro guy and I wanted to use something as just the organics has not been thickening up the way all of my bottle grows did and I think it is due to a lack of PK. I also added in some myco spores on vermiculite that I got from the hydro store as well, figured it would be beneficial for the roots during flower and likely should have had it the entire grow. I have tied down my one plant in more places as a test to see if it will produce better than the other 2 which were only tied in one spot.

Yesterday I discovered that, in order to change my timer, I didn't put the clock back onto it. Now they had 3 hours more light on the third day of flowering. Exactly the kind of oopsies this grow really doesn't need. But it happened and all back on a normal schedule, but I hope the OHS en GG4 aren't affected by it too much... One accidental re-vegging is more than enough for a year. Also, these sensitive strains can hermie on me for lesser reasons so from now on I'll be checking for male signs daily. The XTraKush is performing as advertised, with enormous stretch, these plants can go 10 ft up according to the breeder. So I'm tying them down and managing this to fill out the space. With all the stuff going on, this 'underdog' strain might even prove most resilient, when all is said and done. They seem to respond really well to the SP-3000 light and If you are in the market for a new light, consider this option from Mars Hydro. Strain was a 10/10 imo one plant became hermaphrodite, so I took it out before it pollinated the others. one of them had botrytis problems which fortunately did not invade the entire plants but only a part of one of the main buds.. Yeld: Pheno #1 about (80g) Pheno #2 about (106g)

There was the usual overwatering discussion on YouTube. The soil I'm using consists mainly of peat with added perlite. It's also not compacted. In my last grow with this soil, it settled by about 5 cm in the 20L pot. The measured soil moisture reaches about 60% when saturated, but with my current watering pattern, it only reaches a maximum of just under 30%. I think there's always enough oxygen in the soil. I did, however, wait longer before watering this time. The removal of the bottom pair of nodes was also hotly debated. In my opinion, it was exactly the right thing to do. I would have had to remove the large pair of leaves above them to give the two branches full light. I would have had to trim the next pair of branches down significantly to bring them to the same level. In my previous grows, this resulted in small, bushy plants. This meant the buds were very close together and therefore susceptible to mold. Furthermore, the lower parts weren't fully developed. This was something I wanted to prevent in this grow. No more energy needed to be invested in the small branches, allowing the plant to focus on photosynthesis with its large leaves. The result is a uniform canopy.

RS11 is showing off now , she’s got mad sticky this week and starting to fill out very nicely, keeping up with the defol weekly and tying her down she’s stopped stretching for sure and wants to bulk up . Same same next week . Solid strain this , she loves feeding and does all the good stuff automatically. Gonna be a great month at chez Rangaku
