Grow diary 11 Stage 4 Days 31-40 Day 31 Turned power up to 85% on the mars hydro ts1000. Mines one of the old ones you need to stick a screw driver in to alter it. Day 36 Removed the single finger fan leaves and the 1st 3 fingered leaves. Day 39 Removed the 4 fan leaves from where she was topped last week. The start of this stage we hit a heat wave, day after day of heat. I had my humidifier on most of the 9 days. The tent didn't hit the temps I thought it would so that means I have my loft under a bit better control. The plant really kicked into gear this week, around day 34 she started to explode in growth. So far I have only done some lite defoliation by removing some of the 1st leaves that weren't getting any light anymore. I now think the west coast o.g is the nicest looking one in the grow. Week five in flower and not much change. The buds are starting to bulk up and get fat. I have noticed a color shift in the bud as well. They are developing a pink/purple hue with a gray undertone. It’s an unusual color because it’s very pastel looking. Frost production is still on high, these things are coated like crazy already. Magnesium issue has now stopped, I’ve been adding 1/16 teaspoon of magnesium sulfate to the water every time to keep up with the demand for this large plant. Smell is very strong and hits you hard when you open the tent. When rubbing the bud I pick up a fruity pebbles smell. So far watering every other day and she is sucking down about a gallon a day of water. Run off pH was reading 6.5 which has been spot on this entire grow so far.

To tell the truth, I am very surprised myself, how amazing she is FastBuds Gorilla cookies, she copes well with a small space:) she drinks 1 liter every day :) everything looks better than expected:) good luck to everyone.

Week three of flower is off to an amazing start! At day 22, the ladies are looking incredibly healthy. They're praying like crazy, reaching for the light, and stacking nodes like it's their job. The buds are starting to plump up, and the trichome production is getting intense. I'm so excited to see how they develop over the next few weeks!

16 august 2022 Given the way the plant is growing, I am a bit overwhelmed. It has two definite layers. Top layer has like 9 main nodes. Bottom layer has many many smaller nodes. But they are evenly distributed and have all the same height. From the base of the plant to the 2nd layer, I have removed all of the leaves. But I really have no idea if I should removed all of the second layer in order to really keep only the ~9 biggest nodes. Oh, let's wait, I guess.
